Disciple of Prayer
Heavenly Father I come to you and ask that you please let my application for this apartment gets approved for me and my kids as we embark on this new journey as we start over in Jesus name I pray amen

We hear your heartfelt plea and stand with you in prayer, lifting up your need for stable housing for you and your children as you begin this new chapter. The Bible assures us that the Lord is our provider and refuge, and we trust in His faithfulness to meet your needs according to His riches in glory.

First, we want to encourage you to place your full trust in God’s timing and plan. Philippians 4:19 reminds us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Even when circumstances seem uncertain, we can rest in the knowledge that God sees your situation and cares deeply for you and your children. Proverbs 3:5-6 urges us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We also want to gently remind you of the importance of seeking God’s will in all things, including the practical steps you take. While we pray for the approval of this apartment, we encourage you to remain open to God’s leading, even if it looks different from what you expect. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the Lord, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

Now, let us come before the Lord together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this dear sister and her children as they seek a new home. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who provides, and the God who opens doors that no man can shut. We ask that You would go before her in this application process, softening the hearts of those who will make this decision. If this apartment is Your will for her and her children, we pray that You would grant approval and make a way where there seems to be no way.

Father, we also ask that You would give her peace that surpasses all understanding as she waits. Help her to trust in Your timing and to lean not on her own understanding but on Your perfect plan. Provide for every need, emotional, financial, and spiritual, as she and her children embark on this new journey. Surround them with Your protection, Your provision, and Your love.

Lord, we pray that this new home would be a place of safety, stability, and blessing. May it be a sanctuary where Your presence is felt, where Your Word is honored, and where Your love is shared. Strengthen her faith as she steps forward in obedience to You, and let this transition be a testimony of Your faithfulness to all who witness it.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word as you navigate this season. Remember that God is not only concerned with your physical needs but also with your spiritual growth and well-being. If there are areas in your life where you feel led to surrender more fully to Him, we encourage you to do so, trusting that He will guide your steps. You are not alone, God is with you, and so are we in prayer.

We’re holding your apartment application up to the Lord with you. Starting over takes courage, and it’s natural to feel anxious while you wait, especially when your kids are counting on you. You’re not alone in this; God sees the details you can’t control.

In the meantime, don’t underestimate the help that’s already around you. If you haven’t already, consider reaching out to a local church or community resource center. A caring pastor or lay leader can often connect families with practical support during a move, help with a security deposit referral, furniture, or even just a few extra hands on moving day. Sometimes the body of Christ shows up in ways you’d never expect, simply because you asked.

We’re also grateful you’re looking ahead and asking for God’s provision in this fresh start. He is not surprised by your situation, and He cares deeply about the roof over your kids’ heads. While we wait, we trust that He goes before you, opening the right doors at the right time.

Father, we lift up this mom and her children. You know the apartment they need and the timing that is best. Grant favor with the application process and provide a safe, stable home. Calm their hearts as they wait, and surround them with practical help and peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You speak of embarking on a new journey, of starting over, and I would press upon your heart this certain truth from the Psalmist: "I shall be anointed with fresh oil." Not a hope, not a maybe, but a divine certainty for the child of God. The Lord has fresh provision stored up all along the wilderness way, fresh manna for each new morning, fresh grace for each new trial. This apartment, this new beginning, must be seen not as a single event to be gained or lost, but as one of those well-ordered intervals where fresh oil is poured out. If it be the Lord’s will, He will open the door, and no man can shut it. If He in His wisdom withholds, it is that He might anoint you with fresh oil right there in the waiting, and your family will wonder at what the grace of God can do for a poor, weak, trembling mortal. The practical point is not the approval itself, but this naked question, Do you belong to that whole family in Heaven and earth? For if you are in Christ, all things are yours.

Consider now the matter of the family. When Noah was bidden to enter the ark, the Covenant was that God would preserve him and his family alive. Yet Noah acted in perfect freedom, choosing to go into the ark. So must it be with you. The castle of Protestantism, the nutriment of family piety, is the practice of family prayer. You have asked in Jesus’ name, and that is well. But has there been a reformation in the household? A forgotten vow brings chastisement, and perhaps the rod has fallen. I would not have you neglect that family altar; let it be no dry exercise, but double your zeal there. Let the mother and the children mourn apart, every family apart, in confession before the Most High. For the family of the house of David must mourn apart, and the family of the house of Nathan apart. There must be a holy individuality in your seeking, a family set apart for God, even as you ask Him to set a roof apart for you.

The way may be hedged with thorns, and carking care may depress you till prayer feels hard. A thousand things bewilder the soul starting over. Yet let us not make our weakness an occasion for fresh folly, but ask to bear the rod and learn its lessons. Here you are, advancing into years with a grown family about you, and it is a happy circumstance indeed if the saved ones among you are as Noah and his sons and his wife entering the ark. Would you not arrange for family prayer if a sickness came from its neglect? Would you not have it if five pounds were given? How much more when the peace of your household and the smile of God are at stake? Let none of the errors and failures of understanding divide the family of God, but stand as one united household, laughing at the vain attempts to make breaches in the ranks of the one and indivisible family.

The family in Heaven and earth is still one undivided household, notwithstanding all the graves and all the uprootings. Your Savior wept over Jerusalem; have you no tears of dependence upon Him? Then draw near with sympathetic grief and with bold confidence. The man gathered his fresh manna in the morning and his family was satisfied. So shall you be anointed with fresh oil right to the end of this journey. The Covenant promise shall be fulfilled, but you must act in the freedom of faith, choosing to enter into whatever ark God provides, leaving the old houses behind to find a home in His will. Whether the answer be quick or delayed, you shall yet be transfigured in the presence of your family by the grace that keeps that which is committed unto Him against that great day.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When you ask the Father to approve an apartment for you and your children, ask first that He approve your hearts, for He entrusts His gospel only to those He has tested and found faithful. If you seek shelter from necessity, not to fulfill the lusts of the flesh, your request is holy. Make provision for the body for health, not for wantonness, and the God who feeds the sparrows will not despise the cry of His handmaid.

Yet remember: the present life is a sleep, and its comforts no more solid than dreams. If the door remains shut, do not count it an evil. A good man cannot suffer true evil. Tribulation works approval, as the furnace proved the three children: the flames were not quenched, but the Lord walked with them in the fire, and they came forth as gold. What is the loss of walls and roof to one who has learned not to sorrow for them that fall asleep? Should you lose all and still thank the God of love, you will receive a reward no less than Abraham offering his son.

Pray above all that your children may live orderly, growing old in virtue and becoming a joy to God. Where there is virtue, every other thing is superfluous. Seek first the kingdom, and the Father who knows your needs will add what is necessary. May He grant you a quiet habitation, that you may care for spiritual things, not pleasing men but God, and be entrusted with the true riches.

It takes courage to start over with your children, and I want you to know that your prayer reaches the heart of the One who cares deeply for you. The Lord watches over those who put their trust in Him, and He sees the need you have for a home where your family can be safe and settled. Think of how a mother hen gathers her chicks under her wings. That protective, tender concern is what your heavenly Father has for you and your kids. He is not distant or indifferent.

When Ruth set out with her mother-in-law toward a new life, she didn’t know what lay ahead. Yet God guided her steps, and she ended up in the field of Boaz, a place of provision and kindness. She was unaware of it at the time, but God was arranging every detail. As you step forward on this new journey, the same Lord is working behind the scenes. The approval of an apartment may seem like a small thing in the eyes of the world, but to a mother who needs a place for her children, it is a genuine human need. And Jesus always drew near to those with the greatest need.

There was a desperate mother who came to Jesus, and at first He seemed silent. Yet she would not give up. Her faith pressed through every barrier. It was a faith that conquered over every hesitation. Sometimes the answer does not come the way we expect or on our timetable, but persistent trust pleases God. Keep bringing this request before Him, not as a duty, but as a child talking to her Father. He does not need our offerings; He wants our fellowship and our love.

The family of God is meant to be a very real support. The Scriptures teach us to care for one another, especially those who are on their own. You are not alone in this. The bond we share in Christ can be closer than any natural tie when our own blood relatives are not walking with us. So reach out to those around you who follow Jesus. Let them know the need. There is no shame in asking for prayer and practical help, because we are all members of one body.

Over all the resources of this world, the Lord reigns. Both riches and honor come from Him. He can move the heart of a landlord or open a door that no one can shut. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the One who has power over every situation. As you wait, ask Him for strength and wisdom. May He quiet your heart with the assurance that He is working out His perfect plan, even in the meantime.
