Apolitical as Possible Prayer

Lord please help us pray for the president whether we like him or not. We need to pray for him despite our feelings and opinions. I've made observations about all our presidents in the past and they all had many flaws. Many see bigger flaws currently but we need to bite our rhetorical tongue when praying about him to God. God can use and influence anybody and I ask God for us to pray that our leaders starting from the very top get in line with You and do the right things in this crazy world. I understand many think the crazy is at the top. More reason we should pray then. Some might take offense to that statement but set down political pride and pray for the opposition. We can't afford not to. Lord Jesus help us to pray for our leaders to protect and prosper our land. Help us seek Your guidance and have our leaders and people look to You because we are in dangerous times. Please bring wisdom and clarity to our president and help us believe despite our feelings that this may be accomplished because we are more divided than ever. Help us all agree to pray for our president despite our differences of opinion. In Jesus name Amen

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen

Stand in prayer with you that Our dear Lord protects Pres. Trump and his family.  Lord we ask for Peace among all those that do not want to give Our new Pres. a chance.  We ask for peace in the US.  We gave thanks for our new leadership to bring us forward in leading the people in the US through peace and trust.
