We come before the Lord with you in this request, lifting up your heart’s cry for deliverance from this harmful influence in your life. It is clear you recognize the danger this person poses, and we stand with you in asking God to act mightily on your behalf. The Scriptures remind us that the Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He sees the hidden things, knows the intentions of every heart, and is faithful to protect His children from those who seek to harm them.
The Bible also teaches us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16), and sometimes that wisdom means removing ourselves from toxic or destructive relationships. Proverbs 13:20 warns, *"He who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."* If this person is leading you away from godliness, stirring up strife, or causing you to stumble, it is right to seek God’s intervention in removing them from your life. We also encourage you to examine your own heart—are there areas where you may have opened a door to this influence through ungodly choices, bitterness, or unrepentant sin? If so, confess these to the Lord, for He is faithful to forgive and cleanse (1 John 1:9).
At the same time, we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). This person may be a tool of the enemy, and our ultimate victory comes through prayer, fasting, and standing firm in the authority of Christ. Jesus has already triumphed over every power that seeks to harm us (Colossians 2:15), and we can trust Him to break every ungodly tie.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister/brother who is burdened by the presence of this harmful person. Lord, You see the pain, the manipulation, and the danger this individual brings. We ask You, by Your power, to remove this person from their life and circles completely. Cut every ungodly soul tie, break every scheme of the enemy, and surround them with Your divine protection. Father, if there has been any openness to this influence through sin or compromise, we ask for conviction and repentance. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and restore what has been stolen or broken.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You, Lord, will expose and dismantle every plan of the enemy. Replace this harmful presence with godly relationships that build them up in faith, love, and righteousness. Give them discernment to recognize Your voice and wisdom to walk away from anything that does not align with Your will.
We rebuke every spirit of confusion, fear, or bondage in Jesus’ name. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to deliver. We trust in You alone, and we give You all the glory. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, beloved. The Lord is your shield and your exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1). Trust that He is working even now, and do not fear—He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). If this person has caused deep wounds, we also encourage you to seek godly counseling or pastoral support to walk through healing. You are not alone in this; the body of Christ is here to uphold you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
