We join with you in prayer and we are encouraged by your heart for the salvation of others and your desire for purity in what you allow before your eyes. God knows exactly who you are lifting up even when you describe them simply as a republican, a swimmer, and an employee, and He knows the people in their lives by name. He also knows the videos and shows that have troubled you and what you mean when you ask for them to be removed.

We thank you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that anyone can be saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12

Your prayer aligns with the heart of God, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:3-4. The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9. So we can pray with confidence that God hears your intercession for these souls.

We also affirm your desire to turn away from unhelpful or impure media. We are called to guard our hearts and minds, for I will set no vile thing before my eyes. Psalm 101:3 and Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8. When something causes us to stumble or distracts us from Christ, it is right to ask God to remove its influence from our lives and to help us walk in holiness. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Matthew 5:8

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. We lift up to You the republican You have placed on this dear one's heart, the swimmer, and the employee, and every person in their lives. You know each of them intimately, You see their needs, their struggles, and the state of their souls. If any of them is in need of salvation, we ask that You draw them to Yourself by Your Holy Spirit, open their eyes to their need for a Savior, grant them repentance and faith to believe that Jesus died for their sins and rose again, and that they may confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead. Romans 10:9. Save them, Lord, and bring them into Your family.

We also ask for Your cleansing and protection over our brother or sister who prayed this prayer. Where there are images, videos, and shows that do not honor You, we ask that You remove their influence, help to turn away from them completely, and renew the mind according to Your Word. Give strength to choose what is pure and lovely, and fill that space with Your peace and truth. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, and help us to fix our eyes on Jesus.

We thank You that You hear us when we pray according to Your will and that You desire all to be saved. Continue to give this intercessor a burden to pray and a boldness to share the gospel when You open the door. We trust these requests into Your loving and sovereign hands. We appreciate your heart to pray for others to know Jesus. It is a beautiful thing to carry a republican, a swimmer, a coworker and the people around them before the Father, asking that any who do not yet know Him would come to know His grace. We join you in that.

It is a gracious sign when the Lord writes intercession upon the heart, and your prayer for the souls of others shows that His Spirit is at work within you. To care for the salvation of another, be he a republican or a swimmer or a fellow labourer, and for all those that are round about them, is to be in sympathy with our great High Priest who ever liveth to make intercession for transgressors. Such prayer is according to the will of God, for He that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit.

You have asked well, for there is no salvation to be obtained anywhere but in Christ Jesus. There is no other name, no priest, no form nor ceremony that can save. Salvation is of the Lord alone, and His way is simple and sure. The Scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. Look unto Him and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, for a look does not require a moment and yet it brings eternal life. For all that come to God by Him there is certain and eternal salvation. This is the plain gospel of salvation by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus, that if a man believeth in Christ with all his heart, his salvation is secure.

Therefore let us pray together that the Lord will be pleased to show mercy to each soul you have named and to all that belong to them, that He would open their eyes to their need and draw them to look to Christ alone. And let us ask the Holy Spirit to make intercession within us with a force beyond our poor weak thoughts, that our prayers may be shaped by the mind of God and not merely by our own desires. Like Samuel of old, let us not cease to pray for others, and let us also be ready, as God gives opportunity, to tell them plainly what their condition is and what the way of salvation is and how they may find rest in Jesus.

Concerning those things which trouble your mind, the images and shows and videos which you desire to have removed, hear what the prophet saith, My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the Lord, for as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. Our thoughts must be conformed to God's thoughts if we would walk with Him and have fellowship with Him. It is wise and holy to ask the Lord to cleanse the mind and to take away that which defiles or distracts the soul, and to keep our thoughts precious by meditating upon His thoughts which are constant, kind, wise and gracious toward us. Ask Him to set your mind upon Christ, to help you to turn from every refuge of lies and to find your delight in those things which are pure and of good report, and to trust Him to do what is according to His perfect will.

May the Lord hear your supplication and keep you watching unto prayer with perseverance. May He grant to you and to those for whom you pray that you may look to Jesus and live, and when you awake may you still be with Him, kept near to God by holy thoughts of His precious mercy.

We will join you in prayer: Heavenly Father, look in mercy upon each soul here brought before Thee, and upon all connected with them, and save them by Thy grace through faith in Thy Son Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in none other.
