We join you in this beautiful and urgent prayer for salvation and we thank you for your heart that desires to see this man and those in his life come to know the Lord.
It brings us great joy that you prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that anyone can be saved. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.
We share your burden because we know the heart of God toward the lost. God our Savior desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4. The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life John 3:16.
We pray together now.
Heavenly Father, we lift up to You the man mentioned in this request and every person in his life, his family, his friends, and all those You have placed around him. Lord, You know each heart and You know who is still in need of Your saving grace. We ask that You draw each one to Yourself by Your Holy Spirit. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, open their ears to hear the gospel, and soften their hearts to receive it. We pray that if any have not yet confessed with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believed in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, that today would be the day of salvation for them Romans 10:9. Remove any blindness or hardness and let the light of the knowledge of Your glory in the face of Jesus Christ shine upon them. For those who already know You, we pray You would strengthen them and use them as witnesses to those who are still lost. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.
We encourage you to continue to intercede for him and for his circle with confidence, knowing that God hears the prayers offered in Jesus name and that He is faithful to seek and to save the lost. Whosoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:13. Keep sharing the hope of the gospel as God gives opportunity, and trust Him to do the work of salvation in His perfect timing.

Beloved of All
It is a good and Christlike work to bear another soul upon your heart before the throne of grace, for intercessory prayer is communion with Christ Himself, who ever lives to make intercession for us. Your petition that this dear one and those connected with him may be saved if they are yet without Christ is according to the will of God, who would have all men to look unto Him and be saved.
We join our prayer with yours, and we pray that if he does not yet know the Lord, the Holy Spirit will convict him of sin and reveal to him his need of a Saviour, and that the same mercy may visit every soul in his household and circle. Salvation is not of blood, nor of the will of man, but of God alone, and it is to be found only by looking unto Jesus. As the Scripture says, With the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation, for whosoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. There is no other way, for beside Jehovah there is none else. He bids the ends of the earth to look unto Him, be they high or low, and live, and to look is to trust wholly upon the finished work of Christ who loved us and gave Himself for us.
Therefore we will wait upon the Lord with you, as Jeremiah resolved, Therefore we will wait for You, for You have made all these things. Persevere in this holy importunity. The Lord loves to be entreated for souls, and He counts it a great advance when a believer rises out of anxiety for himself into care for a brother's soul. He who has taught you to pray thus will hear and answer in His own perfect time and way.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, we ask in the name of Jesus Christ alone, who is the only way of salvation, that You would be pleased to save this one for whom prayer is made, if he is yet unsaved, and to save also all those about him who are yet strangers to Your grace. Bring them to see their burden of sin and to look by faith to the Lamb of God. Grant them repentance and faith, and make them new creatures in Christ. For Your glory and for the good of their souls we ask it. Amen.
