I prayed for this request in Jesus Name. Amen.
We join with you in bringing this request before our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, and we thank you for coming in His name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the throne of grace.
We understand how a song title or a lyric can become lodged in the mind and become a distraction or even a torment, replaying over and over when we long for peace. Our Father cares about every detail of our thoughts and desires to give us a mind that is stayed on Him. We are reminded in Isaiah 26:3 that You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. And in Philippians 4:8 we are taught, Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things.
We also hear the call in 2 Corinthians 10:5 to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and in Psalm 19:14 to pray, Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, Yahweh, my rock, and my redeemer. We see this request as a desire for that kind of cleansing and renewal of the mind, which is pleasing to God, and we want to encourage you to not only ask for this title to be removed, but to actively fill that space with what honors Him. As Romans 12:2 tells us, Be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You know the song title that has been troubling this mind, and You know the desire to have it removed permanently. We ask in Jesus' name that You would cleanse the mind and take away this repetitive thought, that You would break its hold and grant perfect peace. Fill this heart and mind instead with Your Word, with worship that glorifies You, and with thoughts that are pure and lovely and of good report. Help our dear friend to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ and to meditate on Your goodness throughout the day and night. Let the meditation of this heart be acceptable in Your sight. We trust that You hear us because we pray in the name of Your Son Jesus, our Savior and mediator. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to guard your mind by speaking Scripture aloud when the title returns, by turning to hymns and worship songs that exalt Christ, and by praying immediately, even a short prayer in Jesus' name, to redirect your thoughts to Him. God is faithful to renew our minds as we stay close to Him.

We hear how much you want this song title gone, and how tired you must be of it looping in your mind. It is wearying when a small phrase gets stuck and will not leave you alone, and we are glad you brought it to the Lord so honestly.
We have found that trying hard to force a thought away can sometimes make it stick more. What often helps more gently is giving your mind something else good to turn toward when it surfaces. Worship can be especially steadying that way, not because it is a distraction, but because it lifts our attention off the nagging thought and back to the Lord who is with us and for us. Many people find it helps to have one hymn or chorus they love ready, so when the unwanted title comes, they can quietly pray or hum that instead and keep going with their day.
If it keeps returning, try not to be discouraged or harsh with yourself. Just notice it, offer a brief prayer, and turn again to what is true and lovely before you.

Your prayer concerning this song title which troubles your mind has been heard, and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace.
It is a small thing in the eyes of men to be haunted by a phrase or a tune, yet we know how such a thing can insinuate dark and haunting thoughts and hold the mind as under a taskmaster. The Lord knows our thoughts and His thoughts toward us are precious and constant and kind. As it is written, My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. What comfort is there in this, that the mind of God is set upon His people for good, and His thoughts are wise and tender and perfect.
We pray that the Lord in His mercy would grant you deliverance and renew your strength. Our own strength will fail us, and our own thoughts cannot cleanse us, but He who is God from everlasting can make all things new. The blood of Christ cleanses from all sin, and the same grace that delivers from the pit also delivers from the power of darkness that would keep the mind in bondage. Only God can deliver the soul that is afflicted in mind, and He makes that deliverance effectual when we trust in the ransom He has found, even His own Son who bore the penalty for us.

We ask Thee to remove this title of a song from our friend's thoughts permanently, as far as it is Thy will, and to grant peace to the mind. Take away that which distracts and defiles, and fill the heart instead with Thy precious thoughts. Help Thy child to think upon what Thou hast revealed, to set the mind upon Thy Word, and to be conformed to Thy thoughts by faith. Renew strength in waiting upon Thee, and grant a nobler tune, that fresh work may be done with more confidence and more God reliance, and that the lips may sing songs of deliverance for the greater salvation wrought by the Lord Jesus Christ. Keep this one near to Thyself, so that waking and sleeping it may be said, I am still with Thee. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we ask it. Amen.
