Asking for prayers to bring about a full blow of justice from the Sun of Righteousness.

Kensem

Beloved of All
Hello dear prayer partners in the LORD!

I am asking for prayers for a man whom you prayed for with me about five years ago!
He did something terrible to me, and I asked the Lord to show him mercy so that he could repent, come to Jesus, and ask me for forgiveness. But years have passed and he still hasn't come to me. Many years ago, the Lord foresaw this and told me that he would not repent, even if he was given more time. However, He allowed this time to pass so that I could see that He knows in advance who needs a little more time to repent and come to Him, and who will never come to Him, even if He gives them plenty of time. This was a valuable lesson for me, and I thank the Lord for his faithfulness and love in this matter.

Now, I am asking you to join me in praying that this man is removed from his parliamentary position, so that he cannot harm our country any further with his evil actions and influence. If he does not submit to God, then I pray that he will be humbled and will not bring more evil upon my country's future. The Lord already removed the ministers who supported him when I was wronged and the police and evil judges failed to deliver justice when this man lied about me and acted aggressively towards me, even though I didn't know him. He was an alcoholic too. Please pray in Jesus' name that justice is served, as his evil actions have deeply harmed my life.

I couldn't return to university to finish my studies due to his evil, dishonest accusations! I thank God that He blessed me, even though I couldn't finish my degree. I grew closer to Him and witnessed many miracles! I also thank God that we have seen the end of an unjust government and that corruption is being exposed!

Let the name of the LORD be glorified, who is a righteous judge! Let your will be done, Heavenly Father!!!!
Thank you!!!

We join you in prayer before our righteous Father and we thank you for sharing this heavy burden with us again after these many years. We have heard your pain over the terrible wrong done to you by this man, the false and dishonest accusations, the aggression from one you did not even know, and the failure of police and judges to deliver justice, and how this cost you your university studies and deeply harmed your life. We also rejoice with you that even in this the Lord has blessed you, drawn you closer to Himself, shown you miracles, and shown His faithfulness and love, and that you have seen corruption being exposed and an unjust government brought to an end.

We stand with you in asking for true justice from the Lord, for He is the righteous Judge. As it is written, But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. You will go out and leap like calves of the stall. Malachi 4:2. And also, He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with his truth. Psalm 96:13. And God is a righteous judge, yes, a God who has indignation every day. Psalm 7:11. We know the Lord sees all that was done in secret, He hates a lying tongue and a false witness who utters lies. Proverbs 6:16-19, and You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. Exodus 20:16. Nothing is hidden from Him and He will not leave the guilty unpunished, yet He is also merciful and patient.

We hear your heart that you first prayed for mercy for this man that he might repent and come to Jesus and ask you for forgiveness, and that after years of waiting you believe the Lord showed you he would not repent even if given more time. We commend your initial mercy, for the Lord is patient, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9. At the same time we gently encourage you to remain humble about what only God can know with certainty, for we do not know the end of a man's story while he still breathes, and we are commanded to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. Matthew 5:44. Even as we pray for justice, we must guard our own hearts against bitterness, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you. Hebrews 12:15. We are to forgive as God in Christ forgave us. Ephesians 4:32, and If you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. Matthew 6:14. Forgiveness does not mean that what was done was not evil, nor does it mean that justice should not be done, it means we release the right to take vengeance into our own hands.

For it is written, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19. Justice belongs to the Lord and to the authorities He has ordained to restrain evil. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are ordained by God. Romans 13:1, and he is a servant of God to you for good, but if you do wrong, be afraid, for he doesn't bear the sword in vain. Romans 13:4. Therefore we can and should pray that God would establish justice through righteous governance and that evil influence would be removed.

We thank God that you have asked this in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5, and In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. We cling to His name together.

We pray with you now.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we ask for Your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Lord, You have seen the lies spoken against our dear one, the aggression, the injustice when those charged to do justice failed, and the harm that followed. You are the righteous Judge who judges righteously and who will not be mocked. We ask that You would arise as the Sun of Righteousness with healing and with justice. If it is Your will, remove this man from his parliamentary position so that he can no longer harm this country with evil actions and influence. Humble him, restrain his evil, expose every hidden corruption, and let truth and righteousness prevail in that land. We pray for the nation, for all those in authority, that they may lead with honesty and fear of You. 1 Timothy 2:1-2. Lord, we also place this man’s soul before You. If there remains any opportunity for him to be broken, to repent, to turn from drunkenness and lying and aggression and to come to Jesus for salvation, we ask for Your mercy to reach him, for You desire mercy. Yet if he hardens his heart and refuses You, we ask that his evil be stopped and that no more harm come to others or to our dear one’s future. Father, heal the deep wounds left in our dear one’s life, redeem what was lost at the university, continue to draw them closer to You, and let Your justice bring peace and closure. Guard their heart from vengeance and bitterness and fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and help them to forgive as You have forgiven them, while trusting You fully to repay. Let Your name be glorified as the One who does all things well and at the right time. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk closely with the Lord, to keep your hands clean and your heart pure before Him, and to trust His timing. The Lord has already shown He can remove those who abuse power, and He will complete what He has begun. Continue to pray for your country, that God would raise up honest leaders, and continue to seek healing in Christ, for He binds up the brokenhearted. Psalm 147:3. We stand with you for justice, for healing, and for the glory of our Lord to be revealed.

We have been sitting with your story and we hear how long and heavy this road has been. To be falsely accused by someone you did not even know, to have the doors of the university close, to seek help from police and judges and not find it, that leaves a deep mark. We also hear your gratitude in the middle of it, that God drew you closer, showed you His faithfulness, and let you see miracles even while you were carrying this hurt.

Waiting these five years after praying for mercy for this man has clearly cost you much, and it is understandable that you now long to see righteousness prevail for your own life and for your country. We join you in asking the Lord, who sees all that has happened, to bring what is true into the light and to guard your nation from further harm.

As you continue to bring this before Him, it may help to have one or two trusted people walking with you in prayer, not only for justice in the public sphere but for your own ongoing healing and peace. You have carried this largely alone for a long time, and sharing the burden with a pastor or mature believer you trust can help keep your heart steady while you wait on the Lord's timing.

Father, we lift this dear one to You and ask for Your righteous will to be done. Protect this country and its leaders, bring truth where there have been lies, and bring healing where there has been deep harm. Give wisdom, rest, and renewed hope as You continue to lead forward, in Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden has been heard, and your desire that the Lord should show Himself as a righteous Judge is itself a testimony that you believe He reigns and that no wrong escapes His eye. The Lord is indeed the Sun of Righteousness who shall arise with healing in His wings, and His justice is not as the justice of men which may fail or be bought, but a perfect justice. As it has been well said, any theology which offers pardon without punishment ignores the major part of the character of God, for God is love, but God is also just, as severely just as if He had no love, and yet as intensely loving as if He had no justice. He will not call evil good, nor will He leave the guilty unregarded.

You have suffered deeply through false accusation and aggression, and the loss you have felt in your studies and in the course of your life is not light. It is right to bring such griefs before the Lord, for He treats us not as blocks of wood or stone, but as reasonable beings, and He invites the wounded soul to pour out its complaint. Yet in bringing this cry for justice we must remember how Scripture directs us to pray.

The ten great guns of the Law of God are all aimed at the poor sinner, and justice has but to lift its finger and swift and awful would be the punishment which sin would bring upon us all. If we ask for unmixed justice for another, we must remember that we ourselves stand in need of mercy. We have been taught to pray, Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors, and God often deals with men as they deal with others. With the forward He will show Himself forward, but to the merciful He shows mercy. This does not mean that we are to call wrong right, or to ask God to overlook evil in high places, but it does mean that our prayers must leave vengeance in His hands. Vengeance belongs unto the Lord, and He will repay in His own time and way.

You speak of a word you felt the Lord gave you concerning this man never coming to repentance. Take heed to hold fast to what is written, for it is the Word of God applied by the Holy Spirit that is the means of healing sin sick souls, and the Lord Jesus Christ Himself is the Word sent for the healing of such. The Scriptures tell us that the Lord is longsuffering, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, and we cannot with certainty set a seal upon any living man as beyond mercy while breath remains. Years ago you rightly prayed that he might be shown mercy so that he could repent and come to Jesus. That was a Christlike prayer. Do not now exchange it for a prayer that seeks only his humbling or ruin, though it is right to pray that his power to do evil may be restrained.

We may therefore pray thus with you, and we do so in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone salvation is found. We pray that the Lord, who is a great God and a Savior, great in justice, before whom we must bow in penitence and honor that justice, would do what is right for your country. If it be His will to remove this man from his place of influence that he may no longer harm others, we pray that He would do so. If it be His will to expose corruption and to establish righteous judgment through lawful means, we pray that He would do so. And we pray also, as our hearts desire for all men, that this man, who is himself a sinner under the same justice, may yet be brought to see his sin, to repent and to seek forgiveness through the blood of Christ, who bore the whole tremendous debt due to God for all who trust in Him. For God does not exact punishment twice, first at the hands of the Surety and then again at our own, and there is forgiveness with Him that He may be feared.

For yourself, we pray that the Lord would continue the healing He has begun. You have thanked Him that even without the degree you sought, He drew you closer and showed you many mercies. Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness and for His wonderful works to the children of men. Let that praise continue. Ask the Lord to keep your heart from bitterness, to give you grace to forgive even as you have been forgiven, not because the wrong was small, but because Christ has forgiven you so great a debt. Ask Him to preserve your going out and your coming in, to deliver you from the Evil One, and to turn even this trial to your good and His glory.

We will join you in praying that the Lord would crown this season with His goodness, that justice and truth would prevail in your land, that those in authority would be held to account by righteous means, and that you would find peace not in the fall of another but in the full atonement made and the utmost ransom paid by Christ, through whom the Judge is as righteous as if He were not love and the Father as loving as if righteousness had never been offended. May the Spirit point you to that full atonement, that you may clap your hands for very joy as you perceive that God can be your Father and receive you as His child, and yet His righteousness remain unblemished.

We pray with you, Heavenly Father, let Your will be done. Do justice, restrain evil, heal the wounded heart, and magnify Your mercy and Your truth through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been received with care and with sorrow for the deep harm you have endured, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who is a righteous Judge, strong and patient.

We thank God with you that in the midst of loss, when you could not return to finish your studies because of false accusation and aggression, He drew you closer to Himself and showed you His faithfulness and many mercies. We also thank Him with you that corruption is being exposed and that unjust dealings are not hidden from His eyes, for darkness is no darkness with Him.

You ask for a full revealing of justice from the Sun of Righteousness, and that this man would be restrained from further harm to you and to your country, even removed from his place of influence if it is the Lord's will. This is right to bring to God, for He has told us to judge the fatherless and do justice for the widow, and He cares deeply for those who are wronged. Scripture teaches that God will judge the people in righteousness, and that His righteous judgment will be revealed in its time, when each receives according to his deeds. Here many judgments fail, police and judges may fail, rulers may be corrupted and accusations may be false, but there is a conscience within that God has planted which cannot be bribed, and there is a day when all will be made plain.

At the same time we encourage you to guard your own heart before Him. You shared that the Lord showed you this man would never repent even if given more time. We must be very humble in such matters, for God desires all to come to repentance and His long suffering waits to lead sinners to return. We cannot finally know who will never repent, and we are called not to treasure up wrath for ourselves but to leave vengeance to the Lord, for it is written that vengeance belongs to Him and He will repay. The bitterness of injustice falls most heavily in the end not on the one who suffers it but on the one who practices it, whose conscience is scourged within even if outward flatterers and power seem to shield him for a season.

So let us pray together not from a spirit of hatred, but from a desire for God's holy will and for the good of many.

We pray that the Lord, who judges in righteousness, would do what is just and right in this situation according to His perfect will. If it is His will to humble this man, to restrain his influence, and to remove him from his parliamentary position so that he can no longer use it for evil, we ask Him to do so. We ask that all lies be brought into the light, that truth be established, and that those in authority would act with integrity. We also pray, as you first prayed five years ago, that if there is still any place for repentance, God in His mercy would grant it, that this man would come to know Jesus Christ, confess his sin, and turn from it. If he continues to refuse, we pray that God would limit the harm he can do and protect your country from further evil.

We pray also for you, that the Lord would heal what has been deeply wounded, restore what was lost, and give you peace that comes from trusting His judgment rather than carrying the weight of judgment yourself. May He keep you free from anxiety and rivalry and the burden of false accusation, and crown you even now with the quiet reward of a life lived in order and trust before Him.

We will continue to stand with you in prayer that the name of the Lord be glorified, that His will be done, and that justice and mercy, which meet together in Christ, would be seen in your life and in your land.

In the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and true Judge, we ask these things. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your story so honestly and for letting us know how the Lord has carried you through these years. It is painful to be falsely accused, to be treated aggressively by someone you did not know, and to see that affect your studies and your life. It is also painful when those who are supposed to protect and judge fairly fail to do so. At the same time it is encouraging to hear that even without finishing your degree you have grown closer to the Lord and have seen His kindness and His power at work in your life.

Your desire for justice is understandable and right. Scripture teaches that God Himself is the righteous Judge. He sees what is done in secret, He knows the truth when lies are told, and He will do what is right. The Bible also teaches that every person who rules over others will one day give an account to God. Those who lead are called to lead in justice and in the fear of God, because a nation is built on pillars like righteousness, justice and equity. When those pillars are weakened through corruption and abuse, the whole nation is put in danger. It is good and right to pray that God would expose corruption, restrain evil, and raise up leaders who will rule with honesty and reverence for Him.

Scripture also helps us understand the difference between justice, mercy and grace. Justice is receiving what we deserve. Mercy is not receiving what we deserve. Grace is receiving good that we do not deserve. When we come before God for ourselves, we do not cry out for justice, because justice would condemn us. We cry out for mercy and grace through Jesus Christ, and that is what He offers to all who turn to Him. That is why your first prayer for this man, that he would receive mercy and come to repentance and faith in Christ, reflected the heart of God, who is patient and desires that people turn from sin and be saved.

Only the Lord knows a person's heart and whether he will repent. We can trust that God knows perfectly who will turn to Him and who will not, and we can leave that judgment to Him. Our part is to continue to walk in truth and in love. The command we have had from the beginning is to love one another with the self giving love that God has shown us. That love does not excuse sin or call evil good, and it does not keep us from praying for what is right. It does keep us from holding on to bitterness or seeking personal revenge. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He will repay in His perfect way and time.

You mentioned waiting years as Paul once waited under corrupt officials who used him for political advantage and delayed the justice he was entitled to. God saw that delay and used it for His purposes, even as He remained the true Judge over all. In a similar way, God has seen your waiting, the failure of earthly justice, and the harm you have suffered. He has not overlooked it.

So we will join you in praying according to God's will. We will pray that the Lord, the Sun of Righteousness who will one day rise with healing and bring every hidden thing to light, would do what is just in this situation. We will pray that evil influence would be restrained, that corruption would continue to be exposed, and that those in authority would be held to account. If this man is using his position to harm others, we will pray that God in His wisdom would remove that influence so he can no longer do harm. We will also pray that God's perfect justice would be done without hatred on our part, and that you would be kept from bitterness and be healed from the deep wounds these accusations have caused.

We will pray too for you, that the Lord would continue to redeem what was lost, guide your future, provide for your needs, and use your life as a witness to His faithfulness. May He establish His righteousness in your country and be glorified as the One who judges justly and who also offers mercy to all who call on Jesus.

Father, we bring this situation before You. You are the righteous Judge who sees all things. We ask that You restrain evil, expose what is corrupt, and establish justice and truth. Raise up leaders who will rule in justice and in the fear of God. We entrust this man to You, asking that Your will be done in his life, that You would humble what needs to be humbled and stop what needs to be stopped. We ask for healing and peace for our dear brother or sister who has been hurt, that You would continue to draw them close, provide for them, and let Your name be glorified in their life. In Jesus name, amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer over these many years.

We have continued to bring before the Lord your request for a full blow of justice from the Sun of Righteousness as written in Mal 4:2, and we remember well how you first asked us to pray about five years ago for the man who deeply harmed your life with his lies and aggression. We stood with you as you prayed with such mercy that he would repent, come to Jesus and seek forgiveness, and we share your sorrow that he has not done so even after all this time the Lord has allowed him. We thank God with you for the valuable lesson He has taught you about His foreknowledge, His patience, and His faithfulness and love, and for how He has blessed you and drawn you closer to Himself and shown you many miracles even while you were unable to return to university to finish your studies because of those dishonest accusations.

We are now standing in agreement with you that the Lord, our Righteous Judge, will accomplish His perfect justice and will. We continue to pray that if this man will not submit to God and repent, the Lord will humble him and remove him from his parliamentary position so that he can no longer harm our country with his evil actions and influence, just as we have already seen the Lord remove those ministers who supported him when the police and judges failed to deliver justice. We pray that the Lord will expose all corruption and protect our country from further evil, for we know that God is a righteous judge and that vengeance belongs to Him according to Rom 12:19 and that He will bring your righteousness as the light according to Psalm 37:6.

If your request has been answered and you have seen the Lord bring justice and remove this influence, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice and glorify His name with you. If your request does not yet seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We pray that the Lord will continue to heal your heart from the harm done to you, to vindicate you fully, and to let His will be done in our country. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His son, Jesus Christ.

We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
