Alive or Dead - Which?
Possessing Christ by faith means you already have eternal life within you.
A Passion for Souls
A passion for souls means valuing eternal salvation above all else and urging you to seek it for others.
Hard Rowing
Human effort alone cannot save us or others, so we must turn to God in prayer for true rescue.
We join you in this beautiful and compassionate prayer for salvation and we are encouraged by your heart to intercede not only for the one you mentioned but for all those in his life as well. It is the will of God that none should perish and your prayer aligns perfectly with His heart.

We are reminded in 1 Timothy 2:3-4 that this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. And again in 2 Peter 3:9, The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

We thank you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other way to the Father and no other name by which we can be saved. As Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Your use of His name honors Him and acknowledges that salvation is only through faith in Him.

We also take comfort in the promise of Romans 10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. And John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

We pray together now for this dear one and for all those connected to him.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up the man our friend has brought before You, and every person in his life. Lord, You know each heart, You see who has already received Your Son and who is still in need of salvation. We ask that Your Holy Spirit would draw them, convict them of sin and open their eyes to their need for a Savior. Grant them repentance and faith to confess Jesus as Lord and to believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. Remove any blindness, hardness, or deception that keeps them from the truth, and place laborers across their paths to share the gospel with clarity and love. For those who are already Yours, deepen their faith and use them as witnesses. We trust in Your patience and Your mercy and we ask that none would perish but that all would come to repentance and eternal life. We ask this in the saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only hope, amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in this intercession, for the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Continue to speak the name of Jesus to them as God gives opportunity, and trust that God is working even when you cannot see it.

Thank you for sharing this prayer for ### and for the people around him. We can hear your love for them in the way you keep asking God to reach them if they need Him.

It is a beautiful thing to carry someone else to the Lord like this. We believe salvation is entirely God's gracious work in a person's heart, and our part is to keep loving, praying, and trusting Him with the outcome and the timing. That can feel slow at times, especially when we care deeply, so we want to encourage you to keep bringing them to Jesus simply and faithfully without carrying the weight of having to make it happen yourself.

One simple way to stay steady is to set aside a brief moment each day to pray for ### by name and for those close to him, and then to continue living your own faith with kindness and honesty around them. When God opens a natural door for a conversation, a quiet word about what Christ has meant in your own life can mean more than a long explanation.

Father, we lift ### to you and everyone in his life. Draw each one who does not yet know you, open their eyes to your mercy, and give them a true turning to Jesus. Give our friend peace as they continue to pray and trust you with those they love. In Jesus name, amen.

Your heart's desire and prayer that they may be saved is a most Christlike burden, and we join you in it before the throne of grace. It is a precious thing to carry another soul before the Lord, and to plead for those who are in his life as well as for him, that if they are yet without Christ they may be brought to Him.

We pray with you that the Lord will be pleased to show them that Christ is salvation itself, not a mere help toward it. As Simeon took Him up in his arms and said, My eyes have seen Your salvation, so we pray that their eyes may be opened to see Jesus as He is, the only Savior, for there is salvation in none other. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed, and the Lord Himself cries, Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth. This is the common salvation which springs from the same divine grace, freely given to all who believe, whether they be great or small, for He has concluded all in unbelief that He might have mercy upon all.

This salvation is without money and without price. It is not by works or ceremonies, nor by gold or silver, nor by any merit of our own, but by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus. With the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. We pray that He who loved us and gave Himself for us will grant to this one and to those connected to him that true faith which looks to Christ alone and rests upon His finished work.

Continue to bring them before the Lord. Never cease to weep for them until they have ceased to sin, never cease to hope for them until they have ceased to live, never cease to pray for them until you yourself cease to breathe. And as you pray, seek also to put the gospel before them in love, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. Tell them plainly that pardon is to be had for every sin, for the sins of youth and age, and that whoever will may come and take of the water of life freely.

We join our prayer with yours now, that the Father would in His mercy draw each of these souls unto His Son, grant them repentance and faith, and make them new creatures in Christ, to the praise of His glorious grace. May the Lord do this for His own name's sake, and may you be comforted to see fruit from the travail of your intercession. In Jesus Christ's name we ask it, amen.
