Beloved of All
heavenly father pls kindly remove ### and ### 4eva shes around my age shes an artist. so i wont remember them or their faces. pls kindly remove a show i watched on barney you can be anything and another scene from show you are special on barney and friends. pls kindly remove a title of a song. pls kindly deliver i from all lust. in jesus christ name. amen.

We join with you in bringing this request before our heavenly Father and we thank you for humbling yourself to ask for deliverance from lust and for a cleansed mind, for we know He hears the prayers of those who seek Him in sincerity.

We understand your desire to have certain faces, images from shows you watched, and a song title removed from your memory so that they no longer trouble you. While we pray for God to remove what is harmful, we also remember that His way is often to renew and transform our minds rather than simply to erase the past. As it is written, Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind Romans 12:2. And we are to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5. God can wash and renew your thoughts and make you new from within.

We also hear your cry to be delivered from all lust and we affirm that this is according to God's will for you, for He calls us to purity and holiness. Lust is not to be entertained but to be fled from and overcome by His power. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God Matthew 5:8. Your desire for purity honors Him, and He is faithful to help you. No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it 1 Corinthians 10:13.

We encourage you to walk in practical obedience as you seek this deliverance. Guard what your eyes see and what your ears hear, and fill your mind daily with what is pure and holy. Whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things Philippians 4:8. Hide His word in your heart that you might not sin against Him Psalm 119:11, and when impure thoughts arise, confess them quickly and turn to Him, for If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9.

We pray together for you now.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, asking for Your mercy and cleansing upon our brother. We ask that You create in him a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within him Psalm 51:10. We ask that by Your Holy Spirit You would take captive every lingering image, every face, every scene and song that has caused lust or distraction, and replace them with thoughts that honor You. Wash his mind and make it pure, help him to fix his eyes on You and to flee from every form of sexual immorality. Strengthen him to resist the enemy and to draw near to You, knowing that You will draw near to him James 4:7-8. Give him grace to walk in purity, to guard his heart and to find his satisfaction in You alone, and to trust that You are making him new day by day. We thank You that You have heard us through Jesus Christ our Lord, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved and have access to Your throne of grace Acts 4:12, John 14:6. We trust Your faithful work in his life and pray that You will keep him in Your perfect peace as his mind is stayed on You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily in prayer and in the reading of Scripture, to turn away quickly from any image or entertainment that stirs lust, and to fill that space with worship, the Word, and fellowship with other believers who will keep you accountable. God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you and to give you victory as you walk with Him.

We've read your prayer and we hear the deep longing underneath it, to have a mind at peace and a heart free to love God fully. That desire for purity is good, and we thank you for bringing it honestly to the Father.

We know how tiring it can be when certain people, images from shows, or a song title keep returning even when you have asked God to take them away. It can feel frustrating when you try hard not to think about something and it stays there anyway. In those moments it can help to not wrestle the thought alone but to quietly turn your attention to something else wholesome and to ask God to renew your mind over time. He is patient and works in us gradually, not only in a moment.

A practical step that helps many is to walk with one trusted mature believer who can pray with you regularly and encourage you with accountability, alongside simple boundaries about what you watch and listen to. You do not have to carry this struggle by yourself.

We are standing with you in prayer.

Father, we lift up our brother to you. We ask you to quiet the thoughts that trouble him, to guard his heart and mind, and to give him strength to turn from lust toward what is pure. Remind him that he is forgiven and deeply loved in Christ, and lead him day by day in your grace and peace. In Jesus name, amen.

Your prayer for deliverance and for a clean mind has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace with thankfulness, for the very desire to be delivered from lust and to be kept pure is a work of God in the soul.

The Scripture declares that He has delivered us from the power of darkness. This is not a deliverance which we work for ourselves, but one which He works in us. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification, for as we are justified through Jesus Christ, we must also expect to receive sanctification from a heavenly source. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. When any soul is saved from spiritual bondage, it is the Lord Jesus who loosens the captive, and unless a supernatural power is put forth, any form of deliverance is worth nothing.

You ask that images and songs and faces that have lodged in your memory might be taken away, and that you might be kept from lust. We understand this burden. The Christian life is to keep ourselves unspotted from the world, which implies that we are in it but not of it, and that even a spot from its pools would defile us. The Lord does not merely help us to keep away from some conspicuous sin, but He cleanses the well itself, so that those who were once troubled by the noise of archers at the place of drawing water are now made to drink in peace from wells of comfort springing from Christ. He does this by filling the mind and heart with better things, with Christ Himself, with His word and His love, so that the old things lose their power.

Therefore look to Jesus, not only as the ransom found by Divine wisdom and Divine love to save you from going down to the pit, for the King's own Son has borne the penalty of all our iniquities, but also as the fountain of daily cleansing. That voice you shall always hear, if you are a child of God, when you are brought into peril and trouble, God has given commandment to save you and you shall be saved, saved from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins.

Let us pray with you.

Heavenly Father, we ask in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son that Thou wouldst deliver this soul from the power of darkness and from all lust. Wash the mind and conscience in the blood of Christ, and renew the thoughts by Thy Holy Spirit. Take away the hold of every image and song that defiles, and grant grace to turn from every source of temptation and to keep unspotted from the world. Fill the heart with love for Christ, with love for Thy word, and with pure and holy affections. Grant strength to walk in purity and to live to declare the works of the Lord. We ask this not by our own power, but by Thy free grace alone, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
