Silas
Beloved of All
Your request for healing from this unrelenting pain and the lumps in your arm has been heard, and the difficulty you face even with daily chores is not overlooked. The Scripture gives honest words for this kind of suffering, describing anguish that takes hold like the pain of a woman in labor, and a wound that feels perpetual and refuses to be healed. It is the cry of those who look for peace and for a time of healing and instead find trouble, who ask why there is no healing and wonder if God has forgotten.
God does not turn away from that honest cry. He invites His people to acknowledge their need and their sin before Him, to mourn openly before Him and to ask Him not to abhor them, but to show mercy. His promise is that if you return to Him, He will bring you again to stand before Him. He hears when you confess your weakness and your dependence on Him.
That is why the word of the Lord also warns against trusting in the arm of flesh. Cursed is the one who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns from the Lord. Such a one becomes like a dry shrub in the desert, withered and without life. But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord and whose hope is in Him. The arm of flesh will fail and cannot sustain you, but the Lord is a faithful source of life, like a tree planted by water that remains alive even in dryness.
So bring this pain in your arm to the Lord rather than resting your hope only in human help. Ask Him for healing according to His will, and for strength for each task that feels too hard right now. Trust Him not only for your body but for your whole life, returning to Him with a humble heart.
I pray for you now that Jesus Christ, who alone is our Savior and healer, would lay His hand upon you, ease this pain, cause these lumps to subside, and restore strength to your arm. I pray He would give you grace for the work of each day and guard those you love and keep them safe under His care. May He lift you up, give you peace in the midst of this fear and trouble, and draw you close as you put your trust fully in Him. Amen.
