We hear your cry for peace and confidence, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your burdens to our Heavenly Father. Anxiety can feel like a heavy chain, but we know that Christ came to set the captives free. The Word of God tells us, "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). You are not meant to carry this weight alone, Jesus invites you to lay it at His feet.
We rebuke the spirit of fear in your life, for "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). The enemy seeks to steal your peace, but we declare that you are a child of the Most High, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that the Lord would quiet the storms within you and replace your anxiety with His perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
For your work, we ask the Lord to grant you wisdom, favor, and excellence in all your tasks. May He order your steps and give you strength when you are weary. "Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established" (Proverbs 16:3). We pray for a workplace filled with respect, unity, and godly fellowship, where kindness and encouragement flow freely. May the Lord surround you with colleagues who uplift you and honor Him in their conduct.
Father, we ask that You would calm every racing thought and still the trembling in [this person’s] heart. Fill them with Your presence so that they may walk in confidence, knowing that You are their strength. One thing we've learned is that the calm you're asking for often doesn't arrive in one sudden rush. It grows little by little as we take the next small step and entrust this moment's worry to God. So right now, the most helpful thing might be to pause and name one manageable piece of the overwhelmed feeling. What's one task you can complete today or one email you can respond to? Before you touch it, whisper a short prayer, something as simple as "Jesus, steady my mind for this." Doing that repeatedly can gently pull your heart back from the spiral and remind you that you're not alone.
We also want to honor your desire for a comfortable, respectful workplace. While you can't control others, we're praying that God would strengthen you to be a calm, kind presence even in the middle of the stress. And we pray He opens the door for better mutual respect in your team.

The blood of Jesus whispers peace within. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Peace, peace is the peculiar possession of those who submit themselves to God. Your present anxiety arises from a mind that is cast down and disquieted within you; but the remedy is not the devil’s peace of apathy or levity, but the deep, abiding calm that comes when the soul yields itself unreservedly to the will of Jesus.
To do the will of Jesus, this is rest. Your tasks at work, overwhelming though they seem, may be transformed into sacred service if you commit them to the Lord. Neither be of a doubtful mind, for an irresolute heart breeds fretting and fear. Take the Word of God as your rule and confidence; give it the throne of your heart, and it shall keep you in a fixed and holy repose.
The Lord of Peace Himself give you peace, not as the world gives, but always, by His own presence. The God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, can quiet all the raging within you. Seek not mere comfort in surroundings or the respect of colleagues, but that peace which passes understanding, which garrisons the heart and mind through Christ Jesus. A Christian hard at work for God, upon the stretch of anxiety to do good, finds in that very service a sacred concord and joy.

You ask for prayer that your anxiety will depart and that you find confidence, and that you might do well in your tasks and have a peaceful working place where respect abounds. Know that the peace you seek is not like the peace the world gives. The world's peace is external and fleeting, often harmful, but the peace Christ gives makes you strong from within. When He says, "I leave you peace," He gives a peace that reconciles you to God and to your neighbor. This is the peace that surpasses the trouble of the world, and no outward turmoil can take it away.
Your anxiety will not be driven out by peaceful circumstances first, but by a mind set on the Spirit. To be carnally minded is death and constant agitation, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. That spiritual mind rests in God's power, for the things impossible with men are possible with God. Therefore, when your heart is overwhelmed, look to Him who can calm the storm, and your confidence will be in His unfailing strength, not in your own.
As for your tasks at work, do them with diligence, yet without anxious grasping. A pure conscience brings more comfort than any success. When you do your part in sincerity, you can trust the outcome to God. And if you would have a comfortable working environment, be an artisan of peace and love. I beseech you rather to focus on what you can cultivate in your own soul: be of the same mind with others, not in grumbling and division, but in seeking harmony. For where love is, no discord will admit; and though you cannot control others, your own meekness and kindness often soothes the strife around you. Be perfected in love, for love does not envy or boast, and it covers a multitude of wrongs.

Rejoice in the Lord, set your mind on things above, and let your gentleness be known to all.
