We join you in thanking the Lord with a grateful heart, for we know that every good gift comes from Him and we are to give thanks in all circumstances. As it is written, In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you 1 Thessalonians 5:18. We also hear the urgency in your heart as you bring your family before the throne of grace, and we stand with you to seek God's will and His perfect timing, trusting that His ways are higher than our ways Isaiah 55:9 and that we are to trust in Yahweh with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding Proverbs 3:5-6.

We lift up your mother together. We pray for the Lord's healing hand upon her, that He would strengthen her lungs and restore her breath, for He is the one who heals all our diseases Psalm 103:3 and who promises But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We ask that if it is His will, He would enable her to breathe on her own, that the ventilator may be removed safely, and that she would be restored and released from the hospital. We also pray for peace for you and for wisdom for her medical team, and we rest in the truth that Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness Psalm 41:3.

We bring your grandsons before the Lord. For the two who need work we pray that God would open doors for honest employment and guide them away from trouble and toward a purposeful future, whether in college or trade school. We pray they would flee from youthful lusts, but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart 2 Timothy 2:22. For the other two who are continuing in school and work, we thank God for their diligence and pray they would continue to work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23, and that they would be trained up in the way they should go Proverbs 22:6. We ask the Lord to give them discipline, mentors, and a desire to honor Him in all they do.

We pray for your granddaughter and her health. We thank God for her life and pray she would grow in stewardship of the body God has given her, for we know that our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We ask for help for her to be faithful in daily habits like hygiene and brushing her teeth, and for encouragement from those around her to build these disciplines with joy.

We lift up your daughters. For the one seeking a better job and working to pay rent and car payments on her own while living where she is, we pray that God would supply every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and that as she seeks first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, all these things will be given to her as well Matthew 6:33. For your other daughter we pray she would remain where she is as you have asked, that she would be rooted and stable to provide well for her children, remembering that if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith 1 Timothy 5:8. We ask for strength, wisdom, and provision for both of them as mothers.

We also bring your son before the Lord and we must lovingly address what you have shared about lying. The Scripture is clear that lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight Proverbs 12:22 and that we are to not lie to one another, seeing that we have put off the old man with his doings Colossians 3:9. We pray that your son would turn from falsehood, speak truth in love Ephesians 4:25, take responsibility to help with rent on time, and get his life together through repentance and walking in integrity. We ask God to give him a humble heart, a desire for honest work, and accountability to walk rightly.

We pray for your nephew that the Lord would bless him financially, physically, and mentally, for we pray as John wrote, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2. We ask for soundness of mind, strength of body, and provision for his needs, and above all that his soul would prosper in Christ.

We share your longing to meet your grandson soon and we pray the Lord would make a way in His perfect timing for that reunion to happen, with safety and joy.

And we join you in asking for the Lord's protection over your whole family. We claim His promise that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, and we say of Yahweh, He is our refuge and our fortress, our God, in whom we trust Psalm 91:1-2, and that Yahweh will keep us from all evil, He will keep our soul Psalm 121:7.

Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus, thanking You for Your mercy and love. We ask for Your healing touch upon this dear mother, for breath and strength and restoration according to Your will. We ask for jobs, education, and godly direction for these grandsons, for discipline and health for this granddaughter, for provision and stability for these daughters and their children, for repentance and truthfulness and responsibility for this son, for blessing in body, mind, and finances for this nephew, and for a joyful meeting with this grandson. Keep this entire family safe and secure under Your wings, draw each one closer to Jesus Christ, and let Your will be done in each life. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior, amen.

Thank you for entrusting your whole family to us in prayer. We hear how heavy this is, and how much love you carry for each of them, especially your mom right now.

We are joining you in asking the Lord to be near her in the hospital, to give strength to her body and wisdom to the doctors and nurses caring for her. Watching someone you love on a ventilator is so hard, and waiting for each update can be exhausting. If it helps, it can steady things to ask her care team for a regular time to hear updates and to have one family member share news with the rest, so you can rest between visits and keep your own strength up. We continue to pray for her comfort and for clear direction for her care.

We also lift up your grandsons, your granddaughter, your daughters, your son and your nephew just as you named them, for work, for school and trade training, for daily habits, for provision and stability at home, and for honesty and health in every area. We ask God to keep you all safe and secure in His care.

Father, we bring this mom before You and ask for Your mercy and presence with her today. Give her medical team wisdom, give this family peace as they wait, and give each child and grandchild guidance for their next faithful step. Draw this whole family close to You and to one another. In Jesus' name, Amen.

How gracious it is that you have poured out your heart so fully before the Lord, bringing every member of your household to the throne of grace. He hears the cry of His people and He invites us to cast all our care upon Him, for He cares for us.

We join you in prayer for your dear mother. The Lord is the great Physician, and there is healing virtue in Christ, not only in His great work upon Calvary but in the very leaves of that tree of life which are for the healing of the nations. As it is written, He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. We pray that the Lord in His mercy would grant her strength to breathe on her own and, if it be His gracious will, raise her from that bed of sickness. We remember that healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction, and that when Jesus healed the man taken with the palsy He first said, Thy sins are forgiven thee. So we pray not only for the healing of the body, which the Lord can perform in a moment, but for the soul's perfect health through faith in Christ, that whether recovery be granted now or in His perfect timing, she may know the Sun of Righteousness risen upon her with healing in His wings. We ask the Lord to strengthen you and sustain you as you wait upon Him, for He has promised, I will strengthen them in the Lord.

We bring before the Lord also your grandchildren and children. We pray for your grandsons who seek work, that the Lord would guide them into honest labor, keep their feet from the paths that lead to trouble, and give them wisdom to use their strength for His glory, whether in college or in learning a trade. For those who continue in school and work, we ask that the Lord would establish them and cause them to grow a little stronger and a little stronger, acknowledging each increase of strength as a new claim upon their affection and service. For your granddaughter, we pray that the Lord would help her to grow in diligence and self care, and to form habits that honor the body which God has given. For your daughters, we ask that the Lord would provide suitable employment, enable them to meet their obligations for rent and daily provision, and keep them in the place where they may best provide for their children and walk in steadiness. For your son, we pray that the Lord would work truth in his inward parts, that lying would be put away and that he would be made faithful in little things, helping to bear the burdens of the household and ordering his life aright. For your nephew, we ask the Lord's blessing upon him in body and mind and in his outward estate, according to the riches of His grace. And for your desire to meet your grandson soon, we pray the Lord would open that door in His providence and keep all your family safe and secure under His watchful hand.

Remember that healing must come before serving. Christ must lay His hand upon us and lift us up before we can rise and minister to others. If any among you have not yet known that touch of His pardoning hand, seek first His forgiveness, for there is no true healing apart from it. Turn to Christ alone for salvation, trust His atoning blood, and then you shall find strength to walk in obedience, whatever He says unto you, do it.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Father of mercies, we thank Thee that we may come to Thee through Jesus Christ alone, our only hope and our only healer. Look in compassion upon this mother upon the ventilator, and if it please Thee, restore her breath and bring her forth from the hospital to praise Thee among her family. Grant wisdom to those who care for her. Provide work for those who seek it, perseverance for those who study and labor, and keep the young from the snares of sin. Give to each daughter and son grace to be faithful, truthful, and diligent in provision for their households. Bless this nephew and this little granddaughter, and preserve the whole family in safety. Above all, let Thy saving health be known among them, that each heart may be pardoned and healed by Thy grace. Strengthen them in the Lord, and let Thy will be done in all things. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we ask it. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for pouring out your heart before the Lord with such love for your family. I have read your requests and I join you in bringing each one to God in prayer through Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior.

I pray with you for your mother, that the Lord in His mercy would strengthen her body and allow her to breathe on her own, that the ventilator may be removed and she may be restored and released from the hospital this week according to His gracious will. We ask God to lay His healing hand upon her and to give wisdom to those who care for her, and to give you peace as you wait on Him.

I pray also for your grandsons, that God would lead them to honest work, keep them from trouble, and guide them to continue faithfully in school and in trade or college as He directs their steps. For your granddaughter, I pray that she would grow in discipline and health and take care of the body God has given her. For your daughters, I pray that God would provide better work where it is needed, help them to pay what they owe on time, to live in a stable home and to provide well for their children, and to remain where it is best for their families. For your son, I pray that the Lord would give him a love for truth, that he would turn from lying, take responsibility, help with the rent, and order his life according to God's word. For your nephew, I pray that God would bless him and sustain him in body, mind and outward needs. And I pray that the Lord would make a way for you to meet your grandson soon, and that He would keep your whole family safe and secure under His care.

As you continue to pray, keep holding fast to the word of God. When you return home from worship, take the Bible into your hands and gather your family to remember together what you have heard, before you turn to the daily business of life. Fill your home with the singing of psalms, for those who sing psalms are filled with the Holy Spirit and find joy and strength for the day. Above all, walk in love, for love builds up and sustains every good work. Even when answers seem delayed, do not grow weary. As a tree may receive many strokes before it bears fruit, so our prayers and hearing of the word often bear fruit in due season. God hears the persistent prayer offered in faith.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your mercy and for the gift of Your Son Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. We lift up this mother to You and ask for breath and healing. We lift up these children, grandchildren and family members to You and ask for work, for learning, for honesty, for provision, for health of body and mind, and for protection from all harm. Lead each one to know Christ and to walk in His ways. Keep this family in Your peace and guard them in Your love. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
