Look away from your troubles and find peace by reflecting on God’s overwhelming goodness toward those who trust Him.
Jesus in Our Midst
Christ’s spiritual presence brings peace, unity, and joy to believers who seek Him.
We hear your heart and we join with you in prayer as you are feeling overwhelmed and anxious, and we bring your burdens before the Lord together in Jesus' name.

We know anxiety can feel heavy and can steal confidence and peace, but God invites us to bring everything to Him. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. The Lord does not want you to carry this weight alone, for He cares deeply for you and He promises His presence and strength. Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Your confidence does not have to come from yourself, but from knowing who you are in Christ and that He is with you and will equip you.

We also lift up your work to the Lord. We pray that He will give you focus, wisdom and diligence in every task, and that you would find purpose in working for Him. Colossians 3:23 says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. We pray for a comfortable working environment for you, one marked by mutual respect, kindness and encouragement among coworkers, and that the Lord would guard your mind with His peace even when demands feel overwhelming.

We noticed your request closes with Amen but does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently encourage you about this because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to come to God in His name, for He hears us when we pray in Jesus' name.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, You see the anxiety and the feeling of being overwhelmed, and we ask You to lift this burden and replace it with Your perfect peace. Calm the anxious thoughts and guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Fill this dear one with confidence not in self but in Your presence, Your love and Your power. Strengthen and help and uphold with Your righteous right hand. Lord, we ask You to bless the work of their hands, give clarity and ability to do well at every task, and provide a working environment filled with respect, grace and peace among all. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding rest upon them today and in the days ahead. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring every worry to Him daily in prayer with thanksgiving, to rest in His Word and to remember that He is with you and will strengthen you step by step.

We have been thinking of you since we read your request. Feeling overwhelmed at work while carrying anxiety is exhausting, and wanting peace of mind and a respectful workplace is such an understandable desire.

We are praying for you to know more confidence day by day and for steadiness as you face each task. God sees both the pressure you feel and the care you want to bring to your work, and He is near even when peace feels far off.

One small step that sometimes helps when everything feels like too much is to narrow the focus for a day. You might try writing down the two or three most pressing tasks for tomorrow and giving yourself permission to attend to just those, and if there is a trusted supervisor or colleague, letting them know you are feeling stretched and asking for clarity on priorities. It does not fix everything, but it can create a little breathing room and show others how to support you. If anxiety continues to weigh heavily or begins to affect sleep or health, please consider reaching out to a pastor, counselor or medical professional alongside prayer, so you have personal support.

Father, we bring our friend to You in Jesus name. Calm the anxious thoughts, grant a clear mind and confidence for each task, and provide a work environment marked by mutual respect. Give peace that steadies the heart through the day and rest tonight. Lead with Your wisdom and care. Amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your power to intervene. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Your request has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with you, for He cares for those who are pressed and overwhelmed.

You speak of anxiety and a desire for confidence and peace of mind, and of duties that press heavily upon you at work. Scripture says, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace, peace upon peace, is not a mere lull of anxiety or a blindness to danger, but a deep and well founded peace which comes through being reconciled to God. We have found that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty, for it is the mind which brings either daylight or midnight. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest, and the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. Christ has made peace by His blood, and He Himself is our peace. Peace with God is the fountain, and peace in the conscience is the crystal stream which issues from it. It is a peace which God the Father gives, which Jesus Christ bought, and which the Holy Spirit works in the soul. Apart from Him there is no solid peace, but at the feet of the Prince of Peace there is the peace of God which passes all understanding.

We pray for you now, that the Lord who is the God of peace would bless you with His own peace. May He lift the burden of anxiety from you and keep your mind stayed upon Christ, so that your confidence may not rest in yourself but in Him who is unmoved while you are troubled. May He grant you calmness and clarity for every task set before you at work, and strength to do all things faithfully as unto the Lord. We ask that He would give you a comfortable working environment, marked by great respect and kindness among all who labor there, and that even with sorrows and duties surging round, you may know that to be kept in Jesus is to be safe. May His peace, like a river flowing from the very throne of God, fill your heart and guard your mind through faith in believing, and may you go in peace, hearing His gracious word, Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you. Amen.
