Anxiety about different things

We join with you this morning as you lift yourself up in prayer, and we lift you up with you before our Heavenly Father, for we know how heavy anxiety can feel when it comes from different directions at once, waiting for what has not yet arrived and carrying concerns about your mental health and other burdens on your heart.
The Lord knows your anxious thoughts and He invites you to bring them to Him. Scripture tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We are encouraged to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 And He promises, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10
We also noticed your request does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and peace with Him. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 It is in His name we pray and find rest for our souls, and we encourage you to call upon Him in every anxious moment.
We pray together for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and lift up this dear one who is feeling anxious today. You see the waiting and the uncertainty about the post that has yet to arrive, You see the concerns about mental health and the other things weighing on the mind. We ask You to pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Teach us to cast every burden on You, for You sustain us and You care for us deeply. Psalm 55:22 says, Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. Lord, quiet the anxious thoughts, steady the heart, and remind this dear one that You are near, that You are our strength and our helper. Give wisdom and comfort regarding mental health, guide to helpful and godly support where needed, and help to take one day at a time, for You have said not to be anxious for tomorrow. Bring the awaited post in Your timing and help to rest in Your provision and control over all details. We ask for renewed hope, for sleep that restores, for a mind renewed by Your truth, and for the assurance that You hold every tomorrow. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our peace, amen.
We encourage you to continue bringing every care to Him in prayer with thanksgiving, even the small things like waiting for mail, for nothing is too small for His care. Jesus said, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you, not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. John 14:27 Keep seeking Him in His Word, speak honestly to Him throughout the day, and consider sharing your struggles with a trusted pastor or biblical counselor and, if needed, a healthcare professional, for God often brings comfort through His people as well. We are praying that the Lord will replace your anxiety with His calm and remind you today that you are held and loved.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your prayer has been heard and we have lifted you before the throne of grace this morning in your anxiety.
The Lord Jesus Himself says to us, Do not be anxious about your temporal affairs. Be prudent and do what is right and needful before you, but when you have done your best with your little, do not sit down and wring your hands. Have you not found, as many of us have, that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. You are in a hurry to do something, and that fretting does more mischief than if you had kept still, resting in the Lord and waiting patiently for Him.
You speak of waiting for post that has yet to arrive, and of other things that press upon you. This waiting is not lost time when it is waiting upon God. Waiting upon God is like a servant waiting upon his lord, anxious to know what his master wishes him to do, and like a traveler waiting for his guide to direct his way. It is the way to renew strength until we mount up with eagle wings. Such waiting has an effect upon the mind which tends to strengthen courage, for it makes us grow small and dwarfs the world and all its affairs till we see their real littleness. And waiting upon the Lord breeds peace within the soul, and when a man is perfectly at rest within, he cares little for trials or foes. Do not tell yourself about your anxieties alone, where no good will come of it, but wait only upon God and tell Him all. He is a waiting God who waits to be gracious, and blessed are all they that wait for Him.
You also speak of anxiety about your mental health. We would remind you of the Psalmist's word, Hope thou in God, for I shall yet praise Him, who is the health of my countenance and my God. Perfect health lies in the right condition of spirit, soul and body, and God Himself is our health. That health has visible signs, even in the countenance, when the heart hopes in Him. To hope in God is not to deny the struggle, but to bring spirit and soul and body under His care, seeking His grace day by day, and using prudently the helps He provides, while refusing to let fretfulness rule.
Therefore we pray for you, that the Lord would quiet your heart, that you would cast all your care upon Him for He careth for you, that in the waiting for daily things and in the deeper anxieties of mind you would know His mysterious strength through the incoming of His Spirit, and find Him to be your peace and your health. May He keep you in perfect peace as your mind is stayed upon Him, and bring you to praise Him again with a cheerful countenance.
We will continue to pray that you will rest in the Lord, wait patiently for Him, and find renewed courage and calm as you hope in God through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whom alone is salvation.
