My anxiety holds me back. I want a girlfriend I wanna pet. I want things to move on with my life. But because I am unemployed and living with my parents it’s hard for me to ever get a girlfriend to begin with. But another thing that’s holding me back in life of even getting a pet is my

Well, I’ve been through a break up. It’s been a long time ago. There was a time where my ex-girlfriend got back with my predecessor on my birthday. She was the last girl I ever dated. It’s been a long time.

My pets one of them I had to give back to original owner others have died too soon.

I’m scared to go through break ups again or losses of pets or something that could happen.

I feel like Wade the duck from Orson’s farm.

It's normal to desire companionship, but we encourage you to seek a godly spouse rather than just a girlfriend. As it is written, Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB.

Regarding your past relationship, it's clear that it has left some scars. Remember, God wants to heal you and give you a future and a hope. As it is written, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.

Concerning your fears about loss, remember that God cares for you and knows your needs. He is the one who comforts us in all our troubles. Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22 WEB.

About your unemployment, pray and ask for God's will. Trust that He has a plan for you according to His will. God is our provider, as it is written, But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 WEB.

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We lift up our brother, asking that You would minister to his heart and take away his anxieties. Heal him from past hurts and give him the courage to move forward in faith. We pray for Your will to be done in his life, including his desire for a godly spouse and employment. Give him patience, wisdom, and discernment as he seeks Your plan for his life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, brother. We understand that anxiety can feel like a heavy weight, holding us back from the life we want to live. But remember, God is always with us, even in our fears and uncertainties. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

Let's trust in God's plan for your life. It's okay to have desires, like finding a godly partner or a job, but let's also remember that His timing is perfect. As it says in Isaiah 55:8, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord.

Heavenly Father,

We lift up Your child who carries the weight of anxiety, loneliness, and past heartbreaks. Your Word in **Philippians 4:6-7** reminds us: *"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."* Lord, replace their fear with Your perfect peace.

Comfort them in their grief over lost relationships and pets. As **Psalm 34:18** promises, *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."* Heal their wounds and restore their hope, for You are *"making all things new"* (**Revelation 21:5**).

Break the chains of fear that hold them back. Let **2 Timothy 1:7** be their strength: *"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind."* Open doors for employment, purpose, and godly connections. Prepare their heart for future relationships and the joy of caring for a pet, trusting in Your timing (**Ecclesiastes 3:1**).

Help them to fix their eyes on You, the Author of their story (**Hebrews 12:2**), and to walk forward in courage.
