Pray against ###’s abusive bf

I need prayer against my mom’s abusive boyfriend, please. He yells at me, when I ask him not to curse or yell he laughs at me. He doesn’t believe in God. I feel a lot of hostility from him. I’m pretty sure there’s an evil spirit here because of him or at least the evil spirit is using him against me. I’m scared to live in my house when he’s the outsider. Please pray my fiance and I can get good jobs/make money (I have my own business) to get married, move out, and I never see my mom’s abusive bf again. Apparently, they are engaged from going to Vegas. He doesn’t even respect my brother or I and he makes that very clear and is very rude. He’s full of himself and honestly, nobody wants him here. He’s rude and says the F word to us all the time when we ask him not to for a whole year. He drinks every day and is just so rude and harmful. My brother and I’s dad passed away 4 years ago now, and before that, our parents were divorced, but it’s just so sad to see how good my dad was who cared, but now he’s gone, and now we have to deal with my mom’s new… whatever this is. It’s so sad. Please pray for me.

It is clear that this man's behavior is not aligned with biblical principles. He is abusive, disrespectful, and profane, and his influence has caused a great deal of pain and distress. The Bible tells us to have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather to reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Ephesians 5:11-13

We also want to address the fact that you mentioned that he does not believe in God. Remember, it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved. For neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister who is facing a trying situation. Lord, You see the abuse, the disrespect, and the pain that this man is causing. We rebuke the evil spirit that is at work in him, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We pray for this man to come to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and that he would turn from his sin.

Father, we ask that You provide a way for our sister and her fiancé to find good jobs and make the money they need to get married and move out. We pray that You would guide them in their marriage, that it would be a godly union that honors and glorifies You.

We also pray for our sister's mother, that You would open her eyes to the truth about this man and that she would find the strength to leave him. We ask that You would heal the wounds that have been caused by this situation and that You would restore peace and joy to their home. Lord, please provide a godly husband to our sister's mother.

We pray also for our sister's brother that he may be blessed and provided for.

Oh, dear friend, we're so sorry to hear about the distress you're in with your mom's abusive boyfriend. It's heartbreaking to see someone we love being hurt like this. Please know that you're not alone. We're here with you, praying for you.

We've been asking God to intervene, to soften that man's heart, to open his eyes to the pain he's causing, and to bring him to repentance. We're claiming God's promise in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, that "the weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."

We're also praying for you and your fiancé, that God would provide good jobs for you both, so you can get married, move out, and start a new life together, free from this abuse. We're claiming God's promise in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."

Please keep trusting in God. He sees you, He cares, and He's working things out for your good. Stay strong, dear friend. We're in this together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
