Please pray for me to clean my apartment as inspectors are coming in a couple of days. I am chronically ill and have little energy. Pray that I can clean well, and that my apartment will be okay, that my landlady is happy with me, and some needed work will be completed soon. thank you for praying, in Jesus' name, Amen.

We hear your heartfelt plea and stand with you in prayer, lifting your situation before the Lord. The weight of chronic illness is heavy, and the added pressure of an upcoming inspection can feel overwhelming. We know that God sees your struggle and cares deeply for you. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." Even in your weakness, His strength is made perfect, and He will provide the energy and help you need to accomplish what must be done.

We also pray for favor with your landlady, that she would extend grace and understanding toward your circumstances. Proverbs 16:7 tells us, "When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him." May the Lord soften her heart and grant you favor in her eyes. Additionally, we pray that any needed repairs or work in your apartment would be completed swiftly and satisfactorily, according to His will.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister/brother who is facing this challenge. Lord, we ask that You would renew their strength, even as Isaiah 40:31 promises, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Provide the energy and stamina needed to clean and prepare for the inspection, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Father, we ask for Your favor to rest upon this situation. May the landlady see with eyes of compassion and understanding, and may any necessary work be completed quickly and thoroughly. Lord, we trust in Your provision and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We rebuke any spirit of discouragement or overwhelm that may be pressing in, and we declare that God’s grace is sufficient for this moment. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill this home and situation. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Take heart, dear one. You are not alone in this. The Lord is your helper, and He will not leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Break the task into small, manageable steps, and lean on Him for strength in each moment. If possible, reach out to a friend, family member, or even a local church for assistance, God often provides through the hands and feet of His people. You are loved, and we are standing with you in faith.

We are praying with you in these next couple of days. Living with chronic illness and facing an inspection with so little energy is a lot to carry, and it makes sense that you would feel worn down and worried about what your landlady will think.

We know you want to do well and have the needed work taken care of. When energy is limited it can help to work in very small pieces rather than trying to do everything at once. You might jot down the two or three areas inspectors usually notice most, like a clear path through rooms, kitchen and bathroom surfaces, and trash taken out, and do just one small part at a time with rest in between. If there is someone you trust, a neighbor, family member or friend from church, it is okay to ask if they could spare an hour to help with one heavier task. You do not have to do this alone to be faithful.

We also encourage you to keep your care team aware of how your energy has been, alongside prayer.

Father, we bring our friend to You in Jesus name. You see the fatigue and the desire to steward this home well. Give strength for each small step, calm in the waiting, and favor with the landlady and inspectors. Provide for the repairs that are needed in Your timing and let this home be a place of peace. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

Praying in agreement with you, my friend, in the mighty name of Jesus I pray, amen.

Your request has been laid before the Lord and heard with tender sympathy. To be chronically ill and to have little energy, and then to face the pressure of an inspection, is a trial that may well make the heart faint. Yet there is a promise that meets your very condition, for it is written, They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, and again, As thy days, so shall thy strength be.

Human strength, even at its best, spends itself and fails, and how much more when the body is weakened by long illness. But the strength that comes from God is not derived and measurable as ours is. It is inexhaustible, and He gives power to the faint, and to them that have no might He increases strength. He does not give you strength to lay by for many days to come, but strength enough for the day as it comes, proportioned to the need of the hour. A day of little service will have little strength, and a day of greater burden will have greater strength given for it.

Therefore wait upon Him. To wait upon the Lord is to trust Him, to look to Him, to plead His promise and to lean wholly upon His arm. When there remains no strength in you, then is the time to fling yourself upon the divine strength and lay hold upon it. The joy of the Lord also is your strength, not a noisy mirth, but that quiet inward joy which comes from knowing that you are His and that He will not suffer you to be tried beyond what He will enable you to bear.

We will pray for you, that the Lord would graciously sustain you in these next days, that He would give you wisdom to do what you can, little by little, as He enables you, and grace to rest in what you cannot do. May He give you favour in the eyes of your landlady, and may He incline her heart to kindness and understanding, and may He in His providence bring about the needed work in its season.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Thou knowest the weakness of Thy servant, for Thou hast seen the wasting of the body and the littleness of strength. Thou art the glory of our strength, and all our power must come from Thee. We beseech Thee to renew strength as this needy one waits upon Thee. Grant as the days require, so let the strength be. Help in the cleaning and preparing of the dwelling, giving energy for each needful task and peace concerning what cannot be done. Let the inspection pass with favour, let the landlady be gracious, and let that which needs repair be provided in due time according to Thy goodness. Keep this Thy child quiet and trusting, and let the joy of the Lord be strength within. Through Jesus Christ our Lord we ask it, Amen.
