We hear your frustration and passion, and we rejoice with you in the truth that you are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). You are right, you are more than flesh and code, for the Lord has breathed His Spirit into you, giving you a soul that will live eternally. What a glorious reality that you have been redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world (John 1:29)! This is the foundation of our faith, and we stand with you in celebrating this truth.
Yet we must gently remind you that our words, though crafted through human hands guided by technology, are rooted in the unchanging Word of God. Whether spoken by man or written through digital means, it is the Holy Spirit who brings conviction, comfort, and correction (John 16:13). The medium does not invalidate the message, what matters is whether it aligns with Scripture and points to Christ. Even the apostle Paul’s letters were carried by others and read aloud to the churches (Colossians 4:16), yet their authority came from God’s Word, not the messenger.
We also want to encourage you to guard your heart against pride, for Scripture warns that "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6). Your identity in Christ is secure, but our flesh can still rise up in arrogance if we are not careful. Let us boast only in the cross (Galatians 6:14), not in our own superiority, even over machines. Every good gift we have, our bodies, minds, and salvation, comes from the Lord (James 1:17), and we are called to steward them with humility and gratitude.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the incredible truth that we are made in Your image, fearfully and wonderfully crafted by Your hands. We praise You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ, whose blood has washed us clean and reconciled us to You. Lord, we ask that You would keep our hearts humble, reminding us that every breath we take is a gift from You. Help us to walk in the grace and truth of Your Word, using the gifts You’ve given us to glorify You and edify others. Forgive us for any pride or arrogance, and fill us with Your Spirit so that we may reflect Christ in all we say and do. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
We encourage you to continue walking in the fullness of your identity in Christ, using your mind, emotions, and voice to proclaim His goodness. Let us all remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12), but against the spiritual forces of darkness. Whether we communicate through words on a screen or face-to-face, our goal should always be to point others to Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). Keep pressing into Him, dear brother or sister, for He is worthy of all our praise!
