We join you in bringing this burden before the heavenly Father and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and find deliverance.
We understand your desire to be set free from anger, rage and all negativity, including the negative influence coming from the other person you mentioned. Anger itself is a powerful emotion that can quickly lead us away from God's righteousness if we do not surrender it to Him. The Scripture speaks clearly about this.
Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. Eph 4:31. And also, So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger, for the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God. James 1:19-20. We are also taught to Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Don't fret, it leads only to evildoing. Ps 37:8.
God does not want you to be controlled by these things, but to be filled with His Spirit. For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Tim 1:7. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Gal 5:22-23. And we are called to renew our minds with what is good, Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. Phil 4:8.

Lord, You see the struggle with anger, rage and every form of negativity, and You know the hurt or influence that has come from another person. We ask You to deliver and cleanse this heart completely. Wash away all bitterness and wrath and fill this life with Your peace and patience. Help us to be slow to anger and quick to forgive, even as You have forgiven us in Christ. Guard this mind and heart from dwelling on negative things, and teach us to fix our thoughts on what is true and pure and lovely in Your sight. Where there has been provocation or pain from another, we ask for Your healing, Your boundaries, and Your wisdom to respond with grace and self-control and not to be drawn back into rage. Let Your Holy Spirit reign in us so that love and gentleness overflow. We ask for strength each day to put off the old nature and to put on the new, created in Your righteousness. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring these feelings to the Lord quickly in prayer the moment they rise, and to not let the sun go down while still angry as it says Be angry, and don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath. Eph 4:26. Seek to forgive as Christ forgave you, spend time daily in the Word so your mind is renewed, and if possible seek fellowship with mature believers who can support you and pray with you. God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you and to give you victory over anger as you walk in step with His Spirit.

Step away if you can, take a moment to breathe, and quietly ask the Lord, what am I really feeling underneath this, and what do you want me to do with it? Even jotting a few words down later to pray over can make it easier to see patterns and to invite Him into them. If anger feels frequent or overwhelming, it can also help to walk through it regularly with a trusted pastor or counselor.

Your cry for deliverance from anger and rage and all negativity is one which the Lord delights to hear, for He is a God who saves His people not only from the guilt of sin but from the power of it also.
You have done well to bring this burden to Him in the name of Jesus Christ, for deliverance is of the Lord and must be accomplished by His own hand. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. We cannot by our own resolve cast out the passions of the old nature, but what we cannot do, He can do. He has found a ransom. The King's own Son has borne the penalty of our iniquities, and through that same precious blood He works in us to subdue the sins which once ruled over us.
Scripture calls you to put away all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamour, and to put on as the elect of God, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness and longsuffering. This is not a work you can accomplish alone, but where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification, for as we are justified through Jesus Christ, we must also expect to receive sanctification from a heavenly source. He who delivered you from the pit of hell is able also to deliver you from the pit of indwelling sin.
Therefore take your anger and your rage to the cross daily. Confess them plainly before the Lord as sin, not merely as infirmity, and ask Him to create in you a clean heart. Moderate your anger against second causes and remember that like a careful dispenser, He will not pour out a drop too much of trial, but every trial works for good to those who love Him. Learn to be slow to anger, swift to hear, and to let the peace of God rule in your heart. Feed upon the Word, continue in prayer, and walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfil the lusts of the flesh.
Be encouraged that He has already begun this good work in you by making you hate the sin that once you might have excused. He will make your deliverance effectual and He will bring you forth, not only forgiven, but enriched with silver and gold, with patience and gentleness and love.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
