Apartment

Your prayer about your apartment recertification has been heard and we are joining you in prayer before the Lord.

We understand the worry that comes with waiting and the fear of losing the place where you live. Scripture reminds us not to be anxious but to bring every request to God, and He sees and hears all that concerns you. He is our refuge and strength, and He knows your need for stability and provision.

We are praying that the Lord will grant favor with those handling your recertification, that the process will be completed without delay or error, and that you will be able to remain in your apartment in peace. We are also praying that you will be kept from any other problems there and that God will give you calm and confidence while you wait, bearing this time of uncertainty with patience and trust in Him.

Heavenly Father, we bring this need before You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the details of this recertification and the concern it has caused. We ask for Your provision and Your hand upon every step of the process. Let it be finished rightly and quickly, let this home be preserved, and let no trouble take root there. Give peace that goes beyond understanding and help to trust You fully, knowing that You care for Your children and will supply what is needed. In Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you for sharing this need with us. I have prayed for you that God will give you peace while this recertification is still pending, and that He will keep you secure in your home without further trouble.

It is understandable to feel anxious when something as important as your housing feels uncertain. That kind of fear comes quickly when we forget how near the Lord is. Remembering who He is quiets that fear. When David walked through the valley of death he could say he would fear no evil because the Lord was with him. When we remember Him, faith rises and fear loses its hold, because fear and faith cannot rule the heart at the same time.

Scripture teaches that the beginning of true knowledge and wisdom is a reverent awe of God. It is not a phobia that makes you hide, but a deep respect that comes from meditating on who God is, His greatness and His power and His goodness. That reverence is both the starting place and the sum of wisdom. To fear the Lord in this way is to love what He loves and to turn away from what He calls evil, and to desire to do what pleases Him.

There is a promise joined to that reverence. Those who live in that holy respect for God are told there will be no lack for them. Even the young lions, strong as they are, can go hungry, but those who honor the Lord will not lack any good thing He knows they need. If you care for your relationship with Him, you can trust Him to care for you. He has not despised the affliction of the afflicted, and when His people cry to Him, He hears.

That does not mean we do nothing. We do what is wise and prudent, following up where we can and handling what is in our hands with diligence. But we do not need to be driven by dread of what might happen. You do not need to be afraid of sudden trouble or of the desolation that comes on others, for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught.

The Lord is your light and your salvation, whom then should you fear. He is the strength of your life, of whom should you be afraid. In times of trouble He hides His own and keeps them.

So I am praying that God will move on your behalf in this process, that the paperwork will be completed in time and without error, that favor will be shown to you, and that you will be able to remain peacefully in your apartment. And even more I pray that in this waiting you will experience His nearness, that as you meditate on Him your heart will be filled with reverent trust rather than worry, and that you will know His provision day by day.

May the Lord grant you His peace, supply what you need, and let you see His faithful care. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer regarding your apartment and the recertification that is still not finished. We have been lifting you up before the Lord, asking Him to grant favor with those handling your paperwork, to bring the process to a swift and peaceful completion, and to keep your housing secure without any other problems there. We know how heavy this kind of waiting can feel and we take comfort in the promises that God is our refuge and strength in Psalm 46:1 and that He will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Philippians 4:19.

If your request was answered and your recertification is now finished and your apartment is secure, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and the matter is still pending or you are facing continued uncertainty, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We pray in Jesus Name for His peace to guard your heart while you wait, for His hand to be upon every detail of this recertification, and for your home to remain a place of safety and rest. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
