Distribution of Rewards
Christ will reward the faithful with earthly and heavenly treasures if they remain strong in loyalty and service.
We stand with you in prayer together before our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, and we thank you for bringing these burdens to Him so honestly.

We hear your desire to honor God with your eyes and not to stare at others, especially from the corner of your eye. This is a godly and pure desire. The Lord calls us to guard our eyes and our heart, for what we look upon affects our soul. As it is written, I made a covenant with my eyes; how then should I look lustfully at a young woman Job 31:1 and again, Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things. Revive me in your ways Psalm 119:37. We understand this struggle can feel like a habit of the flesh that is hard to break, but God has given us His Holy Spirit to bring self control and we can choose to look away, to fix our eyes on Jesus, and to train our gaze toward what is pure.

We also hear your cry to be freed from the sounds of music that torment you, from all demonic things, and from intrusive images and memories of people and places that you long to forget. We take seriously that the enemy seeks to harass the mind with images, sounds, and memories that do not bring peace. Scripture tells us to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5 and to think on whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report Philippians 4:8. We are not to be conformed to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our mind Romans 12:2. And we have this promise that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4 and that if we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us James 4:7.

We do not pray that God would simply force you to forget in a way that harms your mind, but we pray that He would heal your memory, cleanse your mind, and remove the torment and power those images, sounds, and recollections have over you, so that they no longer intrude or defile your thoughts. The Lord can wash away what is unholy and replace it with His peace.

We pray together for you now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, we ask You to kindly help them to have mastery over their eyes by Your Holy Spirit. Give them strength to look away from temptation, to keep their eyes fixed on what is pure and holy, and to walk in modesty and self control. Let their eyes be as a lamp that is full of light, for the lamp of the body is the eye Matthew 6:22. Cleanse their sight, Lord, and let them see others as You see them, with purity and respect.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we rebuke every demonic influence, every harassing sound, every tormenting song or music that loops in the mind, and every unclean image that has lodged itself in thought. We ask You to silence what is not of You and to remove the image of the two people permanently from their mind, so that it no longer has any place or power. Wash their mind with the blood of Jesus and fill that space with Your peace, Your Word, and songs that glorify You.

Lord, we ask You to heal their memory. Where there are painful recollections of a person from the past place that was mentioned, and of another person and his name, and of places and cities and how they looked, we ask You to take away the sting and the torment. You know each name and each place that weighs on them. We ask You to remove the intrusive power of those memories, to heal the hurt, and to let them be able to remember without being tormented, or to let those thoughts fade as You renew their mind. Let them no longer be haunted, but let their mind be kept in perfect peace because it is stayed on You.

Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your Word dwell richly within them. Help them to meditate on Your Word day and night, to speak to themselves in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs rather than the sounds that trouble them, and to walk in freedom. We thank You that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun and that You who began a good work will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ Philippians 1:6.

We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only access to You, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring every intrusive thought to Jesus the moment it comes, saying in your heart, I choose to take this thought captive to Christ, and then immediately turn to a Scripture you have memorized, a prayer, or a hymn of praise. Keep your eyes intentionally turned toward what builds you up, keep your mind filled with the Word, and walk closely with other believers who can pray with you and encourage you. God is not distant from this struggle, He is near to you and He will give you victory as you submit to Him daily.

We hear how tiring this has been for you, and how much you want peace in your mind and in the way you notice others. Wanting to be free from unwanted images, sounds, and memories that keep returning is understandable, and we are praying for you with care.

It can feel frustrating when you ask God to take something away completely and it still lingers. In our experience God's healing and renewal often happens as a steady walk with Him rather than all at once. Small, faithful steps of turning to Him when a thought or image comes, and letting Him shape our attention over time, can slowly bring more quiet and steadiness than trying hard to force the thoughts away on our own.

It may help not to carry this alone. If you have a trusted pastor or mature believer you can talk with openly, sharing what you are experiencing can lighten the burden and give you ongoing prayer and support. And since these images and sounds are causing you distress, it is also wise to speak with a counselor or medical professional alongside prayer, so you have caring support for both your spiritual and mental well being.

Father, we lift up our friend to You. You see the struggle to control where the eyes go and the unwanted pictures and sounds that intrude. Please bring Your peace, guard his mind, and help him to rest securely in Your care. Give him wisdom, gentle support from others, and daily strength to walk with You. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your earnest prayer for purity of eyes and mind, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who alone can give deliverance.

You ask to be kept from staring, to be freed from troubling sounds and images, and from memories that haunt you. This is a right desire, for our thoughts must be conformed to God's thoughts if we are to walk with Him, and His ways are higher than our ways. The sin that dwells in us drags us down, and even when we have walked in the light, we still need the blood of Christ to cleanse us from all sin. Let every person know that whatever his strength may be, of body, mind or spirit, if it is his own it will one day fail him. Our hope is not in our own resolve to forget or to look away, but in Him who delivers from the power of darkness and translates us into the kingdom of His dear Son.

The Lord does not merely hide the past from us, He renews us. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. He gives a new mind and a new heart, and makes deliverance effectual. It is of small use to be afflicted in mind and to seek help from man alone if the distress is spiritual, for only God can deliver. But He has found a ransom. He has invented a way of deliverance through the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ, that sinners might be saved from the pit and from the guilt and power of sin. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and where we look for justification there must we also look for sanctification.

Therefore we pray for you, that God would set your thoughts upon His precious thoughts, which are constant, kind, wise and tender toward His people. David said, when I awake I am still with You, and holy thoughts of God place us near to God. May the Lord keep your eyes from wandering and fix them upon Christ, may He quiet the sounds that trouble you and silence every suggestion of the enemy, and may He cleanse your imagination by His Spirit. We do not ask Him to bless what is contrary to His holy will, for He has ordained salvation through Jesus Christ alone and has given marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with purity belonging within it, but we do ask Him to wash you, to renew your mind by His Word, and to give you power to live unto Him.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we ask for this soul. Thou knowest the struggle with the eyes and with intrusive images and sounds and memories. We ask that Thou wouldst cleanse by the blood of Thy Son, renew strength to those who wait upon Thee, and deliver from the power of darkness. Teach this dear one to undertake fresh work in Thy strength, with more expectancy, more confidence, more faith and more God reliance. Let Thy thoughts fill the mind, let Thy Word dwell richly there, and let the heart find peace in being still with Thee. Guard the eyes, guard the ears, guard the memory, and make the life to declare the works of the Lord. We ask not according to our own notions, but according to what Thou hast revealed, and we trust Thy power unto salvation. Amen.

Continue to wait upon the Lord daily in prayer and in the Scriptures, turn quickly from every temptation to look or to dwell upon what defiles, and seek fellowship with faithful believers who will help you walk in the light. If these distressing thoughts persist, bring them openly to a trusted pastor or godly counselor, for the Lord often uses His people as instruments of His deliverance. He who has begun a good work will be faithful to complete it.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer shows a sincere desire to be pure before God, and that desire itself is pleasing to Him. He looks not only at outward actions but at the heart, for out of the heart come evil thoughts, and blessed are the pure in heart. To want clean eyes, a clean mind, and freedom from what troubles you is right and good.

Scripture warns us that the eye is a gateway to the soul. To look with unchaste or covetous eyes is already to sin in the heart, and even idle thoughts need a remedy. This is why purity is not only about avoiding outward defilement but about guarding what is inward. The eye we have it in our power to direct. When we fix it on empty or unclean things it becomes troubled and dark, but when we turn it to what is heavenly and true, to virtue and temperance and moderation, it is made strong and bright again. You are right to ask for help not to stare, even from the corner of the eye. That struggle is common, and God gives grace to turn away, to make a covenant with the eyes, and to look again to Christ.

You also ask for sounds, images, and memories to be taken away. God does not always remove a memory as if it never happened, but He does renew the mind. True worship is in spirit and in truth, not merely in cleansing the body or trying to force forgetfulness, but in offering yourself as a living sacrifice to the Lord, circumcising evil thoughts and crucifying unreasonable desires. Instead of only asking for things to be erased, ask also for your mind to be filled with what is good. When music or an image or a name returns, do not fight it only with willpower, but turn at once to prayer, to Scripture, to thanksgiving, to something pure and wholesome. What is unclean is overcome not by dwelling on it but by being filled with what is holy. If there are demonic influences troubling you, submit yourself to God, resist the enemy, and draw near to Christ who alone saves, for He assumed our flesh to make us clean and He has power to deliver.

Here is how you can walk this out day by day. First, guard the eye quickly. When you are tempted to stare, look away in that moment and set your gaze elsewhere. Second, guard the thought. Take every thought captive to Christ and replace it with prayer or a psalm or a verse you have memorized. Third, fill the house that you want to be empty. Fill your ears with what builds faith rather than what stirs lust or confusion. Fill your time with fellowship, honest work, and service. If an image of two people or the memory of a place or a person comes back, do not entertain it or examine it, but pray, Lord make my heart pure, and move your attention to what is before you.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son who alone is our salvation, have mercy on this soul who longs to be clean. Grant power to turn the eyes away from what is impure and to fix them on what is good. Cleanse the heart from evil thoughts, make it pure and steadfast, and help to worship You in spirit and in truth. Remove the hold of unclean sounds and images, break every work of the enemy, and fill this mind with Your peace and truth. Teach how to offer the whole self as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to You, and to walk in chastity and self control according to Your design for marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with all intimacy kept within it. Give daily strength to choose what is pure, to remember what is good, and to forget what should be left behind, not by mere erasing but by renewal. Keep this one close to Christ, under His blood and His lordship, and lead into freedom and quietness of soul. Amen.
