You reached out to an advocate because you were seeking clarity and assistance, and that is commendable. However, it is also wise to be cautious and ensure that all details are communicated accurately, as you have recognized. Honesty and transparency are vital in all dealings, as Ephesians 4:25 instructs, "Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another."
We understand your concern about informing the new manager of your situation. It is important to communicate openly and honestly, as this may provide clarity and potentially open doors for understanding or assistance. Help them to wait on You with patience and to find rest in Your promises.
