Beloved of All
Your prayer has been heard and I want to join you in seeking the Lord with you. When a request comes in writing we do not hear the tone of voice behind it, so we may not fully grasp every detail you carry in your heart, but God knows completely what you mean and what you need.
At the center of every troubled situation with other people is our relationship with God. When that vertical relationship is out of balance, all of our horizontal relationships become out of balance as well. Marriages, family ties, friendships and other connections so easily become tangled and painful. Treating only the symptoms between people will not bring lasting peace. What must be set right first is our walk with the Lord, putting Him first, loving Him above all else, and having no other gods before Him. When the heart is surrendered to Him and that relationship is made right, He has a way of bringing the other relationships into order and balance in His time and way.
For that reason I encourage you to bring this matter to Him not only as a request for removal, but as a surrender to His will. Ask Him to search your own heart, to show you what is pleasing to Him, and to align your desires with His Word. If there are people or influences that need to be removed, trust Him to do what is right and holy. If there are things in your own life that need to be cleansed or corrected, invite Him to do that work as well. His purpose is not simply to change our circumstances but to make us more like Christ.
Learning to wait upon God is one of the hardest lessons, and you are not alone in finding it difficult. We often want deliverance right now, while God often works more slowly than we would choose. Yet Scripture reminds us that our soul can wait quietly upon God, for salvation comes from Him. He is a rock and refuge even when the night feels rocky and uncertain and the future is unclear. Waiting is not doing nothing, it is trusting His wisdom and timing above our own urgency.
Remember also that our deepest struggle is spiritual. The enemy would like to draw us into fighting in the flesh, with anger, manipulation or striving, where we are at a disadvantage. God calls us to fight in the spirit, with prayer, with His Word, with faith and obedience, where Christ has already given us the advantage.
So let us pray together that God will be at the center of this situation. May He be Lord over every relationship and every place you mentioned. May He remove what should be removed according to His holy will, and may He keep what should be kept and make it healthy according to His Word. May He give you wisdom, patience, and a deeper love for Jesus, who alone is the way of salvation. And may He guard your heart from seeking any path outside His design for purity and faithfulness, which He gave for our good, including His design that intimate life belongs within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman.
Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this dear one before You. You know the names and places that were not fully expressed and the burden behind this prayer. Put Yourself first in this life. Correct what needs correcting, heal what is broken, remove what is harmful in Your sight, and establish what honors You. Teach waiting and trust, and let every other relationship find its proper place as this heart rests in You. Amen.
