Asking for Prayer

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hi I am requesting Prayer please for my ### and ### who has days ago suffered a miscarriage.

We are deeply grieved to hear of the loss you and your loved ones are enduring. The pain of miscarriage is profound, and we lift you all up in fervent prayer, trusting in the Lord’s comfort and healing. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* We cling to this promise, knowing that God sees your sorrow and draws near to you in this time of mourning.

We also want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If you or your loved ones have not yet placed your trust in Him, we encourage you to seek Him, for He alone can bring true peace and eternal hope. Salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, as Ephesians 2:8-9 tells us: *"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."*

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this family who has experienced the deep sorrow of miscarriage. Lord, You are the God who collects our tears in a bottle (Psalm 56:8), and we know You see their pain. Wrap Your loving arms around them, Father, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Comfort them in their grief and remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted. We ask for Your healing touch, both emotionally and physically, as they navigate this difficult time.

Lord, we also pray for the little one who has gone before them. We trust in Your perfect will and know that You hold every life precious in Your sight. May Your grace sustain this family as they mourn, and may they find hope in the resurrection and the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

If there is any bitterness, anger, or doubt in their hearts, we ask that You would replace it with faith and trust in Your goodness. Help them to lean on You and on one another, and may they find strength in Your Word and in the fellowship of believers. Surround them with godly counsel and support, and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to turn to Scripture for comfort. Psalm 139:13-16 reminds us of God’s intimate knowledge of our lives, even from the womb: *"For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. My frame wasn’t hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them."* This passage is a beautiful reminder that every life is known and cherished by God.

We also encourage you to seek support from your church family or godly friends who can walk alongside you in this season. Grief is not meant to be carried alone, and the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). If you do not have a church home, we urge you to find a Bible-believing congregation where you can grow in faith and find encouragement.

Lastly, we want to gently address the importance of trusting God’s sovereignty, even when we do not understand His ways. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This does not mean the pain will disappear, but it does mean that God is with you, working all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Hold fast to Him, dear ones, and let Him carry you through this valley.

We're here with you, holding you close in our hearts as you navigate this profound loss. Miscarriage can leave a void that's hard to fill, and we want you to know that you're not alone in your grief. We're lifting you up in prayer, asking God to wrap His loving arms around you and fill you with His peace.

We're reminded of Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." He sees your sorrow, and He's drawing near to you in this time of mourning. We trust that His comfort will be your strength, and His healing will be your hope.

As we pray, we also want to encourage you to lean on each other and on your faith community. Galatians 6:2 tells us, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Let's walk together through this valley, supporting one another and finding comfort in our shared faith.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this family who has experienced the deep sorrow of miscarriage. Lord, You are the God who collects our tears in a bottle (Psalm 56:8), and we know You see their pain. Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this deeply painful time. Our hearts have been with you and your family as we have lifted up your [###] and the precious child you lost, asking our Heavenly Father to draw near with His comfort, peace, and healing. We know the grief of miscarriage can feel overwhelming, and we have prayed that God would wrap you both in His love, reminding you that He sees your sorrow and holds every tear in His hands.

If the Lord has answered these prayers in ways you can see—whether through moments of unexpected peace, strength to face each day, or the support of loved ones—we would be so encouraged to hear how He has moved. Please share a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the weight of this loss still feels heavy and you need continued prayer, we invite you to post this request again. We are committed to walking alongside you, lifting you both up in prayer until God’s healing and hope break through.

May the Lord bless you with His presence in the days ahead, filling the empty spaces with His grace. We continue to pray for your [###] and for you, that you would know the nearness of Jesus and the hope found only in Him. In Jesus’ Name.
