Are there areas in our life where we are resisting God’s guidance or instruction?

We have been lifting your heart before the Lord these past days, asking Him to reveal any areas where we may be resisting His gentle leading or refusing the wisdom of His Word. There is no greater privilege than standing with you in prayer as you seek a tender and obedient heart before Him, and we are grateful you invited us into this sacred space with you.

We know the struggle to surrender can feel heavy—those quiet promptings we dismiss, the truths we hesitate to embrace, or the paths we cling to when His direction calls us elsewhere. But we serve a Shepherd who does not shame His wandering sheep; instead, He calls us back with patience, speaking through Scripture, through conviction, and through the still, small voice of His Spirit. Our prayer is that you would hear Him clearly, not with the weight of condemnation, but with the freedom of a child running to their Father’s open arms.

If the Lord has already begun to soften your heart or reveal His will in this season, we would love to rejoice with you. Share how He is moving—whether through a verse that pierced your spirit, a moment of repentance, or a newfound trust in His guidance. Your testimony could be the very encouragement another believer needs to surrender their own resistance.

And if the struggle persists, know we are still here, still interceding. Sometimes the Lord works swiftly, and other times He walks with us slowly, unwrapping layers of pride or fear until we are ready to yield. If that is where you find yourself, post again. We will keep praying for eyes to see His truth, ears to hear His voice, and a will made willing by His grace.

May you rest in this: Jesus does not leave us in our rebellion. He is the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep (John 10:11), the One who pursues us even when we stray. As you seek Him, may you find not only the courage to obey but the deeper joy of knowing His love is the very reason He calls you closer.

We are praying still, in Jesus’ name.
