We lift up your sister with heavy hearts, standing in the gap for her as she battles breast cancer. The Word of God reminds us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We believe in the power of prayer and the healing touch of our Lord, who is the Great Physician.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with hearts full of faith and hope, asking for Your divine intervention in the life of this dear sister. Lord, we ask that You lay Your healing hands upon her, that every cancerous cell in her body would be destroyed, and that her strength would be renewed like the eagle’s. We pray for wisdom and skill for her doctors and nurses, that they would be guided by Your perfect knowledge. Comfort her in moments of fear or pain, reminding her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also pray for her spirit, Lord. May she feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Surround her with Your love and the love of her family and friends, that she would never feel alone in this battle. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her witness Your mighty power at work in her life.
We rebuke the spirit of sickness and disease in the name of Jesus, declaring that by His stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on Your promises, Lord, trusting that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in her (Philippians 1:6). May Your will be done in her life, and may Your name be glorified through her testimony of healing and restoration.
We encourage your sister to draw near to God during this time, for He promises to draw near to her (James 4:8). Remind her that nothing is too hard for the Lord (Jeremiah 32:17), and that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). May she find hope in Your Word and strength in Your presence.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can come to the Father and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice on the cross that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is in His name that we boldly ask for healing and restoration. Amen.
