We join with you in bringing this request before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, and we thank you for closing your prayer in His name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved as Acts 4:12 reminds us.
Though your request is brief and we do not fully know the details of the title and the something else you are asking God to remove, our Father knows completely what weighs on your heart. We take comfort that He hears us when we pray according to His will as 1 John 5:14 says, and that we can cast all our cares on Him because He cares for us as 1 Peter 5:7 tells us.
We understand the desire to have a label or burden lifted, especially if it relates to an identity as an artist or another area that may feel heavy or distracting from who you are in Christ. Scripture reminds us not to be conformed to this world but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds so that we may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God in Romans 12:2, and that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation in 2 Corinthians 5:17. Your brief prayer has been laid before the Lord with care, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking His gracious will.
There are times when our strength, whether of body, mind or spirit, fails us, for if it is our own it will one day give way. Sin that dwells in us drags us down, and we need daily renewing. The promise stands sure that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. To wait upon Him is not to sit in idle wishing, but to trust, to expect, to lean with confidence and faith upon His arm, looking to Him to undertake fresh work in us and for us.
We do not know all that is meant by a title of an artist and something else that lies upon your heart, but the Lord knows it fully. He hears the broken and imperfect cry, and His ear is not shut to those who seek Him through Jesus Christ. Deliverance is His own work. He brought forth His people of old when the lamb was slain, and He still brings forth His own by free grace. It was His own mind that devised the way of salvation by a ransom, and He has found that ransom in the substitutionary sacrifice of His Son. No one can deliver himself, but what man cannot do, God has done.
We pray now for you, that the Lord would in His wisdom remove what ought to be removed, and keep what ought to be kept, and give you peace in submission to His perfect will. May He cleanse the conscience by the blood of Christ, lift the burden that troubles you, and turn your thoughts from empty titles and passing things to that which endures. If there is anything in this matter that would draw you from holiness or from communion with Christ, may He graciously take it away.
