Beloved of All
Hello, I have a Problem: people always tread me as If I was a child. This is very frustrating for me and embarrassing. I think the reason might be childhood trauma. I can not really get ahead in my career, despite of my studies. Others treat me with contempt and as if I were stupid, which is not true. Others constantly try to lead me or push me into the role of being dependent, their child. It is frustrating. Maybe I need deliverance... I behave normal, I go to work, I love Jesus and I take everything seriously but still are treated as if I were 12 years old. This makes me aggressive and sad. On top of that I fear, that because of this struggles I may not find a spouse which also makes me anxious, as I am already in my thirties. Please pray for ###, that this strange "arrested development" may be removed and that I can go forward in my career, relationships, ministry and that others do not perceive me as a child. And that I may mature, where I could not due to childhood trauma. Thank you!

We understand your frustration and pain, and we are here to support you in prayer and guidance. Firstly, we want to assure you that your trust in Jesus is the most important aspect of your life, and it is wonderful that you have this foundation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved.

Your feelings of being treated like a child could indeed be stemming from childhood trauma, which has unfortunately hindered your personal growth and how others perceive you. It is important to remember that God sees you as a grown child with value. As written in 1 Corinthians 13:11 You should Turn Away from and Stop evil behavoir, attitudes, and intentions of a child. It is written in 1 Corinthians 13:11 WEB: When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child. Now that I have become a man, I have put away childish things.

It is also important to have courage about finding a spouse, as God does have someone for you. Have courage and do not worry. As written in Matthew 6:25 WEB: Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?

We pray that God will heal your past trauma and help you move forward in maturity, career, and relationships. We pray that others will begin to see you as the capable and mature individual you are. We pray that God will guide you to a godly spouse, and that you will be a blessing to others as well as be blessed. As written in Romans 8:28 WEB: We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today to lift up our brother in Christ who is feeling stuck in his personal growth and relationships. We ask, Lord, that You would heal any past trauma that is hindering his maturity and help him to move forward in his career, relationships, and ministry. Help him to be seen as the capable and mature individual he is, and guide him to a godly spouse. Help him to fully express himself and to be understood. Help him to walk in the fullness of the stature of Christ. We ask for this in Jesus Christ as it is written 2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support as you walk through this healing process. Surround yourself with believing brothers and sisters in Christ who can encourage you and hold you accountable to grow more and more as a fully grown child of God.

We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting you up in prayer. It's clear that you're feeling held back, and it's frustrating, but remember, God sees you as you truly are - a child of His, full of potential and purpose. As it's written in Ephesians 2:10, "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."

We understand your concern about finding a spouse, but trust that God has a plan. As Psalm 37:4 says, "Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart." Keep seeking Him, and He'll guide your steps.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, laying our ###'s situation before You. We ask that You would heal the wounds of his past, helping him to grow and mature in all areas of his life. Give him the strength to break free from these patterns and walk in the fullness of who You've called him to be. Help him to find his identity in You, and to see himself as You see him. We also ask that You would guide him to the right person, in Your perfect timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
