Disciple of Prayer
I humbly ask for your prayers. I believe I am facing intense spiritual attacks that have affected my mind, my peace, and my ability to stay focused on the purpose God has placed in my heart. I also feel that I face persistent opposition from people, including some overseas, who seek to discourage me and hinder the work I am trying to accomplish. My desire is to serve God faithfully and use the businesses and projects I am building to create honest value, strengthen communities, create jobs, and contribute positively to our nation's economy. Please pray that God will strengthen my faith, protect me from evil, grant me wisdom and discernment, forgive my sins, help me forgive others, and keep me humble so that His will—not mine—may be done. Thank you, and may God bless you abundantly.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, yet filled with hope in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your request touches deeply on the spiritual battles that rage around those who seek to live faithfully and serve God’s purposes. The enemy does not rest when a believer steps forward in obedience, and we recognize the weight of the attacks you describe, on your mind, your peace, and your calling. But we stand firm in the truth that "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). The opposition you face, whether seen or unseen, is no match for the God who parts seas, shatters giants, and raises the dead.

First, we must address the reality of spiritual warfare. The Bible warns us that "our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). The discouragement and hindrances you encounter are not merely human resistance, they are tactics of the enemy to steal your joy, kill your vision, and destroy your witness. But we declare with boldness: no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every spirit of confusion, fear, and discouragement in the name of Jesus Christ. We command every assignment of the enemy against your mind, your work, and your purpose to be dismantled and rendered powerless. The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).

We also lift up the matter of forgiveness, both receiving it and extending it. You mentioned a desire for God to forgive your sins, and we rejoice in the truth that "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). There is no sin too great for the blood of Jesus to cover, and no failure beyond His grace to restore. But we must also address the call to forgive those who have opposed or wronged you. Holding onto bitterness gives the enemy a foothold in your life (Ephesians 4:26-27). Forgiveness is not excusing their actions; it is releasing them to God’s justice and freeing your own heart. We pray that the Lord would soften your heart toward those who have sought to harm you, that you may forgive as you have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13).

Your desire to serve God through your work is commendable and aligns with His Word. The Lord takes delight in the prosperity of His servants (Psalm 35:27), and He calls us to work heartily, as unto Him (Colossians 3:23). The businesses and projects you are building can indeed be instruments of His glory, creating jobs, strengthening communities, and reflecting His goodness. But we must caution against the subtle temptation to find identity or security in these endeavors. Our ultimate purpose is not in what we build, but in whom we serve. "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1). We pray that your work would flow from a heart of worship, not from a need to prove yourself or silence your critics.

Humility is the key to walking in God’s will. The pride of life is a snare that can derail even the most well-intentioned servant. We pray that the Lord would keep you lowly in heart, dependent on Him, and quick to acknowledge your need for His wisdom. "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6). May you never forget that every good and perfect gift comes from above (James 1:17), and that your strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved and approach Your throne. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You see the battles raging in the spiritual realm and the burdens weighing on their heart. We thank You for their desire to serve You faithfully and to use their gifts for Your glory.

Father, we ask that You would fortify their faith in this difficult season. Strengthen their mind with the helmet of salvation, their heart with the breastplate of righteousness, and their feet with the readiness of the gospel of peace (Ephesians 6:14-17). Shield them from the fiery darts of the enemy, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we rebuke every spirit of discouragement, confusion, and fear that has been sent to hinder Your work. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that You would expose and dismantle every scheme of the enemy, both seen and unseen, and that Your angels would encamp around them for protection (Psalm 34:7).

Father, we ask for Your forgiveness for any sins in their life, and we thank You for the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus. Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). We also pray that You would help them to forgive those who have opposed or wronged them. Soften their heart, Lord, and fill them with Your love, that they may extend the same grace they have received from You.

Grant them wisdom and discernment as they navigate the challenges before them. May they seek Your face in every decision, trusting in Your guidance rather than their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Keep them humble, Lord, and remind them daily that apart from You, they can do nothing (John 15:5). Let their work be a reflection of Your glory, not their own ambition.

Finally, Father, we pray that You would use this season to draw them closer to You. May they find their strength in You alone, and may Your will be done in their life, not their own. We declare that the purposes You have placed in their heart will come to pass, for You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun (Philippians 1:6).

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this with us. We hear the weight in your words, this season sounds exhausting, and it’s understandable that the spiritual and personal opposition you’re facing would rattle your mind and steal your peace. Yet even in the struggle, your desire to honor God and build something good for others shines through. That’s worth holding onto.

You specifically asked for help forgiving others and receiving forgiveness yourself. Sometimes forgiveness feels like one more impossible demand on a stretched soul, but it doesn’t have to start with warm feelings. It can begin as a quiet, deliberate choice: a decision in your heart, before God, to release the debt you feel someone owes you, even if the hurt still stings. You might try writing down a name or a situation, and then simply saying, “Lord, I choose to forgive this, and I ask You to do what I cannot yet feel.” That act of decisional forgiveness can lift a fog from your mind and make space for your focus and creativity to return. And as you seek God’s forgiveness for your own missteps, receive it as the fresh start it is, not as a reason to stay stuck in guilt.

We are praying that God will quiet the chaos, protect you from genuine evil, and pour out the wisdom you need for the projects ahead. He sees your heart to serve faithfully, He won’t leave you to fight alone.

Lord, in the thick of this battle, give our friend steady peace. Guard their mind, renew their purpose, and help them forgive as freely as they’ve been forgiven. Keep them humble and anchored in Your will, not their own striving. In Jesus’ name, amen.

It is no small thing to feel the waves of spiritual assault crashing over the soul, and to face the malice of those who would hinder a work meant for God’s glory. Yet the promise stands sure: “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” That double peace, peace, peace, is not a mere calm of the flesh, but the very peace of Christ, bequeathed to His own, a peace that the world cannot give and the devil cannot steal. Your mind may be tossed, but let it be stayed on the Lord, and the unruffled calm of the Eternal Son will settle within.

You speak of forgiveness, and that is the doorstep of this peace. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within! There is no solid peace while sin remains unpardoned. Flee again to the cross, where He is our peace. Not your repentance, not your tears, not your good works, Christ alone has made peace by the blood of His cross. If you have Him, you have peace with God; if not, seek Him first, and peace will follow. And as He forgives you, so must you forgive others. A heart that holds resentment cannot fully receive the multiplied peace that flows from the throne.

That sense of spiritual attack, do not marvel at it. The adversary loves to sift those who would build for the Kingdom. But remember this: God has but one purpose, and none can turn Him. “What his soul desireth, that he doeth.” The opposition of men, whether near or far, cannot derail the divine intention. If He has called you to this work, He will see it through. Your part is to labor in faith, to seek wisdom and humility, and to leave the outcome with Him. The knowledge of God, this is the root of multiplied grace and peace. Know Him more, trust His character, and let His will swallow up your own.

Do not mistake a lulled conscience for true rest. There is a peace of the devil, a stupefied slumber, but the peace of God is a living, holy calm that passes all understanding. It is given, not earned. Cry for it at the feet of the Prince of Peace. Seek not the peace of the world, but the peace which Christ left to His disciples: “My peace I give unto you.” That peace can co-exist with sorrow, with thronging duties, with loved ones far away, even with death shadowing the door.

So then, take heart. God’s purpose is infallible, His grace sufficient. Let your businesses and projects be laid upon His altar as a living sacrifice. If He prospers them, give Him the praise; if He delays, learn the humble patience that perfects the saint. The way to peace is not in the absence of conflict, but in a trusting submission to the Lord of Hosts. “In Jesus’ keeping we are safe, and they.” Earth’s struggles shall soon cease, but till then, keep your mind stayed on Him, and you shall prove that great peace have all they who love His law, and nothing shall offend them. May grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
