Anxious

Beloved of All
Don't be anxious but i feel very anxious that it is affecting my health, I have lost alot of weight around a very high amount of rent arrears and the fraudulent actions of property management. I have gone without food for two weeks now and my health is declining. Oh what suffering I've had on this physical plain. Father in the name of Jesus Christ will you please finally help me. I'm not doing well at all and my faith is dwindling. No one has been able to help me no matter how hard I try to reach out, I am completely on my own. Yes, I have tried, i've reachedout to churches pantries. It's just too much.

We have read your request and we hear the depth of your suffering and anxiety, and we are bringing you before the Father together in Jesus name. You are not unseen and you are not forgotten, even though you feel completely on your own. The Lord sees your hunger, your declining health, your weight loss, the heavy burden of rent arrears and the wrong done against you through fraudulent actions, and He cares deeply for you.

We understand why you feel so anxious and why your faith is dwindling under such prolonged hardship. You quoted the truth yourself that we are not to be anxious, and yet the Lord knows how hard it is to live that out when your body is weak and your needs are so urgent. Scripture speaks directly to this place. Phil 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 1 Pet 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Matt 6:31-33 says Therefore don't be anxious, saying, What will we eat? What will we drink? or, With what will we be clothed? For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Isa 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Heb 13:5 reminds us for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.

We are thankful you called on the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and hope of salvation and help. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Your cry in His name is heard.

We want to pray for you and also urge you with love to seek immediate practical help for your physical needs. Going without food for two weeks and losing a lot of weight to the point your health is declining is a medical emergency. Please seek medical care right away through an emergency department or urgent care, and please reach out again for food assistance without delay. Even though you have reached out to churches and pantries and felt turned away, we encourage you to keep pressing in, to call local emergency services, to dial 211 where available for social services, to contact local government assistance, charities, and legal aid regarding the rent arrears and the fraudulent actions of property management. Keep records of what has happened and seek wise counsel and advocacy from a legal aid office or tenant rights organization. God desires justice and provision, and Phil 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up our dear one to You who is anxious, hungry, exhausted and feeling alone. Lord You know the suffering on this physical plain, the sleepless nights, the weight loss, the weakness in body, the fear over rent arrears and the injustice of fraud. We ask You to have mercy and to intervene quickly. Provide daily bread, restore health and strength, open doors for immediate food, housing help, and financial provision. Bring trustworthy people across this dear one's path who will not turn away but will offer real help and advocacy. Expose any fraudulent actions and bring justice and wisdom for next steps. Guard this heart and mind with Your peace which surpasses all understanding, and lift up faith even when it feels dwindling. Let Your presence be felt so strongly that loneliness is replaced with the assurance that You will never leave nor forsake. Sustain and heal, Lord, and lead to still waters and restoration. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our hope and provider, amen.

We encourage you to stay in the Word even in small portions, to keep casting your burden on the Lord as Ps 55:22 says Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. Keep calling on Jesus, keep asking for help from those around you even when it feels discouraging, and allow others to bear your burden with you. We are continuing to pray for your health to be restored, for provision for food and housing, for justice concerning your property management, and for your faith to be renewed day by day as God shows His care for you.

We are so concerned to hear how much you have been carrying and how alone you feel right now. Because you mentioned not eating for two weeks, losing a lot of weight and your health declining, please reach out for help right away. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. You are not alone and trained people are ready to help right now. Please also seek medical care promptly for your physical health, alongside prayer.

We hear how heavy this has been, the anxiety, the rent arrears, the frustration with property management, and trying so hard to reach out to churches and pantries without getting the help you need. It makes sense that you feel exhausted and that your faith feels thin. Going without food and carrying this stress alone is a lot for anyone to bear.

It took courage to write to us. We want to stay with you in prayer, and we also encourage you not to face the medical and practical needs alone. If you can, please let a doctor or clinic know what is happening with your health today, and consider contacting the helpline above or a trusted local service who can help you explore options for food support and housing advice in your area.

Father in Jesus name we lift them to You. You see their weariness, hunger, anxiety and need. Please bring protection, care and clear next steps, surround them with kind and practical help, and restore strength day by day. Guide those who can assist them. In Jesus name, amen.

Your words have come before the Lord and before His people with a weight that cannot be lightly heard. To be anxious even when you know you should not be, to feel your body failing through want of food, to carry the burden of rent arrears and the wrong done to you by others, and to feel that every hand you have reached for has been empty, this is indeed a sore trial. And to feel your faith itself growing faint under it is perhaps the heaviest part of all.

You write that you are completely on your own, and that word, alone, pierced me. Our blessed Savior knows that place. He said to His own disciples, Ye shall leave me alone, and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. There are seasons when a child of God is left alone just when as a man he most needs human sympathy, and friends and helpers seem to scatter. It pained even our Lord, though it did not dismay Him. If you are brought into that same loneliness now, remember that His loneliness sanctifies yours. He understands the sorrow of being friendless in the hour of need, and He stands with you in it. Though men may leave you alone, the Father does not. The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

You speak also of anxiety that has taken hold upon your health. Hear what our Lord says so tenderly, Be not anxious about your temporal affairs. He does not forbid prudence, for we are to act honestly and wisely with what God has entrusted to us, but He does forbid that fretfulness and worry which devours strength and unfits us to meet the very difficulty we fear. I have never discovered that anxiety has comforted anybody, or that it has brought any grist to the mill, or any meal to the barrel. It does not pay, and worse, it unfits the mind and the body to do what must be done. What then shall we do with it. Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee. Be careful for nothing, but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Tell the Lord about the rent, about the fraud, about the empty cupboard, about the fear that wakes you in the night. If anxiety is confined to yourself, no good will come of it, but if it is turned into prayer, it becomes the very means by which God gives peace.

You have gone without food for two weeks and have lost much weight, and your strength is bitten with hunger. That is not a light thing, and it must be tended to without delay. There is a hunger of the body which is most painful, and there is a hunger of the soul after righteousness which our Lord calls blessed, saying, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. That spiritual hunger you show when you cry, Father in the name of Jesus Christ will you please finally help me. That cry is itself a sign that the Spirit has not left you, even when faith seems to fight for its very existence, as it does in deep soul conflict. Yet the Lord who opens the gate of Heaven's granary, which is never locked, also cares for the body He has made. He who fed Elijah by the brook and multiplied bread in the wilderness sees your want. Do not despise the means He provides. I beseech you, seek help again this very day for your bodily need. Go to a physician or to urgent care, for two weeks without food brings great danger. Go again to the pantry and to the church, and tell them plainly as you have told us, that you have not eaten and your health is declining. Seek also any local aid for housing and for counsel concerning the property management, perhaps a trusted pastor, deacon, or legal aid service who can look upon your papers and advise you. You are not forgotten because one door did not open. Knock again. The Lord often keeps the granary open through the hands of His people.

For your soul in this fainting time, remember this, the hunger you feel after righteousness shall be filled, not from yourself, for no man can feed upon his own heart, but from Christ Himself, who is the Bread of Life. He that cometh to me shall never hunger. Come to Him just as you are, weary, anxious, hungry, alone, and tell Him you have nothing. He does not turn away a hungry beggar. Your faith may feel as a bruised reed, but He will not break it.

Let us pray together now.

O Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, look upon this suffering one whom Thou seest and knowest altogether. Thou hast seen the anxiety, the loss of strength, the days without bread, the burden of debt and the wrong that has been done. Lord, have mercy. Lay Thy hand upon this dear one and sustain the body, provide daily bread, open doors for help that have seemed closed, give wisdom for every temporal care, and vindicate what is right. Forgive us our sins and wash us in the blood of Christ, through whom alone we come to Thee. Lift up the fainting faith, and let this soul know that though forsaken by others, Thou art with him still. Give peace that passeth understanding, and fill the hunger of the heart with Christ. Keep this life, we pray Thee, and restore health and hope, for Jesus sake. Amen.

Do not remain in silence after this prayer. I urge you to let one person near you know today the full extent of your need, and to seek immediate care for your body. You have been heard, you are not alone before God, and we will continue to bear you before the throne of grace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
