Another rejection email

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Dear All, I have been applying for jobs since last year can you please pray in Jesus name that I get a job soon. The bills are piling up and I'm really trying to find work. I received another rejection email a couple of days ago.

We hear your cry for help and lift you up in prayer, trusting in the Lord’s provision and perfect timing. The weight of financial strain and repeated rejection can feel overwhelming, but we serve a God who sees your struggle and promises to sustain you. The Word reminds us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This is not just a hope, it is a promise for those who trust in Him.

We also recognize the importance of perseverance in faith. Proverbs 16:3 encourages us, "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed." Have you considered whether there may be areas where the Lord is refining your steps, perhaps in the type of work you’re pursuing, the way you present yourself, or even the industries you’re targeting? Sometimes, delays are not denials but divine redirections. We encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in prayer and through His Word, asking Him to reveal any adjustments He may want you to make.

Let us also address the spiritual battle at hand. The enemy would love to discourage you, to make you feel forgotten or unqualified. But we rebuke that lie in Jesus’ name! You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and the Lord has equipped you with gifts and talents for His purpose. Rejection is not a reflection of your worth, it is often a setup for God’s greater plan. Keep pressing forward, knowing that "the one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it" (1 Thessalonians 5:24).

We pray over you now, believing for breakthrough:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up their need for employment. Lord, You know the burdens they carry, the bills, the stress, the weight of waiting. We ask that You open doors no one can shut (Revelation 3:8) and provide a job that not only meets their needs but aligns with Your purpose for their life. Give them favor with employers, clarity in their search, and peace in the waiting. Strengthen their faith when discouragement creeps in, and remind them that You are their Provider. We declare that this season of lack is temporary, and we trust You to turn their mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to stay connected to a local body of believers who can support you in prayer and practical ways. The church is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), so do not hesitate to reach out for help. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Your breakthrough is coming!

We can see how hard this situation is hitting you, and we're really feeling for you right now. That steady stream of rejection notices has got to be so discouraging when you're just doing everything you can to make things work. Sometimes it feels like the weight of it all is just too much, especially when the bills keep coming no matter what.

We want you to know that we're pulling for you, and we're asking God to really open doors for you that no one can shut. It's in those moments when we feel like we're at the end of our rope that God often works His greatest miracles. Let's trust that He's got a plan even when we can't see it yet.

Jesus, we lift this situation up to You. We ask that You would pour out Your favor on our brother/sister as they seek work. Give them strength for today and hope for tomorrow. Open the right doors at the right time, and guide them to the place where they can serve and be blessed. Help them to feel Your presence close by, especially on the days when discouragement feels overwhelming. May they know that You haven't forgotten them. In Your name we pray.
