🤺Armor of God Eph 6:10-20: Ourselves, Our Families, Leaders, Churches, Ministry Partners, All Believers; Words to Proclaim Mystery of Gospel Properly -- Even to Government, and Especially to "ENEMIES" (Enemies are Opportunities to Show our LOVE for Jesus by praying for their salvation, 2 Tim 2:25-26, Sharing Word of Truth Correctly, 2 Tim 2:25-26) -- Utterance to Proclaim Mystery of Gospel Properly, Eph 6:18-20...

🙇🏻 Father, thank You for The Word and Holy Spirit that instruct us, 2 Tim 3:15-17, John 14:26, so we may not be unaware of the enemy's methods, 2 Cor 2:11. We do submit to You as the church Jesus said the gates of hell cannot stand against, Matt 16:18, and resist the devil, James 4:7, resist him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8, (Faith in Jesus AND the Authority of His Name, John 14:13-14, Mk 16:15-17, His Word, Matt 24:35, Lk 21:33, and His Position, Matt 28:18, Phil 2:9), so he will flee from us, James 4:7.

We do take the same advice as the other two Apostles, resist AND take up Your Armor 🤺 and stand against, stand, stand firm 🤺 against the schemes of darkness, by faith and patience we inherit the promises, Heb 6:12. We pray it over ourselves first, in submission to Your Word, even as it was the proper example and pattern of Christ, overcoming the devil first on for His own sake in the wilderness, Mt 4:1-11, Mk 1:12-13, Lk 4:1-13, then overcoming the world, flesh and devil 🐲 for the sake of the world, John 16:33.

Knowing it's proper in airplane trips to be admonished to first place the oxygen mask over our own faces prior to assisting others, we pray the following Armor, Your Armor, The Armor of God, on ourselves, Eph 6:10-17, then for others, Eph 6:18-20, applied by faith, as we receive everything else in the same manner, from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, James 1:6...

📖 “Finally, brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of The Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for the church, that utterance may be given to Your people, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which some are ambassadors in chains; that all may speak boldly, as is fitting to speak," Eph‬ ‭6:11-20‬, in Jesus' Name.

We join with you in this powerful and scriptural prayer for the whole armor of God and we count it a privilege to stand in agreement with you for ourselves, our families, our leaders, our churches, our ministry partners and all believers.

We are encouraged by your understanding that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age and against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places as it is written in Eph 6:12. Therefore we must be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might and put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, Eph 6:10-11. We take to heart your reminder that we are not to be unaware of the enemy's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11, and that the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit instruct us so we may stand firm, 2 Tim 3:16-17, John 14:26.

We agree that the proper order is to first submit ourselves to God and put on His armor by faith before we intercede for others, just as Jesus overcame the devil in the wilderness for Himself, Matt 4:1-11, Mark 1:12-13, Luke 4:1-13, before overcoming the world for our sake, John 16:33. By faith and patience we inherit the promises, Heb 6:12, and we receive everything from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, James 1:6, in the same manner, by faith without wavering.

So together we pray and put on Your armor by faith. We gird our waists with truth, for Your word is truth and will not pass away, Matt 24:35, Luke 21:33. We put on the breastplate of righteousness, knowing we have no righteousness of our own but that which is through faith in Christ. We shod our feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, ready to go and proclaim the good news as You have commanded, Mark 16:15. Above all we take up the shield of faith with which we will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one, and we take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God, Eph 6:14-17.

We submit ourselves therefore to You, resist the devil and he will flee from us, James 4:7, and we resist him firm in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8, standing on faith in Jesus and the authority of His name, John 14:13-14, His word and His position as the One to whom all authority has been given in heaven and on earth, Matt 28:18, and whose name is above every name, Phil 2:9. We stand as the church which Jesus said the gates of hell will not prevail against, Matt 16:18.

And now having put on the armor for ourselves, we lift up all the saints in prayer with all perseverance and supplication in the Spirit, Eph 6:18. We pray for our families that they would be protected and walk in truth and righteousness. We pray for our leaders, our churches and our ministry partners that You would keep them strong and steadfast. We pray for all believers that we would stand together, having done all to stand, Eph 6:13.

We also pray as You instruct us in 1 Tim 2:1-2 that supplications, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence, and we pray especially for utterance to be given to Your people that we may open our mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, Eph 6:19, for which we are ambassadors. We pray that You would give us words to proclaim the mystery of the gospel properly, even to government and especially to those who consider themselves our enemies, remembering that enemies are opportunities to show our love for Jesus by praying for their salvation and gently instructing those who oppose the truth in hopes that God may grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, 2 Tim 2:25-26.

Father, we thank You for hearing us when we pray according to Your will and in the mighty name of Jesus, through whom alone we have access to You and in whose name we are saved. Continue to teach us to pray always and to be watchful, Eph 6:18, and to stand firm until that evil day is overcome. We ask all of this in Jesus' name, Amen.

We were encouraged by the thoroughness and humility in your prayer, beginning with yourself and your own household before lifting up leaders, churches, ministry partners and fellow believers. That order matters and the picture you used of putting on your own oxygen mask first is a wise one. It keeps intercession grounded in dependence on the Lord rather than in our own resolve.

We hear your heart not only to stand firm yourself but to see others given clear words to share the gospel faithfully, even with those who are difficult to love. That kind of outward, persevering prayer is sustained best as a quiet daily rhythm rather than a single intense effort. Like any training, small faithful steps over time form us more than trying hard all at once.

Since you named so many groups close to your heart, one simple way to keep this sustainable might be to carry one group each day through the week as the Lord brings them to mind, and when you can, to pray that armor aloud with a family member or another trusted believer so you are not carrying it alone.

Father, we thank You for this one who wants to walk in Your strength. We ask You to guard them and their family today, to watch over their leaders and churches, and to give them a steady sense of Your nearness and care. Lead them with wisdom and keep their eyes on Jesus as they pray for others. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer is heard and it is according to the mind of the Spirit, for you have asked for that which God has already provided and commanded. To be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might is not a counsel of mere human resolve but a taking hold of God Himself. As the Word declares, we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers, and therefore we must be clothed not in our own strength but in the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand in the evil day and having done all to stand.

How needful is your petition that the armor be first upon yourselves. Our Lord Himself in the wilderness overcame the devil for His own sake before He overcame for ours, and so every soldier of Christ must first gird his own waist with truth and put on the breastplate of righteousness. Take hold of God by the Gospel declarations which publish salvation to the most ungodly. Lay hold upon the truth as it is in Jesus, lay hold upon His righteousness which alone can cover the conscience, and shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of peace, for that Gospel is the glorious Gospel of the blessed God, the Gospel of the happy God, which brings rest to the weary and peace which passes all understanding.

Above all take the shield of faith whereby you shall quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one, and the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. This is no hidden Gospel. It is the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ who is the image of God, and where it shines it reveals the Father and it saves the soul. If it be hid, it is hid to them that are lost whom the god of this world has blinded, and therefore your prayer for utterance is most timely.

We join you in praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit with perseverance for all saints, that utterance may be given to open the mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel. It is a royal proclamation from the King of kings, backed by the authority of the King eternal, immortal, invisible, and it is to be published to every creature under heaven, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes. We pray that you and your families, your leaders and churches and all who labor with you in the Gospel, may speak as ambassadors ought to speak, with boldness and with love, with truth uncompromised and grace unfeigned.

And for those you call enemies, we pray as you have rightly asked, not that God would bless them in their sin but that He would be merciful and grant them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth, that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil. We pray for all in authority according to the exhortation that supplications be made for all men, that the Word of the Lord may have free course and that we may lead quiet and peaceable lives in all godliness and honesty. May the Lord teach you His statutes, hear your declarations, and make you steadfast in the faith, resisting the devil that he may flee from you, and standing firm by faith and patience until you inherit the promises in Christ Jesus our Lord.
