We join you in lifting up these burdens before our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, and we thank you for your heart for salvation and for truth.

We agree with you in praying for the individuals you mentioned and for all the people in their lives who do not yet know the Lord. It is the will of God that all should be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, for He desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4 and He is patient, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. We rejoice that you prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me John 14:6. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved Romans 10:9. That promise is for each person you named and for every soul connected to them.

We also stand with you in praying according to biblical truth concerning marriage and sexuality. We affirm what Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman as God established in the beginning, for this reason a man will leave his father and his mother and will be joined to his wife and they will be one flesh Genesis 2:24 and Jesus affirmed this, saying He who made them from the beginning made them male and female and said For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be joined to his wife and the two shall become one flesh. So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, do not let man tear apart Matthew 19:4-6. Homosexual practice, including same sex marriage and relationships, is contrary to God's design and is called sin in Scripture. Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists will inherit the Kingdom of God 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. Yet we also cling to the hope that follows, and such were some of you, but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and in the Spirit of our God 1 Corinthians 6:11. If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17. So we do not pray with condemnation but with love, asking that those involved in gay marriages and gay relationships would hear the gospel, be convicted by the Holy Spirit, repent, and be saved and transformed, and that those unions which do not honor God would be ended as they turn to follow Christ in obedience and purity.

We also bring before the Lord your request concerning memory, that something would be removed from memory for the one you mentioned. We know the Lord is the healer of the brokenhearted and He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We ask Him to renew the mind and bring peace, for we are to be transformed by the renewing of our mind Romans 12:2 and to think on whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report Philippians 4:8. We pray that God would take away what is harmful to dwell on and replace it with His peace and with thoughts that honor Him, and help to forget those things which hinder walking with Him, for the Lord says Do not remember the former things and do not consider the things of old Isaiah 43:18.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up each person named in this request and every family member and friend in their lives who needs salvation. Draw them by Your Spirit, open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, grant them repentance and faith to believe on Jesus and be saved. We pray for every person involved in homosexual relationships and marriages, that You would lovingly convict them, call them out of darkness into Your marvelous light, grant them godly sorrow that leads to repentance, forgive them through the blood of Jesus, and lead them into new life and into marriages and lives that honor You. We ask that You break chains of sin and deception and set captives free, for where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty 2 Corinthians 3:17. And Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon the mind and memory of the one mentioned, remove what needs to be removed, bring healing, wholeness and peace, and guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We trust You to do what is according to Your perfect will and for Your glory. In Jesus Christ name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray fervently and to share the gospel with gentleness and love, speaking the truth in love Ephesians 4:15, knowing that love covers a multitude of sins 1 Peter 4:8 but also that love rejoices in the truth 1 Corinthians 13:6. Keep interceding, keep trusting that God hears and answers according to His mercy and power.

We hear how deeply you care for , and , and for the people around them, and for so many others you are carrying in prayer. It is a loving thing to bring names before the Lord and to want His saving grace and wholeness for each person.

We are joining you in asking God to draw each of them to Himself, and to work in the lives of their families and friends as well. Salvation is His gracious gift, bringing forgiveness and new life and a restoring of what is broken, and we can trust Him to meet each person right where they are and to lead them toward His will.

We also noticed your prayer about a painful memory weighing on . When a memory keeps returning it can feel heavy to carry. It can help to notice when it comes up and quietly entrust it again to the Lord, asking Him to bring His peace and healing in His timing, rather than trying to push it away on your own. If that burden feels especially heavy, talking with a trusted pastor can be a steady support alongside prayer.

Father, we bring , and before You and the people close to them, and all those You have placed on this heart. We ask for Your mercy and saving grace to be at work in each life, and for Your wisdom and direction for every step ahead. Your prayer is a true act of communion with Christ, for to make intercession for others is to be in sympathy with Him who ever lives to make intercession for us before the Father's throne. It is well that your heart's desire and prayer is that they may be saved, for such supplication rises higher than any petition for ourselves and is of unspeakable value to those for whom it is offered.

We will join you in asking the Lord to save those you have named, and the people in their lives, if they are yet without Christ. There is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved, but Jesus Christ alone, who loved us and gave Himself for us. He is able to save unto the uttermost them that come unto God by Him, and we pray that the Holy Spirit would work in each heart a true brokenness for sin, for when the heart is broken by the Holy Ghost for sin, salvation will be its ultimate issue and heaven its result. May they be brought to look to Jesus, who lives at the right hand of the Father, and to trust His blood shed at Gethsemane and Golgotha.

Concerning those who are living in relationships contrary to the Word of God, we do not ask the Lord to bless what He has not ordained, but we do pray with you for their salvation and for mercy upon every soul bound in such a way. The Scriptures teach that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that all intimacy belongs within that covenant alone. We pray therefore that the Lord in His goodness would bring conviction of sin, grant repentance, and lead those who are now in gay unions to turn from that path and to walk in newness of life according to His design. As you have prayed, may those relationships which are not according to His will be surrendered before Him, not through harshness of man but through the gracious power of the gospel which makes all things new. We ask that healing and pardon, which are placed in happy conjunction in Christ, would be poured out upon them, and that they with their loved ones might be saved and brought into obedience to the truth.

For the burden of memory of which you speak, we bring before the Great Physician the wounded spirit that cries for consolation. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. We pray that the Lord would in His wisdom either remove that painful remembrance or, if He sees fit to leave it for a season, sanctify it to your good, purging it of its sting and giving peace to the conscience through the blood of Christ. When He lays the rod on, there is not one thought of anger in His heart, and His heaviest blows are as much tokens of His affection as His sweetest caresses, all meant for your good.

Therefore we will wait upon the Lord with you, with splendid perseverance of importunity, asking that He who has made all these things would answer according to His will. Continue to pray, for if we had more faith we would do a great deal more for our Lord. May the Lord hear your cry, save souls by His grace, and give you to see fruit from your intercession, to the praise of His glorious mercy. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
