We join with you in bringing your anxiety and feeling of being overwhelmed before the throne of grace, and we lift up your work and your desire for peace and confidence to our Heavenly Father.
We hear how heavy this burden feels, and Scripture tells us that God does not want us to carry anxiety alone. He invites us to cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for us. 1 Peter 5:7 says to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us that God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. True confidence does not come from our own strength, but from knowing who we are in Christ and that He is with us. As Isaiah 41:10 says, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
The peace you are longing for is promised to those who bring everything to God in prayer. Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Jesus Himself offers this peace, saying in John 14:27, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.
We also lift up your work to the Lord. We pray that He will equip you for every task and give you clarity and diligence, for Colossians 3:23 tells us, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. We pray for a comfortable and respectful working environment, where each person honors one another. Romans 12:10 calls us to be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor. And Colossians 3:12-14 encourages us to put on compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience, bearing with one another and above all putting on love. That is the kind of respect and grace we pray will fill your workplace.

John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and can boldly approach God in prayer. Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you have not yet placed your full trust in Him, we encourage you to do so today, for He is the source of the peace that guards your heart.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is overwhelmed and anxious. Lord, You see the weight they carry and the desire to be confident and to do well at work. We ask that You would replace anxiety with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to cast every care upon You, knowing You care deeply for them. Fill their heart with confidence not in themselves, but in Your strength and presence, for You have promised to uphold them with Your righteous right hand. Give them clarity, focus, and skill for every task at work, and let their work be done as unto You. We pray for their workplace, that You would cultivate an environment of mutual respect, kindness, and honor among all who work there, reflecting Your love. Grant them peace of mind, restful thoughts, and a calm spirit, and remind them daily that You are near. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.

We have carried your request before the throne of grace and have prayed for you, that the God of peace Himself would give you peace always.
You speak of anxiety and of being overwhelmed, and of longing for confidence and peace of mind. This is a common trial, for peace in the form of perfect calm and serenity is a very delicate thing, and such poor creatures are we that we may lose our peace of mind even by a word or a look. Yet the Scripture holds out a sure anchor. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace, peace upon peace, is not found in the removal of all duties, but in a mind stayed upon the Lord Jesus Christ. As one hymn well says, the blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and even when thronging duties press, to do the will of Jesus, this is rest.
We have prayed that you would know that peace which passes all understanding, which shall keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. The legacy of Christ to His people is a twofold peace, a peace of friendship with God through His atoning blood, and then a peace of sweet enjoyment and quiet rest in the understanding and the conscience. When you are reconciled to God by Christ, God is at peace with you, and that peace can then rule within you even when outward things are pressing.
Therefore we have asked the Lord to lift from you the doubtful and anxious mind, for our Saviour says, Neither be you of a doubtful mind. May He give you not a confidence in yourself, but a joyous confidence in Him, so that you may say, In the shadow of Your wings will I make my refuge. May He settle your mind upon eternal truth by the teaching of the Holy Spirit, that you may be kept from wavering and find an anchor for your heart.
For your work we have also prayed. We have asked that God would give you steadiness and diligence in all your tasks, that you may do them faithfully as unto the Lord, and that He would grant you a working environment marked by quietness, kindness and mutual respect. He is the God of peace who preserves peace when it is made, and we have asked Him to let that peace be known among those with whom you labour, and to guard your heart from the tyranny of anxious thoughts.
May the Lord teach you to submit yourself to Him in all things, trusting His providential arrangements and His gracious keeping, and may He bathe you in seas of heavenly peace as you trust in Jesus alone, who is our Prince of Peace.
We will continue to pray that the peace of God, which is far above all thought, may keep your heart and mind, and that you may prove in your daily duties that perfect peace is a present possession to be enjoyed in the ordinary circumstances of life.
