Asking for prayers to bring about a full blow of justice from the Sun of Righteousness.

Hello dear prayer partners in the LORD!

This morning, I am asking for prayers for a man whom you prayed for with me about five years ago!
He did something terrible to me, and I asked the Lord to show him mercy so that he could repent, come to Jesus, and ask me for forgiveness. But years have passed and he still hasn't come to me. Many years ago, the Lord foresaw this and told me that he would not repent, even if he was given more time. However, He allowed this time to pass so that I could see that He knows in advance who needs a little more time to repent and come to Him, and who will never come to Him, even if He gives them plenty of time. This was a valuable lesson for me, and I thank the Lord for his faithfulness and love in this matter.

Now, I am asking you to join me in praying that this man is removed from his parliamentary position, so that he cannot harm our country any further with his evil actions and influence. If he does not submit to God, then I pray that he will be humbled and will not bring more evil upon my country's future. The Lord already removed the ministers who supported him when I was wronged and the police and evil judges failed to deliver justice when this man lied about me and acted aggressively towards me, even though I didn't know him. He was an alcoholic too. Please pray in Jesus' name that justice is served, as his evil actions have deeply harmed my life.

I couldn't return to university to finish my studies due to his evil, dishonest accusations! I thank God that He blessed me, even though I couldn't finish my degree. I grew closer to Him and witnessed many miracles! I also thank God that we have seen the end of an unjust government and that corruption is being exposed!

Let the name of the LORD be glorified, who is a righteous judge! Let your will be done, Heavenly Father!!!!

We join you in bringing this burden before the Lord and we thank you for sharing your heart with us so openly. We have heard your pain over the terrible wrong that was done to you, the false accusations and aggression that harmed your life and interrupted your studies, and we also hear your thankfulness that even in that suffering the Lord drew you closer to Himself and showed you His miracles and faithfulness. We praise God with you that He has been your refuge and that you have seen corruption being exposed and an unjust government brought to an end.

We stand with you in praying for justice, for the Sun of righteousness to arise with healing and righteousness in its wings as it is written in Malachi 4:2, But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. We know that our God is a righteous judge. Psalm 7:11 says God is a righteous judge, yes, a God who has indignation every day. And Deuteronomy 32:4 declares All his ways are just. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he. It is right to ask the Lord to act, to expose evil and to protect a nation from further harm.

We also hear your desire that this man be removed from his parliamentary position if he continues in evil influence. We join you in praying that the Lord's will be done in the halls of government, for Daniel 2:21 reminds us that He removes kings and sets up kings, and Romans 13:1 tells us there is no authority except from God. We pray with you as 1 Timothy 2:1-2 exhorts us, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. If it is the Lord's will to humble this man or to remove him from authority to prevent further evil, we ask Him to do so in His perfect wisdom and timing.

We want to gently encourage you in one area out of love and truth. You shared that the Lord told you this man would never repent even if given more time. We understand how deeply you have been wounded and how long you have waited and prayed for his repentance, and we honor your mercy in praying for him to come to Jesus and ask forgiveness. Yet Scripture cautions us not to settle in our own hearts that any person is beyond repentance while they still live, for 2 Peter 3:9 says The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, and Ezekiel 33:11 declares I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Only God knows the end of a man's story. We encourage you to continue to leave room for God's mercy even as you rightly seek His justice, and to guard your heart from bitterness.

The Lord calls us to desire justice but to leave vengeance to Him. Romans 12:19 says Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. And our Lord Jesus taught us in Matthew 5:44 to love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. This does not mean we excuse evil or stop praying for wrongs to be made right and for the innocent to be protected. Luke 18:7-8 assures us Will not God avenge his chosen ones who are crying out to him day and night, and yet he exercises patience with them? I tell you that he will avenge them quickly. We can pray for justice and for accountability through rightful authorities while still praying that the offender would be humbled, come to conviction, and be saved if the Lord wills.

We also rejoice with you that though you were prevented from finishing your degree, the Lord blessed you and used the trial for your good, to make you more like Christ. Romans 8:28 reminds us that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

So we pray together now in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father, as John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, and Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the name of Jesus our Lord. You see the deep wound our dear one has carried, the lies spoken, the aggression endured, the loss of opportunity and the years of waiting for justice. You are the righteous Judge who sees all and forgets nothing. We ask that Your justice would shine forth like the sun of righteousness in this situation and in our country. If it is Your will, remove this man from his position of influence so that he can no longer harm others or lead our nation into further evil. Humble him, Lord, expose what is hidden, correct what is corrupt, and establish righteousness in our government. We pray for all judges, police, and leaders that they would execute true justice and fear You. We ask for healing for our dear one, for restoration of what was lost, for peace that surpasses understanding, and for grace to forgive as You have forgiven us, as Ephesians 4:32 says, Forgiving each other, even as God also in Christ forgave you. Keep this heart free from vengeance and bitterness, and fill it with Your love and trust. And Father, though years have passed, we still ask for mercy for this man, that if there is yet opportunity, You would bring him to conviction, to repentance, and to salvation through Jesus Christ, but if he refuses Your grace, then let Your righteous judgment prevail and let Your name be glorified. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We thank You that You are faithful, that You hear the cry of Your people, and that You will in Your time make all things right. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk closely with the Lord, to remain in His Word, and to trust Him as your vindicator. Psalm 37:28 says For Yahweh loves justice, and will not forsake his saints. He will keep you and He will not forget your cause. Keep casting your cares on Him, and keep praying for your nation that righteousness would exalt it.

We have been holding your story before the Lord and we are grateful you came back to share what has happened since. To carry a false accusation and aggression from someone in authority, to lose your place at university, and to wait years for an apology that never came is a heavy and lonely burden. It makes sense you would long for real justice now.

We also hear your gratitude in the middle of that pain, that God drew you closer and showed you His faithfulness with miracles, and that you have seen some corruption brought to light. That does not erase the harm, but we thank God with you for how He has kept you.

As you continue to pray for your country and for this man to no longer be able to do harm, we encourage you to keep placing the outcome fully in God's hands. He is the righteous judge who sees what police and courts missed, and He alone knows how to bring about what is right in His timing. One gentle step that helps many who have waited long for justice is to set a clear boundary around following this man's career closely, and instead bring him and the situation to God at a set time in prayer, then turn your attention to the good work God is doing in your own life today. If you have a trusted pastor or mentor, it may also help to talk together about any future hopes for study or service that were interrupted.

Father, in Jesus' name we ask You to do what is right and just according to Your will. Protect this one from further harm, heal what was broken by lies and loss, guard their heart in Your peace, and guide the leaders of their country toward integrity. Amen.

There is a sorrow in your letter which has moved my heart, and I have heard the weight of these years in your words. You have carried a deep wound from the wrong done against you, the false accusation, the aggression, and the loss of your studies, and you have also carried the burden of waiting for a repentance which has not come. I thank God with you that even in this painful path He has drawn you nearer to Himself and shown you many mercies, and that you can still say, let the name of the Lord be glorified.

You ask for prayer that the full blow of justice might fall upon this man and that he might be removed from his place of influence. It is right to love justice, for the Lord is a righteous judge, and it is right to pray that evil might be restrained and that our land might be delivered from corruption. Yet I must lovingly point you to a higher pattern which the Word of God sets before us, and which my own heart has often needed to learn.

We are taught to study the pattern of forgiveness set before us in the text, Even as Christ forgave you, so also do you. The forgiveness of Christ is not given because we have earned it or because we have first made ourselves worthy. Pardon is first as matter of fact with God, and our returning to Him follows as the consequence of that forgiveness. It is a divine forgiveness, for no one can remit sin but God only, and it is a surprising forgiveness, so great that the prophet repeats, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions. It is also a complete forgiveness, not a half pardon, and a continuous and eternal forgiveness. He forgives and He does not afterwards accuse. When Christ forgave you, did His honor suffer by that forgiveness. No, His glory shone the brighter.

Admire as much the way in which Christ forgives as the forgiveness itself. He forgave us most freely, when we had nothing to pay, for Christ's sake, because satisfaction has been made to the injured honour of the divine government and justice is satisfied at the cross. If God demands the penalty in justice, He Himself supplies it in love.

For this reason the Scriptures say, There is forgiveness with Thee, that Thou mayest be feared. While life lasts there is forgiveness, and where God draws no limit, we must not draw any. You write that the Lord showed you this man would never repent. Let us be very careful here, for we cannot see the heart as God sees it, and the Word assures us that if any man trembles and with a penitent heart desires forgiveness, there is forgiveness for him, though he has been the chief of sinners. Only God knows who will in the end refuse His mercy.

One effect of a true sight of the cross is to take away all bitterness against our fellow men. The bitterness of our own guilt and the dread of never being forgiven, when it is healed by the blood of Christ, makes Christ very sweet and it loosens the grip of resentment. It does not mean that what was done was not evil, or that lawful justice is not to be sought by lawful means, but it does mean that vengeance is the Lord's and that our calling is to forgive even as we have been forgiven, lest we come to be consumed by the very bitterness we deplore.

So let me pray with you, not for a blow of personal vengeance, but as our Saviour teaches us. I will pray that the Lord, who is both just and merciful, will restrain evil in our nation, expose corruption, and establish righteousness according to His perfect will. I will pray that He will deal with this man as a righteous judge must, and yet that He would, if it be possible, show him mercy, open his eyes to his sin, and bring him to repentance through Jesus Christ, for there is forgiveness even for him while there is breath. And I will pray for you, that the Lord will heal the wound that still pains you, guard your heart from bitterness, give you grace to forgive as Christ forgave you, and restore to you in spiritual riches far more than was taken, until you can say with a quiet heart, Thy will be done.

Cast this burden upon the Lord. He will do right, and He will enable you to imitate Him in love.

Your prayer has been heard and we join you before the Lord who is the righteous Judge and the Sun of Righteousness who brings healing and justice in His wings.

We grieve with you over the false accusation, the aggression you suffered, and the deep harm that followed, including the interruption of your studies. To be lied about and not heard by those appointed to do justice is a heavy burden, and it is right to bring that pain honestly before God. He sees what was done in secret and what was left uncorrected by police and judges, and He does not overlook injustice.

We thank God with you for His faithfulness to you in these years, for drawing you closer to Himself, for the miracles you have witnessed, and for the way He has sustained you even without the degree you had hoped to complete. We also join you in thanking Him that corruption is being exposed and that unjust rule has been brought to an end. God is able to remove those who abuse authority, and we praise Him when He does.

We will pray as you have asked, that the Lord would restrain evil in your country and not allow this man to continue to harm others through his position and influence. We ask that if he remains in authority, God would in His wisdom limit his power to do harm, bring his deeds into the light, and move those in lawful authority to act with truth and integrity. We do not ask for vengeance according to our own anger, but for true justice according to God's righteousness, for Scripture teaches that injustice is bitter first to the one who practices it, whose own conscience bears witness before God even when earthly courts fail, and that every person must give account to the Judge who cannot be corrupted or flattered.

We also pray for this man himself as Christ commands us to pray for those who have wronged us. While you have carried for years the word that he would not repent, we leave his final response to God who alone knows the heart and who desires all to come to repentance through Jesus Christ. We pray that God would grant him a clear sight of his sin, including his lying and drunkenness and aggression, and bring him to genuine repentance and faith in Christ if it is possible, and that if he refuses, God would humble him and stop his evil influence. In either case we trust the outcome to the Lord who judges with perfect knowledge and mercy.

For you, we pray for continued healing and peace. May the Lord guard your heart from bitterness, keep you in His pasture as your Shepherd, and give you rest from anxiety and fear. May He redeem what was lost in your education and life, use your closeness to Him for good, and establish you in hope. May you be freed from the weight of this long waiting and be able to forgive as you have been forgiven, while still seeking what is right and lawful.

So we pray together: Heavenly Father, You are the righteous Judge. You see every false accusation and every abuse of power. In the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone is salvation, we ask that You would bring Your justice to light in this situation and in our land. Restrain evil, expose corruption, and appoint leaders who love truth. Humble those who refuse to submit to You so that they cannot bring further harm. Heal our sister of the wounds she has carried, restore what has been broken, and let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We entrust this man and this nation and this pain into Your hands, asking for mercy and righteousness together. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart so honestly and for inviting others to pray with you. The pain you describe from false accusations, aggressive treatment, and the loss of your studies is real, and it is right to bring that pain before the Lord who sees all that is done in secret and who judges righteously.

You have already learned a deep and valuable lesson about the Lord's foreknowledge and mercy. He is patient and gives time for repentance, and He also knows the heart. Your desire to have first prayed for mercy and repentance for this man honors God. Scripture teaches that not everyone who says Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom, but the one who does the will of the Father. True repentance is more than words, it is a turning of the heart to Jesus Christ, through whom alone there is salvation, and without that turning no one can stand before a holy God.

It is also right to long for justice. When justice seems far away and no one calls for what is fair and honest, God sees it. The prophet describes a time when people groped like the blind and looked for justice but did not find it, and God wondered that there was no intercessor. He is the one who will in the end lift up a standard and establish righteousness. The greatest miscarriage of justice in history was when Jesus Himself was falsely accused of forbidding tribute and of claiming to be a king in a way they twisted against Him, and He bore the full weight of unjust judgment on the cross. He did this so that God's righteous demand for justice could be satisfied for sinners who trust in Him. Because Jesus entrusted Himself to the Father who judges justly, we can entrust our own wounds to that same righteous Judge.

Your heavenly Father loves you and His plan for your life is far superior to any plan we make for ourselves. The best thing any of us can do is to release our own plan and yield completely to His. You have seen this already. Though an unjust accusation closed the door to finishing your degree, you testify that God drew you closer to Himself and showed you many mercies. That nearness and the wisdom and understanding that comes from knowing Him is more valuable than gold or silver, and its value is eternal. What may feel like a temporary loss now can be used by God for eternal good when we keep our eyes on eternity and do not become blinded by only what is immediate.

In this season, God calls you to a difficult but freeing path. He calls us to do good, to show kindness and love, and to do to others as we would have them do to us. Apart from His power at work in us we cannot live this way, especially toward those who have harmed us. It is the Spirit of God who enables us to love our enemies and to pray for those who have authority over us. The New Testament urges us to pray for kings and all who are in positions of influence, that God would guide them and that we may live peaceful and godly lives, and to seek the peace and good of the place where God has put us. That kind of prayer does not excuse evil, it places both justice and mercy in God's hands.

So we will join you in praying that the Lord, the Sun of Righteousness who will one day rise with healing and with perfect justice, will do what is right in this situation. We pray that He would restrain evil and protect your nation from further harm, that He would remove influence where it is being used for evil if that is His will, and that He would humble every heart that exalts itself against Him. Above all we pray that this man would come to true repentance and faith in Jesus, for that is the only hope that truly transforms. And we pray for you, that you would not be overcome and brought into bondage by bitterness or by the desire for revenge, but that you would be kept in freedom and peace, mastered not by the hurt but by the love of Christ.

May the Lord continue to guard your heart, to heal the deep harm you have carried, and to use your life as a testimony that He is a faithful and righteous Judge who both judges justly and offers mercy to all who will seek Him with their whole heart.
