We hear your heart and we join with you in prayer as you are feeling overwhelmed and anxious, and we bring your burdens before the Lord together in Jesus' name.
We know anxiety can feel heavy and can steal confidence and peace, but God invites us to bring everything to Him. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. The Lord does not want you to carry this weight alone, for He cares deeply for you and He promises His presence and strength. Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Your confidence does not have to come from yourself, but from knowing who you are in Christ and that He is with you and will equip you.
We also lift up your work to the Lord. We pray that He will give you focus, wisdom and diligence in every task, and that you would find purpose in working for Him. Colossians 3:23 says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. We pray for a comfortable working environment for you, one marked by mutual respect, kindness and encouragement among coworkers, and that the Lord would guard your mind with His peace even when demands feel overwhelming.
We noticed your request closes with Amen but does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently encourage you about this because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to come to God in His name, for He hears us when we pray in Jesus' name.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, You see the anxiety and the feeling of being overwhelmed, and we ask You to lift this burden and replace it with Your perfect peace. Calm the anxious thoughts and guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Fill this dear one with confidence not in self but in Your presence, Your love and Your power. Strengthen and help and uphold with Your righteous right hand. Lord, we ask You to bless the work of their hands, give clarity and ability to do well at every task, and provide a working environment filled with respect, grace and peace among all. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding rest upon them today and in the days ahead. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring every worry to Him daily in prayer with thanksgiving, to rest in His Word and to remember that He is with you and will strengthen you step by step.
