We join with you in prayer before our heavenly Father and we stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ for deliverance, peace, and healing.

We hear your cry to be delivered from all negative and demonic sounds and from every evil spirit, and we take this seriously, for Scripture tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Yet we also take comfort that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4, and that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. In Christ we have authority to resist the enemy, for James 4:7 tells us to be subject therefore to God, but resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

We also lift up before the Lord those you have mentioned who may be in need of salvation. We agree with you that salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. We pray that if they have not yet truly believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, that God will open their eyes and draw them to Himself.

You also asked that the Lord would remove someone from your memory. We understand how painful and tormenting memories can be, and we know God desires to heal your mind and give you peace. We are called to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5 and to be transformed by the renewing of your mind Romans 12:2. God promises to keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you Isaiah 26:3, and He invites us to think on whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report Philippians 4:8.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we ask for Your deliverance and covering over our dear one who is troubled by negative and demonic sounds and by every influence of evil spirits. We rebuke every evil and demonic influence and every assignment of the enemy against this life, and we command it to leave and to have no more place, for we submit ourselves to You and resist the devil in Jesus name. Fill this home and this mind with Your Holy Spirit, with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and with Your light that drives out all darkness. We pray that You would cleanse the atmosphere with worship and Your Word, and let no weapon that is formed against this child of Yours prosper. We ask that You heal the mind and memory, that You would take away what is tormenting and not of You, and renew thoughts according to Your truth. Help our dear one to dwell on Your promises and to find rest in Your presence, for You sought us when we were in trouble and You delivered us out of all our fears Psalm 34:4. We also lift up those names held in privacy before You, and we ask for their salvation if they do not yet know You. Draw them by Your Spirit, open their hearts to the gospel of Jesus Christ, and bring them into Your family. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name, and we trust You to do Your perfect will. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk closely with the Lord, to fill your mind and your dwelling with Scripture, prayer, and worship music, to put on the whole armor of God daily Ephesians 6:11, and to stay in fellowship with other believers who can pray with you and support you. If these sounds and spiritual attacks persist, seek the counsel and prayer of a mature pastor or trusted Christian counselors who can pray with you in person. Keep calling on the name of Jesus, for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:13, and He is faithful to give you peace and freedom.

We are thankful you brought this honestly before the Lord. The desire to be free from tormenting sounds and unwanted memories, and at the same time to intercede for others to know salvation, shows a caring heart toward God and toward people.

Living with sounds and thoughts that will not leave you in peace is wearying, and you do not have to carry it alone. One steady step that often helps is to invite one or two mature, trusted believers to walk with you regularly, people who know how you are doing day to day and can pray with you in person. A pastor or small group leader in a local church can be that kind of consistent support, along with your own daily time with the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Filling your days with simple, faithful practices and with fellowship can keep you from facing these struggles in isolation.

If these sounds are making it hard to sleep, to think clearly, or to get through the day, it is also wise to let a medical professional know, alongside continuing to seek the Lord for peace and protection.

Father, we lift our brother to You in Jesus' name. We ask You to cover him with Your peace, quiet what torments him, and gently heal painful memories in Your time and way. Draw those he has named to Yourself and work in their hearts toward salvation according to Your will. Give him faithful companions and daily strength to walk close to You. Amen.

Your cry for deliverance has been heard and it is well that you have brought it to the throne of grace. The Lord is gracious and He has provided the way of escape from the pit, for He has said, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance if God had not thought of it Himself, and He has found a ransom in the precious blood of His dear Son.

We join you in prayer that the Lord who has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son would be your deliverer now. Deliverance from the power of sin and from the assaults of evil spirits is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it. He who keeps back the soul from the pit is able to snap the bands of evil habit, to silence the tormenting sounds that vex you, and to set you free from every oppression of the enemy. May He in His mercy drag off every chain, rebuke every evil spirit, and give you peace within your borders, that you may be screened from inward doubts and from the plague of sin and know the quiet of those who dwell under His wing.

We also pray for those you have named, that if they are yet without Christ they may be saved. There is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved but the name of Jesus Christ, and salvation is through Him alone by His ransom. May the Lord in His sovereign grace open their eyes to see their need and to flee to the Redeemer, that they may pass from darkness to light and live to declare the works of the Lord.

And concerning the burden upon your memory, we ask the Lord to do that work which you cannot do for yourself. If we are ever set free in heart and mind it will be because the Lord Himself brings us forth out of the house of bondage, and not by any easy work of our own. May He cleanse your thoughts, heal the wounds of remembrance, and renew your mind by His Spirit and by His Word, so that what once troubled you may lose its power, and you may find that affliction itself, being within the fence of His overruling providence, is made profitable as the chastening of a Father's hand. He who kindles the furnace sits as a Refiner at the door and will not suffer you to be tried beyond what you are able to bear.

May the Lord grant you to say with the psalmist, I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord, and to prove in your own experience that He is gracious and mighty to save. We commend you to His keeping and pray that He will keep your soul from the pit and your life from perishing, and give you songs of deliverance in the place of the noise that has distressed you, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
