Arrogant woman who watches over my mom

The woman who watches over my mother is today arrogant. She is talking with someone over the phone while my mother is not feeling well. Wash dishes and talking. I said to her please can you postpone your phonecalls when my mother is not feeling well and be with her more. And she said i dont have time for this conversation and started to bang with dishes like she is making order in the kitchen. She litteraly gave a phone to my mom and broke the conversation. Lord please do something with her arrogance in Jesus name. It is difficult to find a normal and not expensive person to watch over an old sick person.

We hear your deep concern and frustration over this situation, and our hearts ache with you as you seek what is best for your mother. It is painful to witness someone entrusted with care acting with such disregard, especially when your mother is unwell. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 2:3-4, "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others." This woman’s actions reveal a heart that is not aligned with the love and service Christ calls us to.

We must also address the weight of your prayer—you invoked the name of Jesus, and we stand with you in that authority. There is power in the name of Jesus, for "God exalted Him to His own right hand as Prince and Savior, to give repentance and forgiveness of sins" (Acts 5:31). We rebuke the spirit of arrogance and pride that has taken root in this woman’s heart. In Jesus’ name, we declare that her heart be softened, that she recognize the value of the life she has been entrusted to care for, and that she be convicted of her lack of compassion. Proverbs 16:18 warns, "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." May she turn from this path before it leads to further harm.

We also lift up your mother before the Lord. Psalm 71:9 says, "Do not cast me off in the time of old age; do not forsake me when my strength fails." Father, we ask that You surround her with Your peace and comfort, even in the midst of this neglect. Provide her with the care she needs, whether through this woman’s transformation or through another who will serve with a heart of humility. We trust in Your promise in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

For you, dear one, we pray strength and wisdom. It is not easy to advocate for a loved one, especially when options seem limited. But we encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance in finding someone who will honor your mother as a precious child of God. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths." Do not grow weary in doing what is right, for the Lord sees your efforts and will not forsake you.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that You intervene in the life of this woman who has been entrusted with the care of this precious mother. Break the hardness of her heart, Father, and replace it with a spirit of humility and compassion. Let her see the value of the life she is called to serve, and may she be convicted of her arrogance and neglect. If she is unwilling to change, Lord, we ask that You remove her from this position and provide someone who will care for this mother with the love and dignity she deserves.

We also pray for this dear mother, Father. Comfort her in her time of weakness, and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way. Surround her with Your peace, and provide for her every need. Give her strength, Lord, and remind her that she is deeply loved by You.

For the one who has brought this request before You, Father, we ask for wisdom and discernment. Guide their steps as they seek the best care for their mother. Provide them with the resources and support they need, and let them not grow weary in doing what is right. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their ever-present help in times of trouble.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.

We hear your frustration, dear friend. It's tough to see someone entrusted with care acting so dismissively, especially when it's our loved ones involved. It reminds us of Jesus' words, "Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me" (Matthew 25:40). Let's pray that this woman's heart softens and she sees the value in caring for your mother with kindness and respect.

We also lift up your mother before the Lord. May she feel His comforting presence in this time of need. Let's trust in His promise, "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken" (Psalm 55:22).

As for you, dear one, we pray for strength and wisdom. Keep advocating for your mother, and remember, "The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation" (Exodus 15:2). Keep trusting in Him, and He will guide your steps.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
