Armor of God Eph 6:10-20, Ourselves, Our Families, Leaders, Pastors, Evangelists, Churches, Ministry Partners, All Believers; Even Government, EVEN "ENEMIES" (Enemies are Opportunities to Show our LOVE for Jesus by praying for their salvation, 2 Tim 2:25-26) -- Utterance to Proclaim Mystery of Gospel Boldly, Eph 6:18-19... Father, thank You for The Word and Holy Spirit that instruct us, 2 Tim 3:15-17, John 14:26, so we may not be unaware of the enemy's methods, 2 Cor 2:11. We do submit to You as the church Jesus said the gates of hell cannot stand against, Matt 16:18, and resist the devil, James 4:7, resist him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8, (Faith in Jesus AND the Authority of His Name, John 14:13-14, Mk 16:15-17, His Word, Matt 24:35, Lk 21:33, and His Position, Matt 28:18, Phil 2:9), so he will flee from us, James 4:7.

We do take the same advice as the other two Apostles, resist AND take up Your Armor and stand against, stand, stand firm against the schemes of darkness, by faith and patience we inherit the promises, Heb 6:12. We pray it over ourselves first, in submission to Your Word, even as it was the proper example and pattern of Christ, overcoming the devil first on for His own sake in the wilderness, Mt 4:1-11, Mk 1:12-13, Lk 4:1-13, then overcoming the world, flesh and devil for the sake of the world, John 16:33.

Knowing it's proper in airplane trips to be admonished to first place the oxygen mask over our own faces prior to assisting others, we pray the following Armor, Your Armor, The Armor of God, on ourselves, Eph 6:10-17, then for others, Eph 6:18-20, applied by faith, as we receive everything else in the same manner, from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, James 1:6...

“Finally, brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of The Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for the church, that utterance may be given to Your people, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which some are ambassadors in chains; that all may speak boldly, as is fitting to speak," Eph‬ ‭6:11-20‬, thank You in Jesus' Name, Heb 11:6.

We join you in this powerful and scriptural prayer and we stand in full agreement with you for the putting on of the whole armor of God over ourselves first and then over our families, leaders, pastors, evangelists, churches, ministry partners, all believers, and even over government and over those who consider themselves our enemies.

We thank God for your heart that understands we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Eph 6:12. Your understanding that we must first submit ourselves to God and then resist the devil is entirely biblical, for it is written submit therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you, James 4:7, and be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, 1 Pet 5:8-9.

We love that you have included even enemies, for this is the heart of Christ who said love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, Matt 5:44, and who calls us to pray that God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may recover themselves out of the devil's snare, 2 Tim 2:25-26. We also agree in praying for all who are in high places, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence, 1 Tim 2:1-2.

We see the wisdom you shared about first putting the oxygen mask on ourselves, just as our Lord Jesus Himself when He was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil, answered each temptation with It is written, Matt 4:4, Matt 4:7, Matt 4:10, showing us the pattern of overcoming by the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, Eph 6:17. And having overcome for Himself, He then says Take courage I have overcome the world, John 16:33. We too must first be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might, Eph 6:10, before we can effectively stand in the gap for others with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, Eph 6:18.

We pray together now in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and whatever we ask in His name He will do, John 14:13-14.

Father, in Jesus' name we thank You for Your Word and for Your Holy Spirit who teaches us all things, John 14:26, and makes us not ignorant of Satan's devices, 2 Cor 2:11. We thank You that all Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, 2 Tim 3:16. We submit ourselves to You now and we take up Your whole armor by faith, for by grace we have been saved through faith, Eph 2:8, and without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to You, Heb 11:6.

We gird our waists with truth, for Your word is truth, John 17:17, and Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, John 14:6. We put on the breastplate of righteousness, for we are made the righteousness of God in Christ, 2 Cor 5:21. We shod our feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, Rom 10:15, that we may be ready to proclaim it. Above all we take up the shield of faith, with which we will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one, Eph 6:16, for this is the victory that has overcome the world, our faith, 1 John 5:4. We take the helmet of salvation, for You have given us salvation and we have the mind of Christ, 1 Cor 2:16. And we take the sword of the Spirit, which is Your word, Eph 6:17, which is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, Heb 4:12.

We pray this armor now not only over ourselves but over our families, over every pastor and evangelist, over every true church and ministry partner, over all the saints, and over our leaders in government. We pray that utterance may be given to us and to all Your people to open our mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Good News, Eph 6:19, for which we are ambassadors. We pray that we may stand having done all, to stand, Eph 6:13, and that by faith and patience we may inherit Your promises, Heb 6:12, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 2 Cor 10:4.

We thank You Father that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4, and that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, Phil 2:9-11. We ask all this in the authority of that name, believing we receive, Mark 11:24. Amen.

Thank you for taking time to lift up so many before the Lord. We can hear your desire to be faithful first in your own walk and then to carry others with you, from family and pastors to leaders and even those who oppose the gospel. That oxygen mask picture you used is a helpful reminder.

We join you in asking for strength to stand firm day by day. Putting on the armor is not a one time moment but a daily training of the heart, like learning to walk steadily over time. We appreciate your heart to pray even for enemies, that they might come to know Jesus, and for boldness to speak the gospel clearly.

A practical way to stay rooted in this might be to pray through one part of the armor each morning this week with your family or a trusted believer, briefly and honestly, and then extend those same prayers to the others on your list. Keeping it simple and consistent often helps it endure.

Father, we come to You through Jesus and thank You for Your protection and truth. Cover each person mentioned here, strengthen their faith, guard their hearts, and give them courage to speak Your good news with love and clarity. Help us all to watch and persevere in prayer for one another. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
