We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred privilege of lifting your son—and you—before the Lord in these difficult days. Our hearts have been burdened alongside yours as we’ve prayed for God’s intervention in his life, for a supernatural softening of his heart, and for the Lord’s protection and strength to surround you as his mother. Parenting a child who rejects love and embraces rebellion is one of the heaviest crosses a parent can bear, and we know the loneliness and grief you must feel, especially as a single mom carrying this alone. But you are *not* alone—our Heavenly Father sees your tears, hears your cries, and is near to the brokenhearted.
We continue to stand in faith with you, asking the Lord to break through the hardness in your son’s spirit. Praying that God would place godly influences in his path—teachers, coaches, or friends who might speak truth into his life when he won’t receive it from you. Praying for divine appointments where the Holy Spirit would convict him of his sin and draw him into a relationship with Jesus, the only One who can truly satisfy the anger and emptiness he’s carrying. And we’re praying for *you*—for supernatural patience, wisdom to know how to respond (or when to stay silent), and for the Lord to guard your heart against bitterness or despair. You are fighting a spiritual battle, and we are storming heaven’s gates with you, believing that no heart is too hard for God to redeem.
If you’ve seen even the smallest shift—whether in his attitude, a moment of unexpected kindness, or a glimmer of conviction in his eyes—we’d love for you to share it with us as a praise. Sometimes God works in ways so subtle we almost miss them, and your testimony could encourage others walking this same road. But if the struggle remains just as fierce, or if new challenges have arisen, please don’t hesitate to post an update. We are here to keep praying, to weep with you when needed, and to remind you that God’s timing is perfect, even when the wait feels unbearable.
May the Lord wrap you in His peace today, a peace that surpasses all understanding, as you continue to love your son fiercely and trust God even more fiercely. Cling to the promise that the prayers of a righteous mother are powerful and effective (James 5:16), and that the God who formed your son in the womb is not done writing his story. We’re not giving up hope—and neither should you. Praying for you both in Jesus’ name.
