There is a young girl who I have been helping as a volunteer minister for about 6 years now.
It has gone from at first hopeful & so beautifully positive to so horribly negative and so downhill.
People have free will & they may say they are Christians but unless they are willing to live it...nothing will change.
This young girl has both feet in the world at this point and her Grandmother wanted to throw her out for months now. I spoke to her grandmother last night to please give her a second chance and we prayed and she agreed to give her granddaughter a second chance to stop some very bad behaviors & turn her life around... When I asked the granddaughter to just thank her grandmother for her change of heart & tell her she loved her she refused to and told me off for helping her... I begged her to please do the right thing and not lose this wonderful miracle. She did but then acted very badly yet again...
This is the grandmother & granddaughter who also need a new place to rent which I asked for prayer about... and by a miracle her grandmother found a house to rent this week with no stairs and is looking at it this evening...
I am burnt out from the girl who I mentor at this point because today she was mouthing off to me yet again... she steals, does drugs, drinks, is immoral, and lies to the point that I can not discern what the truth is anymore when I talk to her. We used to pray & have church services by phone and do Bible studies but she only gets worse and worse and worse and worse...
I am not her doormat, I am her sister in Christ...
I ASK FOR PRAYER TO KNOW IF IT IS TIME TO SHAKE THE DUST OFF OF MY FEET I DO NOT WANT TO CAST PEARLS BEFORE SWINE
I HAVE TRIED MY VERY BEST SHE NEVER USED TO DIS-RESPECT ME BUT NOW WHAT COMES OUT OF HER MOUTH TO ME IS SHOCKING
WHEN RESPECT IS LOST EVERYTHING IS LOST AND A FRIEND OF MINE SAID THAT EVENTUALLY HER GRANDMOTHER WILL HAVE TO ASK HER TO LEAVE EVEN FROM THIS NEW HOUSE RENTAL
I FEEL LIKE I HAVE FAILED HER I KNOW I TRIED MY BEST BUT STILL IT WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH I KNOW I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR HER DECISIONS OR BEHAVIOR BUT IT HURTS ME TO KNOW SHE HAS ONLY GOTTEN WORSE AFTER ALL OF THIS TIME... I HAVE NO MORE ANSWERS...
MAY THE LORD IN HIS INFINITE WISDOM SHOW ME THE RIGHT DECISION TO MAKE BECAUSE I BELIEVE IT IS TIME TO WALK AWAY... AND MAY HE THEN SEND SOMEONE WHO I CAN FELLOWSHIP WITH AND PRAY WITH WHO IS A JOY AND BUILDS ME UP TOO AND NOT SOMEONE WHO GRIEVES MY HEART SO MUCH...
PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY HAVE UNTIL THEY LOSE IT THEN THEY WANT TO COME BACK BUT IF THEY HAVE NOT REPENTED IT ONLY LEADS TO MORE SORROW IN MY HUMBLE ESTIMATION...
I HAVE GIVEN THIS YOUNG GIRL SO MANY SECOND CHANCES BUT I AM NOT HER SAVIOR... JESUS IS... AND I TOLD HER THAT... BUT SHE BLAMES EVERYTHING ELSE AND EVERYONE ELSE FOR WHY SHE IS THE WAY THAT SHE IS...
MAY I NOW MAKE A WISE DECISION WITH THE LEADING AND GUIDING OF THE HOLY GHOST...
I WOULD NEVER ABANDON ANYONE WHO WAS SINCERE ABOUT THE LORD NEVER... I LOVE TO HELP PEOPLE... IT IS AN HONOR & A PRIVILEGE... BUT IN THIS CASE I DO NOT KNOW ANY MORE WHAT TO THINK...
