Hello dear prayer partners in the LORD!

I am asking for prayers for a man whom you prayed for with me about five years ago!
He did something terrible to me, and I asked the Lord to show him mercy so that he could repent, come to Jesus, and ask me for forgiveness. But years have passed and he still hasn't come to me. Many years ago, the Lord foresaw this and told me that he would not repent, even if he was given more time. However, He allowed this time to pass so that I could see that He knows in advance who needs a little more time to repent and come to Him, and who will never come to Him, even if He gives them plenty of time. This was a valuable lesson for me, and I thank the Lord for his faithfulness and love in this matter.

Now, I am asking you to join me in praying that this man is removed from his parliamentary position, so that he cannot harm our country any further with his evil actions and influence. If he does not submit to God, then I pray that he will be humbled and will not bring more evil upon my country's future. The Lord already removed the ministers who supported him when I was wronged and the police and evil judges failed to deliver justice when this man lied about me and acted aggressively towards me, even though I didn't know him. He was an alcoholic too. Please pray in Jesus' name that justice is served, as his evil actions have deeply harmed my life.

I couldn't return to university to finish my studies due to his evil, dishonest accusations! I thank God that He blessed me, even though I couldn't finish my degree. I grew closer to Him and witnessed many miracles! I also thank God that we have seen the end of an unjust government and that corruption is being exposed!

Let the name of the LORD be glorified, who is a righteous judge! Let your will be done, Heavenly Father!!!!

We join you in seeking the Lord together in Jesus' name and we thank you for sharing this long and painful journey with us. We have heard your heart and we grieve with you over the deep harm you suffered through false accusations, aggressive actions, and the failure of police and judges to deliver justice, and over how this affected your studies and your life. We also rejoice with you that in the midst of this trial you have drawn closer to the Lord, witnessed His miracles, and learned more of His faithfulness, and that you have seen Him expose corruption and remove unjust leaders in His time.

Your desire to see justice from the Sun of Righteousness is a biblical longing. As it is written, But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings Malachi 4:2, and He will judge the world in righteousness Psalm 9:8. We understand your prayer that if this man will not submit to God, that he would be humbled and removed from influence so he cannot bring further evil upon your country. It is right to pray for righteous governance, for God is the one who sets up and removes leaders, for promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south, but God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another Psalm 75:7, and There is no authority except from God, and those which exist are ordained by God Romans 13:1. We also are instructed to make petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence 1 Timothy 2:1-2, which includes praying that those in parliament would act justly and that evil influence would be restrained.

We also want to gently encourage you to guard your heart as you pray for justice, so that a desire for righteousness does not give place to bitterness. The Lord calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us Matthew 5:44, and to leave vengeance in His hands, for it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. For the Lord loves justice Psalm 37:28 and He will repay, yet He also desires that all would come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. Even when years have passed and you have come to believe, as you shared, that the Lord showed you this man would not repent, we encourage you to continue to leave his soul in God's hands with humility, for only God knows the heart fully, and to keep forgiving as God in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:32, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled thereby Hebrews 12:15. To forgive is not to say the evil did not matter or to stop praying for justice to be done, but to release the right to personally repay and to trust the righteous Judge to act in His perfect time, as He already has in removing those who supported injustice.

We pray together now for you and for your country.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we have access to You and no other name by which we can be saved Acts 4:12. We thank You that You are a righteous judge Psalm 7:11 who sees all that was done in secret, every lie and every aggressive act, and that nothing is hidden from Your sight. Lord, we ask that Your will be done in this situation and in our nation. If it is Your will, remove this man from his parliamentary position and restrain his influence, so that he can no longer harm others or lead the country toward evil. Expose what is corrupt, establish justice, and raise up leaders who will fear Your name and do what is right. We pray for this man himself, that if there is still opportunity for repentance, You would convict him of sin, bring him to true repentance and faith in Jesus, and lead him to confess and seek forgiveness. If he continues to harden his heart, we ask that You humble him and limit his power to do harm, as You have already humbled others. Father, we pray for healing for our dear fellow believer who was wounded by this injustice. Heal the deep harm to life and studies, redeem what was lost, and continue to bless and keep close to You. Help us not to be overcome by evil, but to overcome evil with good Romans 12:21. Let Your name be glorified as the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing and justice in Your perfect time. We trust Your timing and Your wisdom, and we ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

We have been thinking about you as we read your update, and we thank you for trusting us again after carrying this for so many years.

Waiting five years hoping for repentance and an apology, and then watching that hope go unmet, is a heavy burden. It makes sense that the false accusations, the aggression you described, and having to step away from your studies would still feel painful. Those kinds of wounds often linger long after the events themselves, and the longing to see right finally be called right is deeply human.

You mentioned what the Lord showed you about giving time and then seeing clearly who will turn and who will not. That is a hard lesson to live through, and we are grateful you have also seen His nearness in other ways, drawing closer to Him and seeing His care even when justice from people did not come.

We hear your prayer now is less about that personal apology and more about protection for your country and that this man would no longer be able to cause harm through his position. We join you in asking God to do what is right and merciful according to His will, and we also pray for your own healing as you continue to entrust this injustice to Him. Releasing the right to repay is not the same as saying what happened did not matter, and it does not require rebuilding a relationship. Peace in the heart often comes more slowly than the decision to leave justice in God's hands.

It may help to keep walking this out with one or two trusted believers who know your story and can pray with you regularly, so you do not carry the weight of watching for justice alone.

Father, we bring this situation before You and ask for Your righteous will to be done. Humble what needs humbling, protect this country from further harm, and bring healing and steadiness to our friend who was so deeply hurt. Give wisdom for the days ahead and remind her daily that she is seen and kept by You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your letter has come before us with both a wound and a witness, and we have heard you. You have suffered wrongfully through false accusation and aggressive dealing, you have lost much in your course of study, and yet you give thanks that the Lord has drawn you nearer to Himself and shown you many mercies. For this we bless God with you, for He is able to make even affliction to be a messenger of His love, and to turn the loss of earthly hopes into the gain of a closer walk with Christ.

You ask that justice may shine forth from the Sun of Righteousness, and that the Lord who is a righteous Judge would restrain evil in high places and protect your country from further harm. This is a right prayer, for our God is not as the gods of the heathen who know nothing of righteousness. He is the righteous Father, at once sternly righteous and infinitely tender, and He came in Christ to solve that great mystery, so that the Judge is as righteous as if He were not love, and the Father as loving as if righteousness had never been offended. We may therefore pray with confidence that He will do right, for shall not the Judge of all the earth do right, and there is forgiveness with Him that He may be feared.

Yet let us pray as those who have first lain at the feet of Jesus seeking pardon for ourselves. The same Word that says He will judge the world in righteousness says also that He sent His Word and healed them. First forgiveness, then healing, is the order of His grace. He does not grant pardon until we are humbled and see that He is great in justice and great in mercy, and low thoughts of God create doubts of pardon, but high thoughts of Him beget hope. If we have received forgiveness through the blood of the second Adam, who kept the law in every jot and tittle and wove a righteousness to cover us from head to foot, then we are called to forgive even as Christ forgave us. It is not a reprieve He gives, but a free pardon under the King's hand and seal, and those who have received it are to be at peace with all men as far as it lies in them.

We would gently counsel you in the matter of the soul of this man. You speak of a persuasion that he will never repent though time be given him. We cannot know the end of any man while life remains, for with God all things are possible, and many have come to Him first through fear and afterwards through love. Leave the secrets of election and of final hardness to Him who knows in advance what we cannot know. Our part is to trust and not to fear, to cry from the soul, God be merciful to me a sinner, and to intercede that others may do the same. To be afraid is often a mischievous thing, and to pronounce a final sentence upon another is to take up a burden God has not laid upon us. Commit his way unto the Lord, who sees all falsehood and all violence, and who will not hold the guilty guiltless, yet who delights to show mercy to the penitent.

Therefore we will join you in prayer, not with a spirit of vengeance, for vengeance belongs unto the Lord, but with a desire for His righteous will to be done. We will pray that if it be according to His wisdom, this man be removed from that place of influence where he may do harm, that corruption be exposed, that lawful justice be executed by those appointed to bear the sword, and that evil be restrained. We will pray also that he may be humbled under the mighty hand of God, that he may see his need of Christ, and that he may, if God wills, come to repentance and to ask both God and you for forgiveness. And we will pray for you, that the Lord would heal the deep wound left by this wrong, that you would know more fully that your sins are forgiven you by Divine authority, that fear would give way to trust as a child who knows his mother is near, and that your life, though your studies were interrupted, may yet be fruitful in service to Him who must first heal us before we can serve Him.

May the Lord, who is your righteous Father, keep you in perfect peace as you trust in Him, and may His name be glorified in justice and in mercy.

We commend you to Him who has blotted out as a thick cloud your transgressions for His own sake, and we ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

Thank you for sharing so openly about the deep hurt you have carried for these years and for the way you have sought the Lord through it. We hear the pain of false accusations, of being treated unjustly by those who should have protected you, of losing the chance to finish your studies, and of seeing someone who harmed you continue in a place of influence. It is understandable to long for justice and for wrongs to be made right, and we thank God with you for the ways He has drawn you closer to Himself and shown you His mercy and faithfulness even in this hardship.

We want to pray with you in a way that honors what Scripture teaches about prayer, justice, and mercy. God is indeed a righteous judge, and He sees all that has been done, and His justice is perfect. Scripture also teaches that vengeance belongs to the Lord and that we are to leave room for His justice in His time and His way, while we seek to walk in mercy as He has shown mercy to us.

For this reason we cannot join you in praying for harm or downfall to come upon this man, or asking God to curse or humiliate him. Jesus commands us to pray for our neighbors and even for our enemies, not against them, and to let our prayers be accompanied with thanksgiving. When we pray with a bitter or accusing spirit, saying in effect do to him as he did to me or strike him or repay him, that prayer harms our own soul more than it touches the other person. Cursing and praying are far apart, and the mouth that has received the grace of Christ is called to remain pure and free from imprecations. We are taught to be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another even as God in Christ forgave us, and to imitate God in this.

That does not mean your pain is not real or that justice does not matter. God mingles mercy with justice, and He calls even those who have suffered to show great consideration, not because the wrong was small but because we have been forgiven so much. The Lord desires that all would come to repentance, and we cannot finally know in this life who will never repent. While you sensed the Lord teaching you through time, we encourage you not to close the door in your own heart on the possibility of repentance, for God is patient and His kindness leads toward repentance.

So with your permission we would like to pray in this way instead. We will pray for your healing and peace, that the bitterness that naturally wants to take root would not be allowed to grow, and that you would continue to know the comfort of Christ. We will pray for this man that God would bring him to conviction of sin, to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, and to a true turning from his wrongdoing, including alcoholic abuse and any abuse of power. We will pray for our country and for those in authority, that God would raise up just and honest leaders, expose corruption, and restrain evil through lawful and righteous means. And we will pray that you would be able to entrust the justice you have not yet seen to God, who will judge righteously, while you walk in forgiveness as Christ has forgiven you, not to excuse the wrong but to free your heart before the Lord.

If there are lawful and proper ways to seek accountability for what was done to you, we encourage you to seek wise and godly counsel about those steps. In all things we will ask that the will of the Heavenly Father be done and that His name be glorified through truth, mercy, and righteousness.

We thank God for the miracles and growth you have already seen, and we will continue to thank Him as we bring these requests before Him.
