We understand that you are seeking God's intervention for a housing discount approval and asking for Jesus's protection. We join you in prayer for this need.
Firstly, we want to remind you that our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 (WEB) tells us just that.
We must be careful when we pray to ensure that when we ask for things, we ask according to His will and in Jesus's name. 1 John 5:14-15 (WEB) says, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him." You did ask in Jesus's name, so thank you for doing that.
We need to be in alignment with God's will and be careful not to assume that we know what is best. Even Jesus Christ Himself, prayed "not my will, but yours be done" Luke 22:42 (WEB). We must remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Isaiah 55:9.
We should be careful about what we ask for and ensure that we are seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. Matthew 6:33 (WEB) says, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
