please pray for me and my family to have protection over us. I have terrible anxiety also and need peace. I am working on letting go and trusting in God.

We hear your cry for peace and protection, and we stand with you in lifting this burden before the Lord. Anxiety can feel overwhelming, like a storm raging within, but we know that Jesus is the Prince of Peace who calms the winds and the waves. You are not alone in this struggle, and we rejoice that you are seeking to trust God more fully, this is the path to true rest.

The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." This is not just a suggestion; it is a promise. When we bring our fears to God, He replaces them with a peace that defies human logic. We also remember 1 Peter 5:7, which says, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Your anxiety is not too heavy for Him to carry.

We must also rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to torment you and your family. 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Fear does not come from God, and we refuse to allow it to have dominion over you. Instead, we claim the authority of Jesus’ name to break its grip and replace it with the confidence that comes from knowing God is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister and their family. Lord, You see the anxiety that weighs heavily on their heart, and You know the fears that seek to steal their peace. We ask that You would surround them with Your presence, like a shield, and fill them with the peace that only You can give. Father, help them to release every worry, every fear, and every burden into Your hands, trusting that You are in control. We rebuke the spirit of fear in Jesus’ name and command it to flee. Replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).

Lord, we pray for protection over their family, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Guard their minds from the lies of the enemy and fill them with Your truth. Strengthen their faith as they learn to trust You more each day. Remind them that You are their ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1) and that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). We ask that You would give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate life’s challenges, and that You would fill their home with Your peace.

Father, we also pray for healing, emotional, mental, and spiritual. If there are areas where they have held onto control or struggled to surrender, soften their heart to fully trust in You. Help them to meditate on Your Word and to hide it in their heart so that they might not sin against You (Psalm 119:11). May they find comfort in Your promises and strength in Your presence.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that anxiety will not have the final say in their life, but that Your peace will reign in their heart. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord through prayer, reading His Word, and surrounding yourself with fellow believers who can uplift and support you. Anxiety may not disappear overnight, but as you draw nearer to God, He will draw nearer to you (James 4:8), and His peace will guard your heart. You are not defined by your anxiety, you are defined by the love and grace of Jesus Christ. Keep pressing into Him, and remember that He is with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).

Thank you for letting us know what’s on your heart. We hear how heavy the anxiety feels, and we’re praying with you for protection over your family and for a real sense of peace in your own soul. Anxiety doesn’t mean your faith is small, it means you’re human, and you’re reaching out for God’s help, which is exactly the right place to be.

When you mention that you’re “working on letting go and trusting in God,” we want to affirm that this work is often a gradual, daily process, not a single dramatic event. It’s like learning to walk: mostly it’s putting one foot in front of the other, and sometimes we stumble. That’s okay. The effort itself, the small turning toward trust when fear rises, is an act of faith, and God meets you in that.

One thing that can help carry the weight is not trying to carry it alone. The presence of others is one of the most powerful resources God gives us in stressful seasons. Is there a trusted friend, a small group, or a pastor you could reach out to? Not necessarily for advice, but simply for steady companionship and prayer. Sometimes just knowing someone else is sitting with us in the mess can ease the tightness.

Also, if the anxiety is persistent, intense, or interfering with your daily life, please consider talking with a Christian counselor or your doctor. Terrible anxiety isn’t a spiritual failure, and getting skilled help alongside prayer is not a weakness, it’s wisdom. Many believers have found that counseling, sometimes along with medical support, made it possible to experience the peace they’d been desperately reaching for.

We’re praying now for you and for your family.

Lord Jesus, we ask you to surround this household with your protection and peace. Quiet the racing thoughts, calm the body, and steady their hearts in the truth that they are held securely by you. Give them courage to take practical steps, and bring safe people alongside them in this season. In your name, Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father grant healing and peace to this requestor. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

To be anxious is to forget that your times are in the hand of the living God. He who made the heavens and the earth, who sustains all things by the word of His power, is your Father in Christ Jesus, and yet you tremble? Cast yourself upon Him, for to handle this matter wisely is simply to trust God. You say you are working on letting go and trusting; then do it, and cease from the striving that is but unbelief. Lay the whole weight of your care upon Him, for He has commanded you to cast all your anxiety upon Him, seeing He careth for you. Have that little bird in your bosom that sings sweetly of the love of God; wear the flower called heart’s-ease, and go merrily through this wilderness of trouble.

The God of peace Himself is your portion. He created peace, He preserves peace, and He shall perfect it at last. Go to Him in prayer, and say, “Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in Thee: yea, in the shadow of Thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be past.” You need no other shelter than those wings; no other peace than that which He gives. And this peace, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. It is not the world’s false peace, a mere stupefying of conscience, but peace with God through the blood of the everlasting covenant, peace that flows like a river from the very throne of God. Go in this peace. It shall be your strength. Sometimes your strength is to sit still, and always the joy of the Lord is your strength.

As for protection, how can you fear when the living God is your shield? He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. Trust in Him for your family as for yourself; He is the God of all the families of His chosen. Ungodly men may surround you tomorrow, but go in peace, not fluttered and disturbed, but softly singing, “My heart is resting, O my God!” Do the right thing, and then be no longer anxious about it, but leave the result with God. Only trust Him. Only trust Him now. And as you do, the peace of God, which is the blessed fruit of the Spirit, shall garrison your heart, and you shall glorify Him in your daily walk by going in peace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

When anxious thoughts storm your mind, they set up a wrestling match within: one voice urges fear and another faintly whispers trust. Do not let fear seize the prize. Let the peace of God step forward as the umpire. If you allow His peace to rule in your heart, it awards victory to trust and silences the clamor of dread. For God is a God of peace; He delights not in our inner turmoil but in hearts that rest in Him.

This peace is not the fragile, human sort that crumbles when circumstances shift. The world’s peace depends on everything going well, but God’s peace is fixed and steadfast. It flows from His very nature, not from your circumstances. When you let go of the need to control every outcome and instead entrust yourself to Him, you begin to grasp what faith truly means. Reason alone cannot comprehend how God protects and provides; if we could fully understand, there would be no need for faith. Yet it is precisely in the darkness of “not knowing” that trust shines brightest. You do not have to see the whole path; the Shepherd sees it, and He leads you step by step.

You pray for protection over your family. Then imitate the peacemakers, who are called children of God. Let your home be ruled by peace, not by anxious words or frantic planning. When we strive after peace with one another and with God, we invite His presence, for He is the God of love and peace. He draws near to those who seek His face with a quiet heart. So when the familiar tightness rises in your chest, do not entertain the fearful thoughts. Speak to your soul as the Church speaks in every gathering: “Peace be unto you.” Let that holy peace, which is the mother of all good things, settle over your household like a shield.

Continue working to let go, but know that it is not by your own strength that trust grows. It is the fruit of turning again and again to the One who is unchanging. Every time you refuse to wrestle with anxiety and instead hand it over to Him, the referee of peace renders its verdict. And that verdict is life, calm, and the sure knowledge that you are held fast. May the God of peace Himself guard your hearts and minds, and may He grant you and your family that deep, abiding serenity which the world can neither give nor take away.
