We join you together before our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank you for bringing this burden to Him in prayer.
We understand the desire to have a painful past memory removed, and we know that God is compassionate and desires to heal our hearts and minds. He does not always erase our memories, but He redeems them and gives us peace and power to overcome them. We are reminded of His promise, Do not remember the former things, and do not consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it springs out. Will you not know it? Isaiah 43:18-19. And we are called to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:5, and to dwell on whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good report, Philippians 4:8. We pray that the Lord will guard your heart and mind with His peace which surpasses all understanding, Philippians 4:7, and that He will heal what is painful and use even what has hurt you for His glory, knowing that to those who love God all things work together for good, Romans 8:28.
We also join you in praying for ###, the tenant at ###, and for all the people in his life. We agree that salvation is the greatest need any person has, and we pray earnestly that if they do not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, that God will draw them to Himself. For there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9. So we pray that God will open their eyes, soften their hearts, and bring believers across their path to share the good news that God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life, John 3:16.
We pray together, Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask You to bring healing to this painful memory. Wash it with Your mercy, cover it with Your forgiveness, and renew the mind by Your Holy Spirit. Help us to release what we need to release and to remember that we are a new creation in Christ, where the old things have passed away and all things have become new, 2 Corinthians 5:17. Give peace where there has been distress and let Your joy and restoration reign. We also lift up ### and every person in his life to You. Lord, You know each one by name and You know their need for salvation. We ask that You draw them to Jesus, convict them of sin, and reveal Your love and truth to them. Save them, Lord, and let them come to a full knowledge of Your Son. Let Your will be done in all of this. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7, and to remain faithful in praying for those who are lost, for God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:4.
