We understand that you're experiencing anxiety and seeking calm and peace for an upcoming interview, and also that you have loved ones with health concerns. We want to remind you that God is always there to listen and help us in our time of need. The Bible tells us, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7 WEB. The Bible also states that God's peace can guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
The interview: It's important to remember that our abilities and talents come from God, and we should use them to glorify Him. As it says in Colossians 3:23 WEB, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. So, let's pray for your calmness and that your words be guided.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our dear friend who is feeling anxious about an upcoming interview. We pray that You grant them a spirit of boldness and love, and a sound mind as discussed in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. For God has not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but one of power and sound judgment and of self-control. Father, give them the right words to speak, that communicates the wisdom and love of God.
We also lift up their loved one who has a cardiologist appointment this morning. We pray for Your healing touch, dear Lord. Guide the doctors and nurses, and grant them wisdom and discernment as they care for this person. We pray that whatever the outcome, that Your will be done, and that You grant them an easy fix with no huge procedures needed.
Father, we ask all this in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we pray, believing that You hear us and are faithful to act according to Your perfect will. We truly believe in the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14 WEB that Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. We honor You, Father, and we thank You for Your unfailing love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus. It is by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. The scripture declares in Acts 4:12 WEB. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
