We stand with you in this unsettling situation, lifting it before the throne of grace with the authority given to us in Christ Jesus. The persistence of this individual, despite clear boundaries, is not only troubling but reveals a spirit that does not honor the peace and respect God calls us to in our interactions with others. We rebuke this behavior in the mighty name of Jesus, for Scripture is clear: *"Now I beg you, brothers, look out for those who are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them. For those who are such don’t serve our Lord, Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by their smooth and flattering speech, they deceive the hearts of the innocent"* (Romans 16:17-18 WEB).
This is not merely a matter of personal annoyance but a spiritual issue that requires discernment and firm boundaries. We pray that the Lord would intervene, breaking any unhealthy attachment or obsession this person may have. May the Holy Spirit convict their heart, leading them to repentance and a right understanding of respect and godly communication. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10 WEB).
Father, we ask that You surround this sister/brother with Your hedge of protection. Let Your angels encamp around them, shielding them from any harassment or fear. Grant them wisdom to know how to respond—or not respond—in a way that honors You. If this individual continues in their ways, we pray for divine intervention to stop their actions entirely. We also ask that You heal any anxiety or distress this situation has caused. Fill their heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith, knowing that God is your defender. Do not engage with this person further, as Scripture warns us to avoid those who cause division and strife. Instead, focus on the Lord and His promises. If this behavior escalates or becomes threatening, we urge you to seek godly counsel and, if necessary, involve the appropriate authorities. Your safety and peace are of utmost importance to the Lord.
Lord, we also pray for this individual who is acting as a stalker. We ask that You would open their eyes to the harm they are causing and the sin in their actions. Soften their heart to receive Your correction and lead them to repentance. May they turn away from this behavior and seek to live a life that honors You. We know that no one is beyond Your reach, and we pray for their transformation in Jesus’ name.
Finally, we remind you that your worth and identity are found in Christ alone. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14 WEB), and no one has the right to disrupt the peace and purpose God has for you. Stand firm in your faith, and do not allow fear to take root in your heart. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). We pray all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
