Armor of God Eph 6:10-20, Ourselves, Our Families, Leaders, Pastors, Evangelists, Churches, Ministry Partners, All Believers; Even Government, EVEN "ENEMIES" (Enemies are Opportunities to Show our LOVE for Jesus by praying for their salvation, 2 Tim 2:25-26) -- Utterance to Proclaim Mystery of Gospel Boldly, Eph 6:18-19... Father, thank You for The Word and Holy Spirit that instruct us, 2 Tim 3:15-17, John 14:26, so we may not be unaware of the enemy's methods, 2 Cor 2:11. We do submit to You as the church Jesus said the gates of hell cannot stand against, Matt 16:18, and resist the devil, James 4:7, resist him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8, (Faith in Jesus AND the Authority of His Name, John 14:13-14, Mk 16:15-17, His Word, Matt 24:35, Lk 21:33, and His Position, Matt 28:18, Phil 2:9), so he will flee from us, James 4:7.

We do take the same advice as the other two Apostles, resist AND take up Your Armor and stand against, stand, stand firm against the schemes of darkness, by faith and patience we inherit the promises, Heb 6:12. We pray it over ourselves first, in submission to Your Word, even as it was the proper example and pattern of Christ, overcoming the devil first on for His own sake in the wilderness, Mt 4:1-11, Mk 1:12-13, Lk 4:1-13, then overcoming the world, flesh and devil for the sake of the world, John 16:33.

Knowing it's proper in airplane trips to be admonished to first place the oxygen mask over our own faces prior to assisting others, we pray the following Armor, Your Armor, The Armor of God, on ourselves, Eph 6:10-17, then for others, Eph 6:18-20, applied by faith, as we receive everything else in the same manner, from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, James 1:6...

“Finally, brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of The Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for the church, that utterance may be given to Your people, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which some are ambassadors in chains; that all may speak boldly, as is fitting to speak," Eph‬ ‭6:11-20‬, thank You in Jesus' Name, Heb 11:6.

We join with you in this mighty prayer for the whole armor of God and we say amen to your heart to first put it on ourselves and then to intercede for others.

We love how you have reminded us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Eph 6:12, and that we are not to be ignorant of Satan's devices, 2 Cor 2:11. The Word and the Holy Spirit indeed teach us and bring to remembrance all that Jesus has said, John 14:26, and all Scripture is God breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, 2 Tim 3:16, so that we may be complete and equipped.

We agree that the pattern is first to submit ourselves to God, to resist the devil firmly in the faith and he will flee from us, James 4:7, 1 Pet 5:9, and then having done all to stand, Eph 6:13. Just as our Lord Jesus overcame the tempter in the wilderness with it is written, Matt 4:4, Matt 4:7, Matt 4:10, and then declared that He has overcome the world, John 16:33, so we by faith and patience inherit the promises, Heb 6:12. We receive the armor by faith just as we receive salvation by grace through faith, Eph 2:8, and we must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who seek Him, Heb 11:6, asking without doubting, James 1:6, believing that we receive when we pray, Mark 11:24.

We pray together now in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12.

Father, in Jesus' name we put on Your whole armor. We gird our waists with truth, for You desire truth in the inward parts, Psalm 51:6, and Your word is truth, John 17:17. We put on the breastplate of righteousness, for we have been made the righteousness of God in Christ, 2 Cor 5:21, and we seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, Matt 6:33. We shod our feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, Rom 10:15, Isaiah 52:7, ready always to share the reason for the hope that is in us, 1 Pet 3:15. Above all we take up the shield of faith by which we quench all the fiery darts of the evil one, Eph 6:16, for the righteous live by faith, Rom 1:17. We take the helmet of salvation, 1 Thess 5:8, for You have saved us and called us with a holy calling, 2 Tim 1:9. And we take the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word, Eph 6:17, which is living and active and sharper than any two edged sword, Heb 4:12.

We pray this armor over ourselves first, then over our families, over leaders, pastors, evangelists, churches and ministry partners, and over all believers, and we pray it even over those in government, for You command us to make supplications, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence, 1 Tim 2:1-2. We also lift up even our enemies before You, for You tell us to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, do good to those who hate us, and pray for those who mistreat us, Matt 5:44, Luke 6:27-28, that You may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, 2 Tim 2:25-26.

We pray with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, watching with all perseverance for all the saints, Eph 6:18, and we ask for utterance to be given to us and to all Your people, that we may open our mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Good News, Eph 6:19, for which we are ambassadors, 2 Cor 5:20, that we may speak as we ought to speak, Col 4:4. Let us be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might, Eph 6:10, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4, and we know the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church, Matt 16:18.

We thank You Father that when we submit to You and resist the enemy in the authority of the name of Jesus, Phil 2:9-10, John 14:13-14, and in the authority You have given us to go into all the world and preach the Good News, Mark 16:15, and because all authority has been given to Jesus in heaven and on earth, Matt 28:18, the enemy must flee. Your Word will never pass away, Matt 24:35, Luke 21:33, and we stand firm upon it.

We encourage you to continue daily to put on this armor by faith, to stay in the Word, to pray without ceasing, 1 Thess 5:17, and to stand firm, having done all to stand, Eph 6:13-14. Let us keep praying for one another with perseverance, for the earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results, James 5:16. We stand with you in Jesus' name.

We appreciate the way you have lifted so many before the Lord, starting with yourselves and your families and reaching all the way to leaders, churches, ministry partners and even those who oppose the gospel. That breadth shows a big heart for God's work.

We love that you pictured putting the oxygen mask on first. It is a good reminder that staying rooted ourselves helps us stand with others more faithfully. The armor is not a one time phrase but a daily way of walking with Jesus, letting truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation and His Word become part of how we live and pray. Like training for a long race, small faithful steps over time shape us more than trying harder for a moment.

We are joining you in this and standing with you as you keep praying for utterance and boldness for all who share the gospel.

Father, we thank You for this brother or sister and their care for Your people. Strengthen them and their household today, guard their hearts and minds in Christ, and give them clear voice to speak Your truth in love. Encourage the pastors and churches they named, give wisdom to leaders, and draw even those who are far off to know Jesus. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

There is great wisdom and holy earnestness in your prayer, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

You have done well to take hold of God Himself and not merely of a creed or a form, for the soul that would stand in the evil day must lay hold upon the Truth of God by the teaching of the Spirit of God in the heart. Not content with searching the Word alone, you have taken what you find there to God in prayer, and this is the way of faith. We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers and spiritual wickedness in high places, and therefore our strength must be in the Lord and in the power of His might.

We pray with you that you and your household, and all the saints, may put on the whole armor of God and having done all, to stand. May your loins be girt about with truth, for every word of the Gospel is backed by the authority of the King eternal, immortal, invisible. May you wear the breastplate of righteousness, not your own, but that righteousness which Christ has wrought and which faith receives. May your feet be shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace, ready to run upon the hills and into the valleys, for He is the God of the hills and the God of the valleys also, and there is no place where His Gospel should not be proclaimed. Above all take the shield of faith wherewith you shall quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one, and the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. We ask that God may peradventure give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth, that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil. For we who were once far off are now made heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, not by creation nor by blood nor by the will of man, but by being born of God through faith in His Son, and what grace has done for us it can do for the greatest offender.

And for utterance, that the mystery of the Gospel may be made known with boldness, we entreat the Lord with you. Listening to the Gospel is solemn work, for though the voice be that of man, the truth is of God, and the Messenger of the Covenant Himself speaks to us by His Spirit. May He open the mouths of His ambassadors, though some be as in chains, to speak as they ought to speak, with the anointing of the Holy One, not in the willow like weakness of the age, but with the backbone of men of God who have taken hold of God and cannot be shaken by opposition or persecution.

May the Lord hear you, teach you His statutes, and cause you to declare His ways with a true heart. May you be strong in faith and patience to inherit the promises, standing fast in the liberty wherewith Christ has made you free, until the gates of hell shall not prevail against His church, and the Word and the Spirit shall accomplish all His good pleasure.
