Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and we count it a privilege to agonize with you in prayer to God for these mercies.
We rejoice to hear the burden of your heart for a soul that may yet be without Christ, for salvation is all of Divine Grace from first to last and the channel of that Grace is the Lord Jesus Christ who loved, and lived, and died, and rose again for our salvation. There is but one Fountain, that Fountain filled with blood drawn from Immanuel's veins, and that fountain is for the dying thief as much as for you, and for you as much as for him. Grace, how good, how cheap, how free, how easy to be found. If the weakest Christian is in the boat of salvation, that is, if he trusts Christ, he is as safe as the strongest Christian, because if Christ failed the weak one, He would fail the strong one too.
We will plead with you for her of whom you speak, that if she has not yet looked to Christ alone for salvation, the Lord would have mercy upon her and blot out her sin. We pray that she may be brought to cast herself upon the blood and merit of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. Christ Himself has prayed for His own that their faith fail not, and we take comfort that His intercession is a glorious shield over every poor tempted one who looks to Him.
Concerning those whose middle names are upon your heart, we bring them also before the God of Peace. We do not know all that this burden means, but the Lord knows, and we ask that He would order all things according to His wise and gracious will, and that each one may find their true identity and hope not in a name given by man, but in the new name which Christ gives to His redeemed.
Go and plead the promise, plead the blood, and ask for the help of God's Spirit. It is earnest prayer which prevails, not prayer which foams itself away in words, but prayer with force, with energy, with humble boldness, with intensity of desire. Plead for yourself first, and then plead for others, for there is not one who shall not receive the blessing if God shall lead him to pray. May the Lord hear and answer for Jesus sake. Amen.
