We hear your heart and we join with you in prayer, for we know how wearying it can feel when the battles seem long and the answers seem delayed. You are not fighting alone, and you are not unheard. We thank you for coming to the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and confidence that He hears us. As it is written, Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need Hebrews 4:16.

We understand your question about praying for the same things over and over and wondering if you are praying wrong. You are not praying wrong to keep bringing the same burdens to the Lord. Jesus taught us not to use vain repetitions as the Gentiles do, thinking they will be heard for their many words Matthew 6:7, but He also taught that we ought always to pray and not to faint Luke 18:1. Persistent prayer is not unbelief, it is faith that keeps trusting. God hears every prayer according to His will, and His answer comes in His perfect time. As it is written, This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. Sometimes His answer is yes, sometimes wait, and sometimes He is working in ways we cannot yet see, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28. We encourage you not to grow weary, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up Galatians 6:9.

We also hear your weariness from carrying so many burdens for your family. The Lord does not want you to fight these battles in your own strength. He says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28 and Cast your burden on Yahweh and he will sustain you Psalm 55:22. The battle is not yours but God's 2 Chronicles 20:15 and Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still Exodus 14:14. We also gently remind you that while we love our children and grandchildren deeply, we must speak truth in love. For your son, lying does not align with God's will, for you shall not lie to one another Colossians 3:9 and putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor Ephesians 4:25. Praying for him to walk in truth and to be a faithful steward in paying what he owes is praying according to God's will. And for your daughter who is raising children, we pray she will find strength to nurture them with patience and not out of anger, for Fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord Ephesians 6:4 and Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it Proverbs 22:6.

We now pray together for you and your family.

Father God, in the name of Jesus we come before You together and we lift up this dear one who is tired and needs Your strength. You promise that those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength Isaiah 40:31 and that You will strengthen and uphold us with Your righteous hand Isaiah 41:10. Pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding upon this heart Philippians 4:7, give rest, joy, and renewed hope.

We lift up her son, that You would convict his heart to turn from lying and to walk in truth, that You would give him a spirit of responsibility and diligence to pay his rent and bills on time and to get his life on track according to Your purpose. We lift up her daughter in ###, that You would open the door to a better job that provides for her needs, that You would help her steward her finances well and guide her steps whether to stay or to go, that Your will would be clear and she would seek first Your Kingdom Matthew 6:33.

We lift up her other daughter, that You would give her grace and self control to help her children succeed and to support them financially, emotionally and physically, that You would heal any anger and replace it with Your love and patience, and that You would help her care for herself in a godly way and lead her in Your perfect will regarding where to live. We lift up her nephew, asking for Your healing hand upon him after surgery, that You would restore him and bless him physically, mentally and financially, for You say I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds Jeremiah 30:17.

We lift up her grandsons, that You would keep them from trouble and lead them into good paying jobs, that You would guide one into trade school and the other back to college as You direct their steps, and that You would keep the younger grandsons in school, working diligently, achieving their goals and building a future that honors You. We lift up her granddaughter, that You would help her focus on You, on her schooling, her health and hygiene, and to pursue higher education with diligence and purity. We ask You to keep her grandson safe and secure and to make a way for them to be reunited soon according to Your will. For all these loved ones we ask that You would supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19.

Father, we pray for financial blessing, strength, happiness and success not as the world gives, but as You give, with contentment and peace in Christ. Help this family to trust You, to cast all their worries on You, because You care for us 1 Peter 5:7. Let them see Your hand moving and let their faith be strengthened even while they wait.

We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name, and we trust Your perfect will and timing. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

I prayed for all your requests - including your children (son's salvation) and all loved ones ~ in Jesus' mighty Name Amen.

We hear how tired you are, carrying so many people you love and bringing them to the Lord again and again. It makes sense you would wonder if you are praying wrong when you have prayed so faithfully and the changes you long to see have not come yet.

Praying the same thing over and over is not a failure on your part. It is often a sign of how deeply you love your family and how much you want God near them. He hears you even when the answers feel slow or look different than you hoped. Sometimes He is working in ways we cannot see yet, and He invites us to keep seeking Him Himself, not just the answer.

You are carrying a lot, your son, your daughters, your nephew, your grandchildren, and your own need for peace and strength and provision. You do not have to hold all of that alone every day. One thing that helps many who feel worn down is to choose one or two names each day to lift up simply and honestly, and to let a trusted pastor or friend pray alongside you regularly so the burden is shared.

We are praying with you now.

Father, thank You that You hear this dear parent and grandparent when they call on You. Give rest to a tired heart and remind them they are not fighting alone. Draw near to each child and grandchild they have named, meet their real needs, and give wisdom and steady steps for the days ahead. Give peace, strength and hope, and help them to rest in Your care. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your cry of weariness has come up before the Lord, and He has heard the voice of your supplication. To be tired of fighting battles alone is to be brought to the very place where prayer becomes most precious, for there is a ladder between earth and heaven by which our wants are carried up to God and blessings are brought down again.

You ask, am I praying wrong, or is what I ask not possible. Hear then what the Scripture teaches concerning unanswered prayer. Brethren must not take delays in prayer for denial. God's long dated bills will be punctually honored. Unanswered petitions are not unheard. God keeps a file for our prayers. They are not blown away by the wind, they are treasured in the King's archives, and there is a registry in the court of Heaven where every prayer is recorded. Your sighs and your tears are not fruitless.

Yet we must also search our hearts, for sometimes the cause of unanswered prayer may lie in something connected with sin. It may be a Fatherly chastisement for offenses, or an admonition against sin harbored, and sometimes there may be great sin in the prayer itself when we pray without fervency or with self conceit. No prayer is likely to bring down an immediate answer if it is not a fervent prayer, for the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much, and we must get rid of the icicles that hang about our lips. At other times the Lord withholds an immediate answer not to punish but to strengthen you. He is strengthening your muscles and tendons and sinews by the arduous exercise of unanswered prayer that you may be finely useful in the future. This is the victory which overcomes the world, even your faith.

Therefore set your face unto the Lord God to seek by prayer and supplication. That setting of the face is expressive of resolute purpose, firm determination, undivided attention and fixed resolute perseverance. Cling to Christ and say to Him with that holy boldness which faith gives, I will not let You go except You bless me. Christ loves a great faith. He deserves great faith and when He gets it He is highly pleased. Faith glorifies Him, faith trusts Him, faith lives upon Him, and because faith highly esteems Christ, Christ highly esteems faith. And if your faith feels small, be comforted, for sincere prayer may often be very feeble to us but it is always acceptable to God. Little faith when it finds itself in trouble betakes itself to prayer and cries, Lord, save me. The Holy Spirit is the Creator not of the littleness of our faith but of our faith, be it ever so little, and our Lord acknowledges it.

In this confidence let us bring your household before the throne of grace, pleading only through Jesus Christ our Lord, for there is salvation in no other.

We pray for your son, that the Lord would convict him of the sin of lying, for lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, and grant him a love of truth, diligence in labor, and faithfulness to pay what he owes, for the righteous desire to owe no man anything, and that his life may be ordered aright under the hand of God.

We pray for your daughter who labors in ###, that the Lord in His providence would open a door for honest and better employment if it be His will, and give her wisdom and industry to meet her obligations for rent and debts in due season, and to seek first the kingdom of God in where she dwells.

We pray for your daughter who bears the burden of children, that God would pour out grace to help her children succeed, to provide for them financially, emotionally and physically according to His provision, to put away anger and to speak with gentleness and patience, and to care for her own body and soul as the temple of God, seeking His direction concerning her dwelling in ### or elsewhere.

We pray for your nephew, that the Great Physician would heal him from his surgery, and bless him financially, physically and mentally, restoring him to strength for useful service.

We pray for your grandsons, that the Lord would keep them from the paths of trouble and set their feet in honest work, that one may find a good and upright calling and be fitted for it by trade school, and the other may find profitable labor and return to college if it be for his good, and that the younger ones may stay in school, labor diligently, achieve their goals and build a better future not upon the sand of this world but upon the fear of the Lord which is the beginning of wisdom.

We pray for your granddaughter, that she may be given a sound mind to focus upon herself in modesty and sobriety, upon her schooling and her health and hygiene, and to pursue higher education with diligence and purity.

We pray for your little grandson whom you long to see, that the Lord would keep him safe and secure under His wing until you may embrace him again according to His mercy.

And for yourself, who asks for peace and strength and happiness and financial blessing and success, we ask that the Lord would give you that peace which passes understanding, strength for each day, joy in Christ rather than in circumstances, and such provision as His wisdom sees best, for He knows what you have need of before you ask Him.

Continue in prayer, be diligent in hearing the Word, for faith comes by hearing, and be much in private prayer, for that stirs up the fire and makes it burn more brilliantly. The good work which God has begun in you will be performed until the day of Jesus Christ, and He who has taught you to pray will not leave your prayers unanswered in the way that is best.

May the Lord hear your voice and answer in His time and for His glory, and may you see manifold and manifest answers to prayer to His praise. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope we ask it, Amen.
